Chapter -38 Meeting Harry

"Hello, I'm a Hogwarts student. Are you one too?" Harry stammered.

The boy in front of him exuded a charming and noble presence, reminiscent of the young master on TV. Harry couldn't help but notice the striking green eyes that mirrored his own. Hagrid had mentioned the resemblance to his mother's eyes.

However, the boy's hair was a fiery red, similar to the family nearby—possibly his relatives.

There was something intriguing about a rebellious strand of hair on the top of his head, a testament to its resilience despite attempts to tame it.

Harry sensed a shared struggle, though the boy's hair appeared more orderly than his own.

"You must be laughing at my hair, right?"

"I didn't!" Harry quickly denied, gesturing to his own unruly hair. "I'm not laughing at you. I'm just like you. Look at my hair; it never cooperates.

My uncle makes me shave it every week!"

Harry explained, sharing a common frustration.

Darren grinned, finding comfort in Harry's wildly curled hair. If he had inherited James's unruly hair, he might have shaved it too.

"Now is not the time to discuss this. Thank you for not laughing at me. Let me take you to the platform; it's almost time to leave," Darren said with a slightly embarrassed smile, shaking off the previous immaturity.

"Hurry up, I'll help you push. Just follow me, or you'll be really late!" Darren urged, pushing Harry's luggage cart briskly toward the platform.

"How do we get in there?" Harry asked, trying to keep pace.

"Give it a good push, hit it, and you'll get in!" Darren replied with a cheerful smile. He then pushed the trolley swiftly into Platform 9¾, with Harry closely following suit.

[Ding, congratulations to the host for obtaining the sound of nature].

[The sound of nature: the voice becomes more pleasant, and the ability to persuade others is enhanced]

"Hurry up, get in the carriage!"

"Mom, what about my suitcase?"

"The front carriages are full!"

"Boy, I'll miss you!"

...

The platform buzzed with activity, voices blending together. A crimson steam train marked "Hogwarts Express, 11 o'clock" stood at the edge of the platform.

"It's amazing!" Darren exclaimed.

Despite the limited technological advancements of the time, the continued use of such an old-fashioned train in this magical era fascinated Darren.

"It's amazing! Haven't you been here before?" Harry inquired, thinking that Darren would be equally impressed by the magical platform.

"Well, I heard about it from Paggie, and I wanted to come in with my brother to discover the magic of Hogwarts, but..." Darren trailed off, expressing regret for not experiencing this magical place with his brother.

Harry felt a pang of sympathy. He, too, had hoped to come here with his brother. Perhaps, in the future, Darren and his brother might attend Hogwarts together.

"Well, hurry up and board the train. I'm heading out. Bye-bye!" Darren said with a hint of embarrassment as he rushed out.

"Where else are you going? It's about to depart," Harry remarked in surprise, realizing that Darren had left again.

Before departing, Darren explained, "I'm going to wait for my brother. He may not know how to come in!"

"Oh, well, it looks like I'm the only one looking for a place," Harry sighed, dragging his luggage. Eventually, he found a carriage at the back that was unoccupied.

While stowing away his luggage, two red-haired twin boys stepped forward to assist him. The twins, however, were taken aback upon learning that his name was Harry Potter.

Harry silently appreciated that he hadn't shared his name with Darren; he didn't like being constantly stared at or being expected to have saved the wizarding world.

After the brief encounter, Harry settled down by the window. If Darren had seen him and his brother, Harry might have invited them to join. While waiting, another red-haired boy entered and asked, "Is anyone here?"

Harry recognized him as the younger brother of the two boys who had helped him – like calling Ron.

"Hello, is there anyone here?" Ron asked, pointing across from Harry.

Shaking his head, Harry observed Ron, noting a bit of ash on his nose. Despite both having fiery red hair, Ron lacked the cute and clean appearance of Darren.

Harry sighed, his thoughts involuntarily returning to Darren. He wondered why the boy hadn't come in yet; the train was about to depart. Anxiously, Harry wiped the window, fearing that Darren might have missed the train.

Just when he was about to lose hope, he saw a girl pulling the boy in.

"Sister Becky, wait! I'm going to wait for my brother," the boy struggled, appearing eager.

However, the girl interrupted him, "You're being silly. The Hogwarts Express is about to leave, and your brother probably doesn't know how to get in."
