Certain Adult
Over the years , to be specific, since my 13th birthday I have learnt to find comfort in my solitude.
I woke up that day with happiness radiating off me , it has been so since dad announced I will be having a birthday party for the first time with my friends. My birthday has always been me , Anderson and Dad alone.
Anderson is Dad close friend and mine over the years, since he never misses my birthday and he is only person I feel very comfortable with to share my deepest fears Dad said he is the alpha of the largest pack in America and also the strongest alpha there is , I don't understand the energy between us both ,I love been in physical contact with Him whenever he is around, my wolf , practically makes me long to touch him and nothing saddens me more than when he have to leave. His absence after every of my birthday usually leaves me grumpy for days, you cant blame me i dont even have the luxury of enjoying the normal friendship my agemate does ,as much as dad wants me to enjoy my growing up i cant help been nervous of the next time we might have to leave again.
Dad said, werewolf usually go through there first shift between ages of thirteen to eighteen but i had my first shift while i was ten, my wolf Arya is the piece that binds everythinh together ,she understands me more than anybody else but just go all weird when Anderson is around .I still relieve the memories of what happened that day ,its makes me dread my biorthdays than enjoy it.
On this auspicious day, Dad came to my room singing the birthday song with his own gift box which I later discovered is a beautiful bracelet with red diamonds all around,

Like ? I love it, you know this is my best colour .I look at my Dad with eyes full of Happiness more because my friends will be here to celebrate with me soon.
Good , freshen up baby and come downstairs your party will be starting soon. I went downstairs jumping and smiling at everything, Dad already ordered the food online which will delivered very soon and my birthday cake is right there on the center table in our sitting room .Our house is a decent one and I don't have so many friends except for Belle , Victoria, Sophia,Lana , Chris,Adams ,ginger and the others.
it is so hard keeping my excitement at bay so I don't suddenly shift Infront of the humans and Dad has made me promise before sending out the invite. It has been an emotional rollascoaster since i had my wolf three years ago , Dad didnt allow me go to school for a month until he is sure i wont suddenly shift in school and reveal the secret to the humans , our house is the last in the alley and closer to the woods ,so dad and i can go there to let our wolf out for a release.
My friends started arriving but my wolf and I is waiting for a specific adult who only comes to meet us on a day like this and leave us Sad by leaving but we still want him around even if it is just for the day . Anderson
He promised to get me a catapult as a gift this year,Dad doesn't know but before he leaves he usually teaches me how to defend myself even when I was little until I had to punch a student in school when I was 12 and he lost a tooth. We know he will come because he never misses any of our birthday so we wait, my friends were coming in with their gifts and I keep making daddy wait before cutting the cake because I was expecting a certain adult.
Sweetie pie, I know you are waiting for Anderson before cutting your cake but don't you know it will be rude to keep your friends waiting till then ? Dad said
But Dad ,He never missed my birthday and doesn't come this late ,are you sure he is alright? I asked
He is fine and will be here soon he just had some emergencies but he said he will soon be here , He called this morning before you wake up and also wishes you happy birthday.Dad said and I felt warmth in my chest , I don't know if it's I or my wolf who is comforted but we love the fact that he called us first thing in the morning.
We went back to the sitting room because Dad had drag me to the kitchen for that conversation and I finally cut my cake and my the party started in full .
suddenly,I felt my wolf rising but I had to control it ,We already promised Dad and the man of the hour entered the house.
I rushed down to him and he carried me in a tight hug and I felt my wolf purr , our big day is complete . I was about to start with my pile of questions I already have waiting for him in my mind when I suddenly hear a loud scream.
