"Why call upon your prince?" I ask Benjamin as I can see the hesitation growing in his eyes as he reflecting on this question.

"Because I am Prince Williams messenger" he finally admits as I sigh. Although I wasn't sure if the sigh was a breath of relief or fear.

"Why were you sent?" I ask him, preparing myself for his answer.

"Prince William wished for you to join him" he tells me, "In his quarters" he hints as I scoff at the audacity of the prince.

"Call upon your prince" I tell Benjamin, beckoning myself up from where Beth laid. "But do not think for a second that I wish for his company" I say as my eyes are brought back to Beth, worriedly. "Beth needs his help" I say, "and regretfully, I do too!" I admit my weakness in front of Benjamin as he just nods and scurries off. As I'm left with Beth, holding her hand in mine.

"It worked your Majesty!" I hear Benjamin yell in triumph.

"It worked?" I ask him as he eagerly nods. And the thought of the spell working brought a smile to my lips.

I'd spent my days asking around about Ezra. Everybody has a weakness, and hers was right under my nose. Beth, the lowly servant she grew fond of made it all too easy for me! Ezra Rolfe was who she presented herself as, and it was all to easy to see through the facade she surrounded herself in.

"Bring me to her" I command Benjamin as I still grin from Orion's doing that brought me success.

"Of course your Majesty" he says as he leads me to the servants corridor. And suddenly I see her, her back glued to me and toward the wall.

"Ezra?" I call to her as she turns to me and a slight smile appears on her face.

"Your Majesty" she call, bowing to me.

"What's wrong?" I ask her as she sighs, looking to Beth. Turning her back to me and continuing what she's doing.

"She passed out by the fountain" she tells me as I smirk. "I caught her just in time before her head hit the floor.

As I look to her hands I finally see something through the slits of her fingers, as their working meticulously. I see small containers of herbs, as she's concocting something. And suddenly I see it! As she pricks her finger on a pin and presses on it, letting it drop into the cup.

"What are you doing?" I ask her as she turns around to face me.

"Making tea my Prince." She tells me as she walks to the servants bedside. "I learned to make this tea in Keran" she tells me as I smirk, she never mentioned she travelled before.

"What is it for?" I ask her as she smiles.

"It is for sickness" she explains as she bring the tea to the servants lips, as she slowly sips it and suddenly her eyes open in a haze. "Beth?" She calls to her as she nods and pulls her in for a hug.

Surprised and shocked we're the two emotions that were not in my system. "How did you do that?" I ask her as she turns to me.

"My mother studied under a healer for some time" she says as she caresses Beth's head. "I learned a few things, it's impossible not to" she snidely replies as I just watch her closely.

"Benjamin" I call to him as I usher him out of the servants quarters and into the hall.

"Yes, your majesty?" He ask me as I smirk, tapping my forefinger against my chin, thinking the slightest about her.

"Take Beth to the infirmary" I order him as he nods. "Tell them to wait for my beckon" I continue, "We have our leverage" I tell him as he walks away and I stand there. Staring at the wall, thinking of all the power to be left in my hands.

"PRINCE WILLIAM?!" I hear her call my name as I turn to her. Seeing her running to me from down the hall, her dress floating beside her. Her darkness brought out the seer beauty in her danger. "I wanted to speak with you about Beth" she starts.

"Ezra" I say her pen name as she stops. "Call my William" I ask her as she smirks.

"Beth is leaving to the infirmary?" She ask, as I can hear the worry in her voice.

"Yes" I answer her with. "That is the best place for her" I say as I see her holding her tongue, "Dint you think?" I ask her as she nod in agreement.

"Yes, your majesty" she answers softly.

"Now" I say, changing the subject. "Why don't you start worrying about the ball" I tell her as she hangs her head at the mention.

"I won't be attending your majesty" she admits as I shatter, the plan!

"You must Ezra" I try to convince her.

"But Beth being ill..., I couldn't" she detest as I sigh. Her companion, blah blah.

"You have to Ezra" I comfort her. "Beth will be in the best hands of medicine possible" I tell her as she smiles.

"I'll think about that" she admits through a smile.

"Good" I spare her as I turn to walk away.

"WAIT!" She beckons me. "We are acquaintances?" She ask me as I nod my head, a silent yes to her question. "Nothing more?" She ask my as I smile.

"Do you want to be more?" I ask her as she nods her head to a quick no.

"I just wanted to make sure" she pleas as she quickly runs the halls as I smirk.

"Just enemies" I mutter to myself through my cheeky smile.
