Chapter 22

Laxus pov

I spin her around with a big grin on my face. Kissing her full on the lips without a care in the world like my life depends on it. Only separating when my phone rings that pesky thing that for some reason I replaced. "What" I snap into the phone a little harsh but you can blame me when I was interrupted. I do not like to be bothered especially on the weekend. "Hello" a tiny voice calls out to me. I soften my tone when I realize that it's Mirella, Ella for short. "I'm sorry this trip is going to be longer than planned. I will try to be back as soon as possible". She nods a bit sad at the screen that's why I added in "I will be bringing a visitor. Just between you and me" I say leaning closer to the screen lowering my voice "she's really pretty". Her eyes light up as she starts jumping around, doll in hand. "Only if you're good to mommy then I'll bring her" which she quickly agrees to. "I wuv you" Ella says, making me smile. "I love you too Princess" I tell her ending the facetime call.

Meanwhile Lucy stands there boring holes in to me. I don't know what I did. She seems to accept my apology and this only started like a minute ago. When I caught her spying on my conversation. If she was a teapot her entire pot would have come bust. Woman needs to take a chill pill, like damn. I don't want her having a stroke on me or something. She caught me looking at her so she put on and act of not being angry. "I was just heading out for a run if you wanna come with" this she states. Like she would rather me not come but doesn't wanna sound rude about it and is kind of indifferent if I do go or not. Not looking in my direction at all nonetheless meeting my eyes. Tying her hair up in a ponytail and slipping on booty shorts with a sports bra that I do not approve of around other perverts. I agreed to go along with her since I want to figure out what's with her. Maybe it's her time of the month. I have sisters so I know all about that looking ahead to see that she's already left the house.

Must've been dozing off for too long for that thought to even occur to me. I jog to catch up with her. For someone who is as tiny as she is her little legs sure move fast. "I like to consider myself fit but after this I'm not so sure". With my hands on my knees to catch my breath like lots of runners do nowadays. "Layoff the Donuts then. Now get your ass moving!" Is what she says while jogging in place facing me, so backward. "This was only three miles 2 more to go so five in total" she claims checking her watch. I groan outwardly so that she can hear my disapproval. I shake my head at her teasing. Oh you are going to get it I say to myself scanning the area around us. I spotted a pool conveniently next to us.

Which is what sparks my great plan. I jog up to her on the side closest to the street. Subtly moving us towards the right to the point where we aren't even on the sidewalk anymore. Then I may or may not have pushed her in the pool after that. She didn't notice at first that we were going closer to the neighborhood but then got suspicious. What surprises me is her great instinct. Lucy latches on to me pulling us both in the pool because of gravity on her side. Curse you gravity!

We looked at each other for a second and then burst out laughing. We met eyes for the first time today which is how just now I realize how beautiful they are. Glinting in the sunlight with the way they reflect off of her in the pool. Its like a kind of sea green color which matches the ocean so perfectly I almost feel like I'm on the beach. Now this might sound a bit cringy so prepare yourselves but I could get lost in them. All of a sudden we got real close to one another. It felt like no one moved at all honestly. Not knowing who will make the move I can't miss this opportunity. That's why I gladly take the chance to close the remaining gap. Tilting my head slightly for a better angle.

"God you're so fucking beautiful and you're all mine" I accidently let that slip through my mouth what I'm thinking. I swear her heart just sped up tremendously for some reason that I can probably tell why which I love. Her little cute face turns pink. So adorable to me but I'm not sure why. Our lips are touching at this point then she objects to what I just said about her being mine. "I am not a sack of potatoes you can transfer without my permission I'm my own person" wow I didn't expect that reaction from her. A little fiester than anticipated but I think she liked it when I called her that. Well who wouldn't I'm like the hottest person in the world that anyone would ever be blessed with meeting. "Ok princess but you are my girlfriend now" I say obliging her. It doesn't stop my plans of moving closer to her in a really close proximity. She seems to lean in slightly before she pulls back a tiny bit. "I can't" she breathes our lips touching when she says that.
