Synopsis

A determined but untalented martial artist fought and clawed his way to the top, where he dominated the world of martial arts through his own determination and his unique fighting style. But alas, martial arts don't make you invincible. While he was walking the streets, he saw a young couple being harassed by a gang of delinquents. Being a decent person and having the strength to help, the master martial artist did so, and took out the gang of delinquents but not before they called for reinforcements. He defeated those as well. But, surprise surprise, not before they called for reinforcements. This continued, until the master martial artist had left around hundreds of severely injured or dead bodies in his wake. Finally, after carving his image into the faces of many present, he was taken down. He died standing, many injuries and a lot of blood loss contributing to his death. Normally, this would be a good story to show that you should mind your own business and not be a busybody...but this martial artist actually found himself in front of a Godly Being, after death, who offered him talent and a bloodline to become a better fighter. He offered these gifts and a blessing, and asked for the martial artist to fight aplenty in a new world because it would be entertaining to watch. What world? Highschool DxD, of course.
