[The Everlasting]

"Yo teach, what's this?" questioned one of your more unruly students as he points over at a portrait detailing a man with glossy black hair standing atop a mountain of bloody corpses, the face obscured by time and decay of the nearly 1000-year-old painting.

"Jackson? I'm surprised you even asked" You weren't lying, Jackson was well known for his violent behavior, and as a result, his grades were all on the low end, and during classes, he would either be sleeping, smoking, or just flicking spitballs at nearby students.

"Yeah well, this dude kinda looks like you right?" he squinted as he looked closer at the painting, though you and everyone else could not see the resemblance, I mean the man's face was scratched out who knows how long ago.

"Then it seems you see something we don't" You had to hide the small smirk that threatened to come to your face as you turned around and walked away with the class right behind, Jackson peeking at the painting one more time before ultimately giving up and joining the rest of you.

Jackson had a good eye, that and he had the potential to be an amazing mage, so it's too bad he was just a bit too observant.

[Appearance]

This gear has had only one user since its first appearance an uncountable amount of years ago, and all records or accounts had long since disappeared or have been destroyed, though a certain Egyptian legend says...

"Find the hand that governs time, and you shall become Everlasting"

[Abilities]

[Main ability]

The Mind, The Body, And The Soul - Immortality in its truest form, or at least the closest comparison. If your body is destroyed, your mind will wander the cosmos searching for a new body to take over, if your mind is destroyed too then your soul shall roam the world searching for a new host, and if your soul is destroyed then it shall reemerge inside another destine to die prematurely.

[Secondary ability]

Perfection - When the sacred gear activates your body will either grow or return to its peak state and it will stay in that state forever. You will not age, you will not get sick, and any injuries will be healed within mere seconds, and unless every single cell of you is incinerated or atomized your body will regenerate back to peak health.

[Balance Breaker]

Turn Back - When in dire straights the user can activate the balance breaker and the clock will turn back and rewind time to when the user first activated the sacred gear so they get a do-over.

This can only be activated once per user.

[Drawbacks]

The entire goal of this gear is to make sure you never die, it will not save you from being killed or sealed, it will only keep you alive for all of eternity.

Also, if someone else finds the Hand that governs time while another user still has the sacred gear the gear will be ripped from its current user without warning, and the one that found the hand will acquire it instead.
