You Didn't Summon Me!

Chapter 50 - You Didn't Summon Me!

"Why does your bento look exactly like Akeno-senpai's?"

Koneko stared at Mahiro with her golden eyes, her tone filled with suspicion.

She looked at Mahiro's bento and then at Akeno's, confirming they were identical in both the box and the meal style.

Hearing this, Mahiro's face twitched slightly.

'So this is what you're concerned about?'

"I can explain that for you, Koneko-chan."

Akeno said with a smile.

Koneko looked up at Akeno.

"Because I prepared Mahiro-kun's bento," Himejima Akeno continued.

"Mahiro-kun is quite casual about his meals, so I decided to take care of his diet."

Akeno took out a key as if to show off.

"Mahiro-kun has given me the key to his house. I'll be visiting often from now on."

"Has your relationship reached that point?"

Rias sighed, rubbing her forehead.

"There's no way around it: anyone who breaks into my home without notice risks being mistaken for a thief and getting caught by the police, and then I'd have to go and bail them out."

Mahiro shrugged, jokingly implying that Akeno was causing him trouble.

"What do you mean by 'breaks into'? That's too much. I knocked properly."

Akeno pouted and playfully stuck out her tongue. "But Mahiro-kun was sleeping so soundly, he didn't hear it."

Mahiro ignored her.

Koneko remained silent, eating her bento indifferently.

Seeing this, Mahiro didn't say much and continued eating.

"You didn't summon me."

Suddenly, Koneko spoke up.

She raised her head and looked at Mahiro with her expressionless face, causing Mahiro to feel a slight chill.

Mahiro felt a bit speechless at Koneko's question.

They had trained together over the weekend and only separated on Sunday evening.

Why summon her in this case?

"Summon?"

Rias asked, puzzled, "Did Mahiro-kun need any help from Koneko?"

"I bought a lot of games recently. It's boring to play alone, so I thought of Koneko first."

Mahiro explained.

"That's why you plan to use Summoning contracts?"

Rias chuckled.

She didn't expect Mahiro, who always seemed committed, to have such a hobby.

Although such requests were not uncommon in the contract, they seemed a bit inconsistent in Mahiro's case.

"Well, I got the summoning card from Koneko, but I haven't had time to use it yet."

Mahiro spread his hands.

"Koneko takes her missions very seriously. You took the summoning card but haven't summoned her, so Koneko feels frustrated."

Rias nodded and said, "If you have time, summon Koneko."

Hearing Rias's words, Mahiro felt a bit helpless.

He had only received the summoning card a few days ago and hadn't had any free time to summon her.

However, in the end, he did not explain.

Koneko's eyes didn't leave Mahiro. She continued to look at him quietly, waiting for his answer.

"Ok."

Mahiro nodded in agreement.

"In addition to playing games, I can also do some housework. I'm very good at those works."

Koneko added.

It sounded like a rivalry with Akeno.

Mahiro gave Koneko a weird look but didn't comment.

Instead, he said, "Well, I might trouble you in the future."

"Key."

After Mahiro agreed, Koneko extended her hand expectantly.

Mahiro: "???"

"I don't want to be mistaken for an intruder and caught by the police."

Koneko explained expressionlessly.

Mahiro almost laughed.

"I'll give it to you when I summon you tonight."

Mahiro didn't refuse.

He had already given one to Akeno and didn't mind showing another.

However, Akeno was not in a good mood.

She had just declared her intent to defend her territory in the morning, but now she felt like she was losing ground.

Sure enough, internal strife leads to downfall.

Akeno immediately looked at Mahiro with a resentful expression, feeling aggrieved.

However, Mahiro, who had already learned to see through Akeno's true nature, chose to ignore it.

Under Akeno's resentful gaze, Mahiro finished his lunch.

"By the way, Mahiro-kun, there's one more thing."

Rias suddenly smiled mysteriously.

Seeing Rias's mysterious smile, Mahiro's curiosity was piqued.

"What is it?"

A light flashed in Rias's hand, and a sword appeared.

The sword was in a sheath.

Mahiro realized Koneko had insisted on bringing him to the ORC for lunch to surprise him.

"Didn't I say yesterday that I wanted to find you a weapon? Here it is."

Rias handed the weapon to Mahiro.

"So fast?"

Mahiro had to admire Rias's efficiency.

Mahiro took the sword, feeling a faint warmth emanating from the sword even through the sheath.

Mahiro gripped the hilt and drew the sword, revealing a crimson blade with pulsating patterns.

The sword's name was engraved at the end.

The Sword Of Eternal Flames.

"Is this a Demonic sword?"

Feeling the power emanating from the Sword of Eternal Flames, Mahiro couldn't help but ask.

This sword was simply extraordinary.

"It hasn't reached the level of a Demonic sword, but it's a weapon of notable quality."

Rias explained that Demonic swords were treasures.

Although Rias personally wouldn't mind, the Gremory clan might.

Looking at the Sword of Eternal Flames, Mahiro's eyes showed joy.

Although it wasn't a Demonic sword, the quality of this sword was far superior to his refined samurai sword.

"Thank you, Rias. I like this gift."

Mahiro expressed his gratitude.

"As long as you like it."

Seeing that Mahiro was satisfied with her gift, Rias felt her efforts were not in vain.

"Actually, I planned to find a weapon with a lightning-based attribute, but unfortunately, this was the only suitable one I found."

Rias said regretfully.

Yesterday's Raikiri had impressed her, so she thought she could find a weapon to match it, but she couldn't.

Mahiro didn't mind.

He checked the attributes of the Sword of Eternal Flames through the system function.

Item: Sword of Eternal Flames

Quality: D

Effect: Attacks with fire-based attributes can cause burning effects, making it a good weapon.

"D-class weapon with Raikiri seems a perfect match."

Mahiro couldn't help but smile to himself.

Mahiro was surprised by the system's evaluation of The Sword of Eternal Flames.
