The Resort

It was 2pm that same day. The weather was quite hot. Jake and I arrived at his dad's resort. We stepped out of his car parked in the parking lot and walked inside the resort.

I heard many cars driving by. As we walked into the resort there was a lot people and I could hear many people talking at once.

I glanced at a cafeteria and noticed waiters carrying plates of meals and bottles of drink serving the people in the cafeteria. Most of all the customers were dressed in beach wears.

I can taste the not very fresh air because there has been many people walking through here. The resort is called Paradise lodge. It is an enormous resort.

I grinned from ear to ear as we walked. Jake clenched my hand.

"It's beautiful." I said energetically. My eyes lit up in joy.

He turned to me, stroked my cheek and looked into my eyes, "no you're the one beautiful."

I speechlessly stared into his eyes and blinked twice.

"Let's go to the cafeteria, " he dramatically rubbed his tummy, "I'm starving."

I giggled.

We got to the cafeteria and we approached an empty table and sat down. A waitperson walked towards our table and he asked softly, "what's your order?"

Jake picked up the menu lying on the table and he glanced through it, lifted his head up and said, "I'll have beef steak and salad."

The waitperson turned to me, "what about you?"

"The same as his." I quickly replied.

The waitperson walked past our table. I noticed a lot of ladies wearing bikini roaming around the beach side catching fun with their boyfriend and I felt quite envious and wished that Jake and I could be like them.

Jake glanced at my face and noticed my cheeks were getting pale. He felt quite disturbed and he tried to speak to me when his phone started to ring noisily. He glanced at the screen and noticed that it was Leila calling and he got jittery.

I lifted my head up feeling quite irritated by the audible ringtone, "aren't you going to take the call?"

He froze wondering how he was going to take the call in front of me, he did not want me to hear his conversation with Leila.

The waitperson returned to our table. He brought the orders carrying two plates on a tray and I got distracted staring at him serving us.

Jake's heart stopped pounding, he switched off his phone and slid it inside his pocket.

The aroma escalating from the plates of meal smelled breathtaking that I was having a huge appetite.

Immediately after the waitperson left our table, I quickly grabbed my cutlery, diced the steak and quickly munched it. I fetched a scoop of the salad and I gulped it. It tasted so good, I gulped more scoops of the salad and I was starting to feel choked. I quickly stretched my hand towards the tumbler of water and I drank up till there was no drop in the glass cup. I belched noisily.

Jake was staring at me feeling amused.

"Take it easy on the food. It's just food."

It dawned on me that Jake was sitting in front of me and I felt quite embarrassed.

"Oh no! Jake heard me belching. He's going to think that I'm disgusting." I thought and bowed my head and I noticed that his plate was still full and his cutlery sparkling and I panicked in my mind, "gosh, has he been looking at me all this while?"

I felt bad and reasoned with myself, "the steak and the salad was scrumptious how could I help it? And besides, it is my dish so I can eat it however I feel like."

Jake was mum and was staring at my face and I assumed that he was so embarrassed to speak.

Jake rolled out a tissue paper from it's unsealed packet and he stretched his hand towards my face. I looked at him and I was feeling confused wondering what he was about to do.

Jake mopped my cheek gently, "you have steak grease on your face."

"Oh!" I smiled at him, "thanks."

He slowly dropped his hand down and he smiled at me, "come on, let's go swimming."

He held my hand and I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. I nodded, "yea sure."

We sprang from our seat and walked out of the cafeteria holding hands.

We went to different rooms to put on a beach wear. When we got to our room we walked in and it was really big.

Jake put on a pair of red shorts and he stepped out of his room.

He walked towards the beach and he stood under the hot scorching sun. His hands were slid into his pockets and he was staring at the waves of the sea flowing back and forth.

I was done changing into my bikini dress. I felt quite uncomfortable because it indicated my curvaceous hips.

I stepped out of the room and I walked outside approaching the beach. The rays of the sun burned my face, my eyebrows got furrowed and I looked at Jake. He turned and looked at me. The sun shining harshly on my skin made my skin glimmer. Jake was mesmerized noticing my body glowing and he glanced at my curves. He grinned from ear to ear.

I could not help but notice his broad chest and his very flat tummy. He looked quite muscular and the flashy black spectacles seated on his face made him look cuter, and my lips curved into a smile.

I also noticed his hairy legs.

I paused besides him and he held my hand and said, "let's go swimming."

I nodded, "yea sure."
