Aren't you jealous

Soon it was lunch time and I headed to the cafeteria with Olive and Amber since Sarah was busy with work. we sat down and ordered for a sandwich each and a glass of orange juice just then Joshua walked in with his cousin and friends seating at the table beside us but I wasn't burdered about that except Olive could stop staring at his table and so did Amber.

"why are boy's in this school so handsome". Olive said sighning.

"Olive snap out of it". I said almost losing it.

"Ariana please if you don't like Joshua and his friends then say it and stop making others think we are glaring at your boyfriend". Olive snapped back which stunned me. I was about to reply back when the devil himself came to our table and sat on the vacant chair in between I and Olive.

"hi Olivia". Joshua said smiling broadly.

"hi josh". Olive wispered which made me want to puke at them both but especially on Joshua, I knew he was doing it on purpose to cause a rift between Olive and I because I didn't agree to be his friend. Is it by force to be someone's friend? or who even wants to be friends with him?. I asked myself looking at the two in front of me.

"I'm having a party at mine next weekend and I'm inviting you and your friends and I hope you would honor this invitation". Joshua said still smiling sweetly at Olive as she batted her eyelashes.

"yeah we will all come". Olive said and suddenly I spoke looking at Joshua.

"Olive speak for yourself, Amber and Sarah didn't even say anything about coming for a party". I lashed at her.

"I'll definitely come". Amber said not looking me in the eye.

"I'm definitely sure Sarah would agree except for you". Olive said and rolled her eyes.

"good you know I won't be attending". I said and Joshua looked at me.

"but I didn't invite you". Joshua said innocently smiling cunningly at me.

"but Josh she's one of my friends". Olive said.

"if you insist then she can tag along". Joshua said crossing his legs still staring at me.

"sorry Joshua or what ever your name is but I won't be tagging along because I have more important things to do". I said folding my arms. Amber and Olive just stared at me and also at Joshua.

"but why you'd break poor Olive's heart". Joshua said softly holding Olive's hand.

"I have a meeting with a friend of mine next week so I won't be available". I lied and stood up about to leave when Joshua pulled my arms and said:

"aren't you jealous seeing me with your friend Olivia". Joshua asked using his other hand to circle round Olive's shoulder.

"jealous you must be kidding me". I said and removed his hand from my arm when I bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry". I said and looked up to see Freddy (Joshua's cousin).

"no need you must be Ariana, nice to meet you". Freddy said extending his hand for a shake which I grabbed akwardily. I knew Joshua was starting at his cousin evilly which made me glad the fool must be jealous.
