"L-Leaving that weird magic of yours aside, how can you be sure... of this?"

"I told you that we shouldn't have gotten her here, Brand".

"That's mean Saya!"

Saya rolled her eyes and ignored Rei, those two just don't get along.

I did as I promised her; after leaving school Shizuka drove us to the mansion for our training sessions, Yuriko should have been there already and she texted me saying to not bring anything since she prepared lunch.

The conversation had eventually come since Rei was full of questions, asking why we suddenly had a mansion, why we were building barricades all over it... so on and so forth. I couldn't just tell her that we're doing this for fun... so after showing her my 'magic' which involves making a crossbow appear and disappear... she somehow believed that I was special, but she wasn't convinced about the Catastrophe.

"You asking this question is exactly the reason why I had never told anyone, Rei... I don't have a way to prove it, I don't have anything that could convince you that I'm saying the truth... it is your choice whether you believe me or not... I can't even tell you what sort of catastrophe it is going to be, only... it will be infectious".

"... so you think society as a whole will change?" She furrowed her brows.

"Likely..."

"I have to think about this but... thank you for telling me... I apologise that I stopped coming, girls".

"No need to worry Rei-chan, we know that you got yourself a boyfriend~"

Shizuka, as tactless as ever... at that moment Rei's countenance dropped as I sighed... if you don't want to be Komuro's girlfriend, why even accept?

[Rei's POV]

I'm currently taking a shower in this massive mansion's main bathroom, it resembles more an Olympic pool than a bathroom, I had never been in a place so luxurious and now... this is Brand-kun's house.

As I scrub the underside of my breasts and hear the giggles to my side, I don't know what to think. My gaze drifted towards them. Marikawa-sensei, Saya, Saeko-san and Lucy-chan... there is also Saya's mother, Takagi-sama... they all seem to be having fun and socialise so well, what I don't understand is... Lucy-chan, Saeko-san and Saya.

How can they behave so well with one another, I mean... they're... going out with the same person. After scrubbing myself completely Takagi-sama and Marikawa-sensei leaned to the side of the pool on their own, drinking sake and enjoying themselves.

'H-How can they be so big?' I shook my head and cast that question aside.

"If you don't mind me asking, the three of you... how can you share..? like... don't you have self-respect?" I said, perhaps it is not the best way to ask but I can't see it anyway else.

It is the reason why I didn't confess to Brand-kun in the end... not only is he going out with Lucy who pretends to be his sister but they even performed the 'deed' already... I hurt a little when I first heard it. Like crushing all my hopes.

"If I want to be with the person I love that is lacking self-respect? a narrow way of thinking" Saeko-san answered me, a little offended. She was tidying up Saya's hair.

"But why would you share? doesn't it hurt you?"

The three girls looked at one another and laughed, what is so funny, really? I can't understand the three of you.

"Why wouldn't I? you have your way of living Rei-san, and I have mine... I choose to be his sword and he has chosen to take me as his woman... respecting me and giving me a place. I have also chosen to accept this arrangement. Sometimes we simply adapt to fit better in the place we consider we belong to... I feel like I belong here, that's all"

I frowned, somehow understanding but at the same time unable to place myself in her shoes. My gaze then drifted to Saya who was yawning and allowing Saeko-san to scrub her hair.

"And you?"

"Me? why do I even have to explain anything to you, brainless girl?"

You spoiled girl!" I retorted back to her and sparks quickly began shining between us.

She spoke haughtily; I really hate this girl's guts. From the beginning I suspected she had feelings for Takeshi, but it turns out she ended up becoming Brand's girlfriend... those two got quite close during the first months of high school and most were surprised because Saya is quite apathetic, we studied primary school together and she never changed.

It was a shock to find she had a boyfriend, not because she's not beautiful but because of her attitude... most boys would be too frightened to even speak to her. When I thought about Brand-kun who seems to not fear anything, it sort of makes sense why she'd become his girlfriend... what doesn't make sense is how she'd accept this arrangement.

Let alone Takagi-sama also accepts it... nothing is making sense to me, I feel like I'm the only one that's taking it seriously like I'm overthinking.

"Why are you even bothered, Rei? I thought you had a boyfriend? why do you suddenly care about Brand's intimate circle?~"

"Hmn?" It was Lucy who addressed me this time, she's no doubt the prettiest girl here, almost looking like she's out of this world. Ever since we met I have been curious about her.

"What do you mean? I just... I'm just curious that's all"

"You don't even need to ask me why I accepted it... I'm a genius and won't lose to these two vixens even when it comes to seduction.... I'll be better than them and Brand will end up choosing me, that's all".

That sounds so much like something Saya would say...

Her words did nothing but produce a laugh out of the two girls.

"Quite a bold thing to say for someone that's so shy on the bed?~"

I was left with my mouth opened widely... b-b-bed? don't tell me all of them have already-

"Shut up!" Saya yelled at Lucy, jumping on the latter until both of them sank underwater, probably wrestling. I don't even want to know anymore... what is Brand-kun doing with all these girls?!"

I decided that it was enough and proposed myself to leave, standing up towards the exit... it was then that I saw him... coming in completely naked and yawning!

Brand-kun rubbed his eyes, probably having come from his own training but... why are you here?!

My face went as red as a tomato, looking down to see my body wet and exposed, to make things worse he also looked up and down before whistling.

My arms tried but failed miserably to cover my breasts, what are you waiting to turn around and leave?!

The bastard kept looking at my body for what I thought was an eternity!

"Brand-kun!"

"Oh damn-! *cough!* S-Sorry, Rei... I forgot you're here".

What do you mean you forgot I'm here!? Marikawa-sense and Takagi-sama are also here!

"YOU PERVERT, GET OUT!"

Just what the hell is going on in this mansion?!
