Three days later Jay and Bianca traveled but Liz was still in school she didn't want to go home because of her family, especially her stepmother, she was in the bathroom when her phone rang and she rushed out to pick it up she realized it was her father
" Hello," Liz said after picking up
" Why are you not
coming home" that was what her father said
" is that what you are going to ask after all these days," Liz asked disappointingly
" One of my friends whose child attended your school told me his son was home for a project also he was attached to the company he will work with....so what are you still doing in school" he asked
"I will come home but am not ready yet" Liz reply
" Are you still mad at your stepmother At least she is now your mom" he said with a soft voice" .... so I want you home before 24 hours for you to prepare your project" he said, Liz didn't reply and she hung up
She dropped her phone and lay down on the bed not long her phone rang again she picked up without checking the number
" Hello what's again" she thought it was her father
" What's up, Liz....." Jay said
That was when she realized it was her boyfriend
" Ooo Jay.....am good and you," she asked
" Same here....are you still in school," Jay asked
" Yes.....am bored also lonely" she replied
" Why....are you not going home for your project" he asked
" I will but my dad hates me since he had a wife am nothing to him he loves that woman and I don't want to go home and see them happy" she cried " I wish my mom was still alive" she cleaned her tears
"Don't cry....are you crying" he
asked " am sure your dad loves you just that he needs a woman, Is it because you believe he doesn't love you again and for him being with another woman doesn't mean he don't love your mother again, just take hearts and accept your
father decision" Jay said
" Dad.....I can't do without my dad and am not ready to share him with anyone" Liz cried and Jay petted her
Light fade
Light shone at the canteen, Liz was getting her lunch
" Hi Liz," Herin said when he moved closer to her
" Herin," she said and turned to him
" You are still here I thought you had gone home," Liz said
" Hmmm...but am going home today for the assignment, which company are you attached to" Herin asked
" Am under Mrs America's studio" Liz reply
" Ohh... I'm also attached to the company" herin reply
" That means we are colleagues," Liz said and both of them laughed, herin took serving plates and began to take what he wanted after the dishes they went to sit on an empty dining table
" What are your strategies after getting home," Liz asked
" I missed my mom and I can't wait to see her after that I will prepare for the assignment" Herin explained
" You are lucky to have a mother...I wish I also had one" She gave him a fake smile
" Am sorry for that" Herin said
" It not your fault I also missed her even though I don't know her," Liz said and ding a spoon in her meal
" but you are also lucky to be a rich man's daughter," Herin said trying to, comfort her
" Rich man without having happiness Liz said " I wish I was like Bianca whose mother cared for her without finding a man to support her....all that my dad needs is a woman, not a daughter" The food choked her and she began to coughs herin gave her water and she drank after some minutes she was okay and she stood up from the table
" Thanks...am going to prepare my bags for the journey," she said and left with her phone, on her way to her hostel her phone rang she checked the caller, it was her father and she determined not to pick it up.
Some hours later she was ready to go home but didn't call her father for a car and she took a taxi and logged into a hotel near her father's estate.
She spent a week in the hotel while she was clubbing and hugging around with boys her father was worried about her, even he checked for her at school and he was informed that she had left the school a week ago the man was worried and he informed the police and news stations when jay had about the new immediately he called her luckily she picked up and told him her whereabouts since then jay has been visiting her
Two days later she was not found
Liz was at the bar taking alcohol when the barman that attended to her realized she was the missing girl and immediately he informed the cops, after Liz was done with her drinks she stood up and went to the room she lodged in and fell on the bed after some minutes a sound come through her door she stood up and open the door,( it was her boyfriend)
" Jay you are here," Liz said, he entered and locked the door, while Liz walked back to the bed
" Liz you have to go back home....the project has started and you have not yet attended the classes" Jay explained
" Don't worry my father is rich he will handle it" Liz replied
" But he is worried about you....you need to go home" he insisted on her going back home, Liz didn't listen, she stood up and walked closer to him
" But I missed you most.....can you stay with me tonight" Liz asked while she was touching his face
" But you need to go home first," Jay said, Liz held his waist and kissed him suddenly someone broke in while using a spry key a cop that followed him and their leader raised his voice by saying freeze
" Don't move" the leader repeated, Liz and Jay were Scared
