Bam's House

"Where are you going?"  Mom asked as I descended the stairs, my sling bag dragging.

I rushed down the stairs, then ran to my mother who was busy watching television in the living room.

"Want to go to Bambang's house, can I ma'am?"

"That's okay! When you get Uyon's house, ask for durian!"

I nodded quickly, gave Mom a quick kiss on the cheek, then ran to the garage.

I didn't tell Mom anything about me being nearly harassed by the damn thugs on my way to school, because Mom would immediately panic, and forbade me to ride a motorcycle again.

I don't want to worry her, and also I still want to be free to ride my motorbike, so I better keep the story safe.

I rode my motorbike out of the garage, towards the gate, and drove fast through the busy streets of Jakarta.

Bambang's house is not far from mine, so I don't have to worry about anything, right?

I also choose busy streets to avoid incidents like yesterday, because learning from experience is very important.

Arriving at Bambang's house, I immediately went into the house, because by chance the house was not locked.

There was a sweet smell of food that wafted as soon as I entered.  Looks like Aunt Yuyun is cooking.

I ran cheerfully towards the kitchen, intending to taste Aunt Yuyun's cooking that had slapped my subconscious.

"Why, uncle is cooking?! It smells so good!"  I said when I saw my uncle who was cooking in the kitchen.

"Eh, my sweetheart! Here, taste uncle's cooking! Guaranteed delicious!"  said Om Uyon while gesturing for me to come closer with his hand.

Of course, I immediately ran, and happily tasted Uncle Uyon's butter chicken.

"How? It's delicious, isn't it?"  asked Uncle Uyon while looking straight at me.

"This isn't delicious anymore, Champion! Can't I add rice?"  I said after swallowing the chicken.

"Hei, I haven't eaten the chicken's yet!"  said Bambang, who for some time had been standing in the kitchen doorway.

Bambang walked unsteadily over to us, and immediately pulled my sleeve, to get away from the kitchen.

"Let it go, I'm hungry!"  I whined.

Bambang didn't listen to me, he continued to drag me casually, to his room.

"That's really bad! You can't even ask for food!"  I grumbled annoyed.

"Then just eat it, with the others! It's not polite, you come and ask for food!"

Hmm, yes.  What Bambang said is true.  But, that applies to other families.  Bambang's family is a different story!

I sat on the sofa in Bambang's room.  It's quite comfortable here, although it's really messy.

"What do you need here?!"  asked Bambang without further ado.

"I want to ask a lot of things! You know that I'm a curious person!"  I immediately turned around and sat facing Bambang who was tidying up the Playstation stick on the carpet.

"What? You're so stupid!" Bambang Said.

Ignore!

"What is Roulette?"  I started asking.

"Some trouble maker!"  said Bambang without looking at me.

"What project is Roullete for? How do you gather alliances? Shouldn't the base children fight or fight with other schools? Why don't you?

Hearing my question, Bambang immediately took a deep breath.  He stopped what he was doing, and looked up at me intently.

"What are you really busy with, what do you want to know about Roulette?!"  joking Bambang annoyed.

"Yeah, just want to know!"  I said quickly.

"Don't worry!"

"Yeah, because without me knowing it, I got to know a lot of Roulette guys, wouldn't it hurt if I knew more about them?!"

Bams shook his head slowly.

"Then, Mbang, I wonder why you, and the alliance, make a kind of patrol post in lonely places like that? What for?"  I asked again, even though Bambang had not even answered my previous question.

"Well, since in the future you will continue to be together with me and the others, it's better if you know!"

I nodded quickly and immediately approached Bambang.

"Here, let me tell you about the beginning of the formation of Roulette. In the past, the ones who created it, and the shape of Roulette were Yogo and Paijo! So, Yogo's brother died because he was killed by a motorcycle gang member named Blackstone," Bambang started to tell the story, and I just listened silently.

"Because they know that many students in our school have also been victims of Blackstone, they finally founded Roulette!"

"So, all of the Roulette guys have been victims of Blackstone? Including you?"  as.

Bambang took a deep breath.

"In the beginning, it was like that. Those who have family, or relatives who have been victims of Blackstone unite, join Roullete. Our main goal is to take revenge, and also protect the community in the future. We want to dissolve Blackstone!"

I nodded in understanding.

"But, because we are outnumbered, it's so far away, it's impossible to disband them. So, we recruit anyone who wants to join to help, we also immediately make alliances with bases or gangs from other schools so we can balance Blackstone!"

All right, now I understand.

"While we are preparing for the fight against them later, we will hold night guards in places prone to robbers and other criminals. That's why every night Naya always cooks, provides food or drink for our friends to guard, so they don't go hungry!"

Who would have thought, the delinquents whom I thought only liked to fight, fight, and find trouble, turned out to be a group of potential heroes who thought about the good of society?

"Now, do you understand? Is there anything else you want to ask?"  asked Bambang, looking at me probingly.

"Oh yeah, they said you were also their victim? What victim? A robber?"  I asked curiously.

"In the past, my father's workshop was burned by Blackstone! In addition to being injured, we also went bankrupt! Luckily, your mother wants to help with the capital, so please help my family's economy!"

I smiled faintly.  Yes, my mother is very good indeed!  He is the best.

"But don't your parents know that you're involved in something of this magnitude? They would be very sad and worried if they found out their child was going to attack a gangster?! You, uh no, you could get hurt, or worse, you could just pass!  "

Bambang smiled sarcastically.

"You don't know who the real father and mother are! Do you think who trains Roulette in fighting, trains us to use weapons, who is it?!"

I gaped in disbelief hearing Bambang's words.  I know Aunt Yuyun is a tomboy, but how could she do that?  Coaching Roulette?  But, wait!  I've seen Roulette guys warming Aunt Yuyun at school, so what did Bambang say, right?  Crazy!

"Wait, but this is really dangerous, you know! They are motorcycle gangs! And of course, they are cruel, cruel, while you are just schoolchildren!"  I exclaimed quickly.

I don't want Bambang to take that big of a risk.

"You've seen Yogo and Paijo fighting, right? That's not half their fighting skills! So, don't worry!"

"Yes, they are the leaders, I see! How about you and the others?"

"You want to see me fight, don't you?!"
