Akeno's Decision (Missing Chap)

Azaroth could feel what she felt, he had been in her shoes before and he could understand… losing a family member or someone important to you was something that not everyone could handle but Akeno would push past it.

She needed to use this as a stepping stone to achieve greater heights and not mope over it like a child- he didn't want any drawbacks on his Peerage, no he wanted a strong queen that would lead the others into battle.

Despite them being the same age, Azaroth believed she could do so much more than him- everything depended on the way she handled this situation…

This very situation… and he was going to make sure that she was going to make the right choice.

"You lost your mother and your dad stood you guys up, I get-"

"What do you know about it?" Akeno shot back, her lips curled into a scowl, "You looked like you were having so much fun playing around with my Mother's killer,"

Azaroth stuttered nervously and gave a small chuckle- he was a warrior, that was how it was. He was supposed to get excited mid-battle.

"But I killed him, that was something you couldn't do," Azaroth turned from cheery to cold in an instant, his lips twisted into a malicious smile as he rested his back against the chair of his room.

"That man was the man that killed your mother," Azaroth said, "It was not my mother but rather your mother, I didn't have a right to be there,"

"When you were about to run away- something sparked within you, didn't it? Through that intense burning hatred, there was also something within…" Azaroth said, "Welling up from deep within like a storm, your mother might have been a good woman but the world won't know that, all we know is that she died,"

Akeno clenched her fists tightly.

"What you felt that moment was Weakness which was accompanied by a question, 'What If I was stronger?'..." Azaroth said, he knew it was sounding cryptic but cryptic bullshitting was one of the only ways to get ladies to listen.

"If you want, I can take you far away from me… back to the place where you came from to wait for your dad," Azaroth said, "But you'll lose this opportunity forever… a chance to actually get stronger, do you still want to feel weak like before? Do you want to lose another loved member because of your weakness?"

The air was thin but Azaroth could feel something stirring within Akeno- driving from deep within her soul and out her mouth.

"N-no," Akeno muttered under her breath, Azaroth's words were stirring up something deep within in…

"I didn't hear you," Azaroth said and Akeno stood up and began walking to Azaroth.

"I don't want to be weak," Akeno said and steadily continued to advance toward Azaroth, "I want to be strong- I want to grow even stronger to protect the things I love,"

"Great," Azaroth said and extended his right arm forward, "Will you be my queen?"

Akeno nodded quickly and took Azaroth's hand, it was almost like a connection was being formed between them.

"I feel stronger," Akeno muttered under her breath.

"Do you feel strange?" Grayfia asked and Akeno shook her head.

"Not at all," Akeno said.

[A / N: No way I'm writing an Evil piece reincarnation scene right now]

"So it was a success," Azaroth muttered under his breath, he felt a connection being formed within himself and Akeno- and he was aware Akeno could feel it too.

Even though it was quite a bit, their connection would grow over time and Azaroth couldn't wait for it.

He was almost ready to battle Grayfia too for her hand in marriage although he decided to hold it off for quite a while- Azaroth was already sure he had crossed over to Ultimate class but he needed to be completely sure.

"So what is going to be my duty to you, Master?" Akeno asked and Azaroth's eyes widened in surprise as he turned to Grayfia.

"She should know how to respect your properly if she's going to be your queen," Grayfia said and Azaroth shrugged.

"I want to show you a move," Azaroth said and she nodded.

They soon found themselves in the backyard with Azaroth performing some stretches.

"You're going to be a very important Magus in my peerage and therefore you must familiarize yourself with all kinds of magic," Azaroth said as he pulled his hand backward, "Although Lightning magic and Fire magic are the main elements that should be focused on now for attack- you'll get there,"

Azaroth decided to well up energy from deep within his soul, utilizing his energy- he perceived the shape of his soul and drew upon energy from it, letting it flow into his arms.

They let loose a golden ethereal form of lightning that Azaroth pointed toward the sky, twin bolts of lightning strong in their own right tore through the air and exploded mid air, sending shockwaves.

"Bolts of Truth," Azaroth said, "I'll teach you how it's done but now I suggest you start training with Grayfia,"

Akeno nodded and they vanished, leaving Azaroth alone in the backyard. Figuring he was going to be alone for 30 minutes or something, he decided to do the needful.

"Enter a dungeon," Azaroth muttered under his breath, surely the grind was eternal and he didn't plan on getting backtracked anytime soon.

His hands flickered as a golden burst of light appeared in front of him, crimson bolts of lightning warped around the dungeon gate and Azaroth once again knew he was stepping into uncharted territory.

"Let's see what they have for me," Azaroth said with a bright smile as he entered the dungeon, the nostalgia of entering a dungeon filled his heart.

'Its been quite a while, hasn't it?'

It's been a while since he stepped into the reins of a dungeon, a place where he could actually let loose.
