Unexpected Guests in Training

In the morning hours as the fog lingered in the forest, a voice said,

"Okay now, all of you are here."

"For my special training."

"If any of you want to back out, you can go now," the voice says louder.

As they heard what the man said, the crowd looked at each other with concern.

The reaction of the audience was positive. Raven exclaimed loudly, "Good, this training is also for your own good; the strong will survive, and the strongest will rise to the top."

"Now, I'll explain to everyone. We're in the Red Fog Forest, and there's nothing special about it except for the Red Fogs that cover it and a special animal called the Red Fancy Fox."

"Red Fancy Fox was a special type of beast that could only be found in this forest, so The First Training was simple: you only needed to catch three Red Fancy Foxes to pass."

"Is that it?" someone in the audience asked.

"Yes, that's all. Isn't it simple, right?. The time limit is one day, at which point you can visit the tallest mountain in this forest when the sun rises." Raven said this while smirking upward and then vanished without a trace.

After Raven has vanished, the crowd communicates with one another in order to find the Red Fancy Fox's clue, and some of them form their own groups.

Raven appears on the highest mountain in the forest.

"Welcome back, young master," Sonya said, greeting Raven.

"Have you installed all of the cameras in the Forest?" Raven inquires.

"Yes, I've already prepared everything," Sonya says as she hands Raven a small box shaped like a cubic cube.

It is extremely convenient to live in this world because everything is portable. He was holding the cube in his left hand while playing with it and threw it to the ground.

---Bang!---

A robotic sound was heard as the cube grew in size and assembled a room with many computers inside.

Meanwhile

Leo and his friends were plotting how to capture a Red Fancy Fox. Leo never considers this a simple task. He is aware that there is something in this.

"Don't you think it's a simple task?" the chubby teen asked.

The Red Fancy Fox was a unique creature that lived in the Red Fog Forest. It was quick and could blend in with the Red Fog. Legend has it that there is a Red Fox Queen who has lived here for many years. It was never seen by anyone.

Leo was intensely focused as he tried to recall everything he could about the Red Fancy Fox. Its features, living habits, and activities that it enjoys.

"Oh!" exclaimed Leo..

"What's up, Leo?" his friend wanders aloud.

The chubby man emerges from the bushes, helpless, and says, "There's nothing here."

"I remember that the Red Fancy Fox likes a flower called Red Roses Crown, and you can only find it where there is a lot of fog," Leo stated confidently.

The chubby teen asked, "Really?

Leo hurriedly remarked, "Let's find that place now before the other does."

-Returning to Raven's viewpoint-

Raven commanded, "Now, let's start the show," flashing a sinister grin.

Raven inquires to Sonya, "How many students will remain," as he watches the videos of each student.

Sonya responds to him, "Maybe twenties."

"That was less than I expected; by the way, you can now let our friends loose."

Rooooarrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

The students stopped what they were doing when they heard a roar coming from the forest.

Since the majority of the students grew up in greenhouses, this training aimed to develop their natural instincts. Every student possesses unique qualities. Some of them are intelligent, agile, and have strong leadership skills. Raven therefore wants them to cultivate and personalize their distinctive traits. Raven thinks that if someone survives when their life is on the line, they will fare much better.

Raven enthusiastically said, "Let's just watch the show."

Leo, Lawrence, and Barnett crept slowly under the bush, aiming for a Red Fancy Fox in front of them. "Hey, did you all hear that roar?" said Barnett, who was holding a branch as camouflage.

"Shhhhs! It's just your imagination," Lawrence responds in hushed tones heard only by the trio.

Leo was intent on capturing the Red Fancy Fox. He is aware that catching it was difficult due to its agility and keen sense of danger.

The trio has already caught two Red Fancy Foxes. Raven's mission was to capture rather than behead the Red Fancy Fox. So it was more difficult than killing it.

"Young Master, I noticed some suspicious people loitering in the forest," Sonya told Raven as he sipped his tea.

"Let them be; isn't it more exciting if there are more people?" Raven says with a devilish smile to Sonya.

"By the way, only save the children when they are at their lowest point in life; make sure they don't die since it will be a headache afterwards."

Raven thinks intently as he touches the ring on his fingers after Sonya has left.

-Meanwhile-

"Are you sure we can capture the princess?" a man wearing a dark hood and dressed as a ninja asked his companion quietly.

"Don't worry too much. According to the information I gathered, the teacher was a cripple who couldn't level up anymore; he was only level 35." A man wearing the same outfit said confidently.

"But... captain indicated that he was renowned in the past, and even the captain was willing to carry his shoe, so we need to be careful; we don't know what will happen," a concerned guy remarked.

"Tssk!, It's all in the past," the guy sneered.

Unbeknownst to them, a large beast was prepared to feast on them. The beast was a gigantic enormous snake that was hiding in the great old tree. So they didn't see it since they were too busy chatting to each other, and the forest was shrouded in crimson fog.

A hissing sound was heard, prompting one of the guys to turn around to see where it came from, but when he turned his head, a gigantic jaw greeted him and devoured him alive.

The second person, who witnessed his companion being devoured by a beast, screamed at the top of his lungs in fear.

One of his companions was about to strike the large snake when another massive beast crawled out from beneath his feet.

-Booooom-

"What the hell! How on earth is there a Love Twin Snake in this fucking forest?" a man exclaims as he flees for his life.

-In the meantime-

Leo and company were about to trap another fox when they heard a loud cry from afar.

"Oh my gosh! Is that a human screaming?" Barnett said as he held the comatose Red Fancy Fox in his arms.

"By the way, I may eat its cooked flesh, right?" Barnett asks, his gaze fixed on the comatose Red Fancy Fox and his tongue protruding from his mouth.

"Damn you fatty, your head is always full of food," Lawrence responded.

Lawrence and Barnett were arguing when Leo saw something in their vicinity.

Leo said to the two, "Hey, Stop for a minute. I feel like something is off."

Keeping an eye on Leo, who has become solemn. Lawrence's face hardened as Barnett quickly placed the Red Fancy Fox in the Cage.

The shrubs are moving. As their respiration quickens, the trio walks carefully through it. Only the sound of the wind and an owl's song can be heard.

Leo instantly opened the bush, but nothing was there, and unknowing to them, a pack of wolves was watching them from behind.
