The Siblings of Wrath

After the conversation with Mr and Mrs Vouix, Charlotte felt really exhausted chatting for two hours. Then Josephine explained all about Charlotte's castle, Charberg. The name Charberg is taken from Charlotte's name, and Charberg is Mr and Mrs Vouix's favourite castle. As the duke and duchess, they were given five castles by the Queen, Lexi Revene. Lexi had actually hated Charlotte, since Charlotte has golden hair, while hers is brown. And Lexi's eyes are blue, just plain blue. The former King and Queen had never given Lexi any attention whatsoever after Charlotte is born. The King and Queen would give the best high-quality things to the duke family for Charlotte. They hated Lexi since she looks so plain. Plain, evil and always wants the best, that is Lexi. Once she became queen, she spread rumours about Charlotte to make her popular of her evilness. After that, Charlotte was called, 'The Queen of Wrath'.

Lexi was very mad after hearing this. She spread more rumours, but Charlotte just got more and more popular. Lexi wanted the spotlight for herself. She wanted to be popular for whatever title it is. And so, Lexi was called, 'The Greedy Queen'.That made Lexi angrier. She wanted to be called, 'The Beautiful Queen of Taraneus', but everyone called her The Greedy Queen because that's what she is. Lexi soon became full of jealousy and turned away from her people.

And so, Charlotte got more popular as day by day passed. Lexi soon got ill and became plainer each day. Her moist skin turned hard and black, her blue eyes turned grey and her brown hair turned lighter. She wanted the opposite. But then, because of her sins, her wishes were never granted. Charlotte who has changed felt pity and offered to take care of Lexi. Lexi didn't want to let Charlotte take care of her, but Charlotte insisted.

Charlotte took care of Lexi for days. Those days turned to weeks and then months. Then, it was time to reveal the results. Lexi was no longer ill, her grey eyes turned a beautiful sky blue, her hair turned darker and her skin was shiny and moist once again. Lexi was surprised because she thought Charlotte hated her, but no. Charlotte sees Lexi as a sister and a very important sister to her. And that is how they were called The Siblings of Wrath. Lexi was happy. She never knew that bonding with Charlotte would give her the best of life. She then thought of Charlotte as her little sister.

And then, Lexi gave Charlotte's family five castles and one named Charberg especially for Charlotte. The castle's garden is beautiful with roses and daisies all over. Charlotte loves to walk there with Lexi. Even after Charlotte got in a coma, Lexi visited Charlotte every day. She also put flowers in a vase on Charlotte's bedside table and changed it every day.

While Josephine was chatting with Charlotte, in came Lexi. Lexi was surprised to see Charlotte awake, that she dropped the new flowers and hugged Charlotte. Charlotte was startled but hugged Lexi back. Lexi cried until Charlotte comforted her. 'I missed you so much! You were in a coma for so long!' Lexi cried. Amelia's heart skipped a beat. What if Lexi knew that she wasn't Charlotte? She would probably be disappointed. But again, luckily Amelia has the exact same personality as Charlotte. She wished that she was Charlotte.

Lexi talked with Charlotte until it was dark.'Bye, Charlotte! I'll see you next week!' Lexi shouted from afar.'Bye, Lexi!' Charlotte shouted back. She was tired. And so, that was Amelia's first day as Charlotte.
