OLD GRANNY 'S VISIT

They arrived at a quiet diner five blocks away from the apartment and ordered stir-fried beef, steamed vegetables, spicy pickles and mashed potatoes as their dinner for the night.

“Shall we?” Looking at the mouth-watering dishes placed in front of her, she inquired.

“Of course!” Ethan chuckled, picking up his cutleries. Cutting a slice of beef he asked, “So how’s everything going concerning the article?”

“It would soon be off the internet and I’ve instructed the Public Relation’s department to give an official statement against the article.” She explained to him before putting a spoon of mashed potatoes in her mouth.

Sighing in satisfaction at the deliciousness of the meal, she hurriedly took another spoon of mashed potatoes then steamed vegetables and spicy pickles. She kept on stuffing her mouth until there wasn’t any space left for the stir-fried beef.

“Slow down Kirsi, the food isn’t running away.” Ethan commented, stifling his laughter.
