INSPECTION DAY (1)

“I came as soon as I heard you were here.” He was finally settling in when Fredrick ran into his office similar to a person who was being chased.

“Did anything strange happen to you?” he whispered to him even when it was just them in the room.

“I almost got killed today.” He pointed at the bruise on his neck.

“Oh!” he covered his mouth with his hands.

Then a sudden thought came to Ethan.

“Wait, did you know something like this was going to happen?” he stood up from the swivelling chair. Every step he took towards him; he took in disbelief.

“Yes...I..I mean maybe?” Fredrick stuttered as he took steps backward; he didn’t know what Ethan was going to do to him.

“So you left me there to die?” he raised his voice at him, holding unto his collar.

“But you didn’t and that’s good news.” He freed himself from his grasp.

“This is so inappropriate Mr President.” Fredrick sulked, adjusting his collar.

“It’s just a little bruise compared to what I had to suffer.” He scoffed.
