First day at work

"Grandma. I'm off to work, it's my first day and I would rather not be late, "Hailey said. "Okay dear, the driver will take you to work, take of yourself," Grandma Mary said. "Alright, Grandma bye", Hailey replied, then left for work.

Hailey was nervous as she arrived at King's Enterprise, the largest corporation in the city. She had just been hired as a cleaner and this was her first day on the job. She took a deep breath, straightened her uniform, and walked inside.

As she entered the building, she was greeted by a flurry of activity. People were rushing around, talking on phones, and typing furiously on their computers. Hailey felt a little intimidated, but she knew she had a job to do.

She made her way to the cleaning closet, where she found her supplies and a list of the areas she was responsible for cleaning. She put on her gloves, grabbed a bucket and a mop, and set off to clean the first floor.

As she walked down the hallways, she could feel the eyes of the employees on her. Some looked curious, some looked indifferent, and a few even smiled at her. Hailey felt a little more at ease with the friendly smiles.

She started with the conference room, wiping down the tables and chairs, and sweeping the floor. Then, she moved on to the restrooms, scrubbing the sinks, toilets, and floors until they shone. Hailey was meticulous in her work, wanting to do a good job on her first day.

As she finished cleaning the first floor, Hailey was feeling proud of herself. She had done a good job and was ready to move on to the second floor. But just as she was about to take the elevator, she noticed a spill on the carpet in the lobby.

Without hesitation, Hailey grabbed her mop and went to work. She carefully cleaned the carpet, making sure not to leave any stains behind. As she finished up, she heard a voice behind her.

"Good job, Hailey," said a man in a suit. "You're a hard worker."

Hailey turned to see Mr King, the CEO of King's Enterprise, standing behind her. She felt a rush of pride as he complimented her work.

"Thank you, sir," she said with a smile.

Mr King nodded and walked away, and Hailey continued to the second floor, feeling a little more confident now. As she worked her way through the building, she realized that cleaning was more than just a job to her. It was a way to make a difference and to take pride in her work, regardless of what it was.

By the end of the day, Hailey was exhausted but satisfied with her work. She had made a good impression on her coworkers and had proven to herself that she could do this job well. She left the building with a smile on her face, ready for her next day as a cleaner at King's Enterprise.
