1 Million Dollars Paid

Ezra and Shasa were seated in the living room of her house, waiting for the representatives from the agency that wanted to buy the house. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. Shasa got up and went to answer it, with Ezra following close behind her. When she opened the door, two men were standing there, dressed in suits and carrying briefcases.

"Good afternoon, Ms Shasa," one of the men said. "We're from the agency that's interested in buying your house."

Shasa smiled and invited them inside. "Please, come in."

The two men walked into the living room and started to take a look around the house. They inspected every room, taking notes and measurements, while Shasa and Ezra watched nervously.

After about an hour, they had seen everything that they needed to see. The two men sat down at the dining table, and Ezra and Shasa joined them.

"So, what do you think?" Shasa asked, feeling anxious.

The man in the suit cleared his throat. "Well, Ms Shasa, I must say that this is a beautiful property. It's in a great location, and it's very well-maintained."

Ezra breathed a sigh of relief, feeling hopeful.

"But," the man continued, "we do have a few concerns about the property. There are a few minor repairs that need to be made, and we'll need to do a few upgrades to bring it up to our standards."

Shasa and Ezra looked at each other, feeling a little worried. They weren't sure if they could afford to make any repairs or upgrades.

The man in the suit noticed their expressions and quickly added, "But don't worry, we'll take care of everything. We'll make the necessary repairs and upgrades, and we'll pay you the full asking price for the property."

Ezra and Shasa looked at each other in disbelief. They had never expected to get the full asking price for the house, let alone have the agency take care of all the repairs and upgrades.

"That's... that's wonderful," Shasa said, feeling overwhelmed.

The deal was finalized, and the agency wired the full asking price to Shasa's bank account. After an hour, Shasa nervously clutched the briefcase containing the one million dollars as she made her way to Mr Frank's office. She had never carried so much cash in her life, and the weight of it was making her arm ache.

When she arrived at Mr Frank's office, she was greeted by his assistant, who led her into his inner office. Mr Frank was sitting behind his desk, going through some papers.

"Good afternoon, Mr Frank," Shasa said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Ah, Ms Shasa, good to see you," Mr Frank said, looking up from his papers. "Do you have the money?"

Shasa nodded and placed the briefcase on his desk. She opened it up to reveal the stacks of cash inside.

Mr Frank counted the money carefully, checking each note to make sure they were genuine. Once he was satisfied, he closed the briefcase and looked up at Shasa.

"Very good," he said, smiling. "I will give you the invitation now, but I must warn you that this event is very exclusive. You and Mr Ezra must dress appropriately and arrive on time."

Shasa nodded, feeling grateful that they had been able to secure the invitation. She took the envelope containing the invitation and put it in her bag.

"Thank you, Mr. Frank," she said, feeling relieved.

Mr. Frank nodded. "Just remember, this is a one-time opportunity. Make the most of it."

Shasa left MrFrank's office, feeling like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She and Ezra could now attend the charity event and hopefully, resolve Ezra's issues with the Business Mogul.
