Chapter 1.

Have you ever wondered what the life of a perfect girl is like?

Well, this is the perfect opportunity.

Flo was a perfect girl.

She starts her day by combing her hair and brushing her teeth. She changes into her uniform and eats breakfast. If only her sister could eat breakfast with her, she never does.

Flo gets her things and prepares for the day, but she doesn't leave before doing one little thing.

Going to her room, she finds a little book tucked under her bed. It's a book she's had for a while. It helps her become the perfect girl that she is.

Flo glides her fingers across the pages, looking for the bookmark she had placed down for the page she was looking for.

Did I mention that this book was no ordinary book It was something Flo should have never come across. Regardless she did. Well - it's what helps her become the perfect girl. It's fine. Without it, her life wouldn't be so easy.

Flo finds the bookmark and opens the book up to its page. As she stares at it, she quietly chants an affirmation.

"I trade my mind and soul for my happiness under rose tinted irises."

Maybe it isn't an affirmation, but she believes it to be one.

Having said this, Flo is ready to start the day. She takes her bag and heads out of her house to begin her walk to school. Today's another perfect day, just like her perfect self.

As she exits her house, she's greeted by a familiar face. Xavier. He's her best friend. Ever since the beginning of highschool, and will forever by the end of it.

Since the start of her affirmations, however, he always avoids her gaze. As of today, he still does it. Why does he always look away from her? And when he doesn't...

It feels like he knows something.

"Good morning Xavier!"

All she got in response was a grumble.

"Grumpy as always, Xavier?" She asks.

"... I guess." He responds. That's odd, he suddenly began sweating. His aversion towards her gaze seems to be even more.

She didn't do anything, did she?

Oh, Xavier. Always so strange.

Goosebumps appear on Xavier's skin.

Flo is as two-faced as always.
