CHAPTER 7

When is she coming? Hope this won't be for nothing? I asked myself as I poured another drink on her friend

As if she was answering my question, she came

"Shannon!" I called her name with pleasure

"You are finally here. I was starting to wonder when you were going to arrive. The party has been long going" I told her and I saw her look at her friend's body and the ground

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Such a doubting Thomas

She took a deep breathe and after a while, she opened her eyes and looked at me

"What in the world do you think you are doing right now?" she asked me, raising her voice

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I asked back pouring another drink to show her what I can do. Even with the staffs here, I can do what I can. I'm untouchable

"What?" I asked

"Am I doing something wrong. Like that male?"

What will her reaction be?

I wanted to know what she would say but, I guess she reacted in her mind

Her friend was about to look at her but, I forcefully grabbed her face back to me

No one turns their back on me

"You look at only me. Your're my slave, you hear" I told her

"What?" she asked

"Oh, you didn't know. She's my slave, starting from today" I replied with satisfaction

I removed my shoe, poured milkshake on the back

"You don't even deserve this but, since you're my slave, I'll give you this honor" I told her

She had better be grateful

I gave the shoe to her

"Drink it" I told her

As I was waiting for her to drink it, she was drag from the floor, and before I could either register anything or know what to say, I heard a sharp sound and felt a very painful sting on my face, my face turned to the side

She slapped me

After I registered what happened, I turned my face back only for her to slap me again on the other side

By now the murmuring were multiplied and increased

"Twice. I warned you twice, didn't I?" she asked

"I told you not to touch her. I told you that I wasn't going to stay still if you even touch a strand of her hair"

I turned my face back

"How dare you?" I asked her

"How dare me? How dare me what? Bring you to your senses?"

I stood up

"Do you know what you just did? Do you know the consequences? Do you know who I am? Do you?!"

"Who are you?! Who in the world are you, you crazy psycho trash?!!" She paused, took a deep breath and push her hair to the back

"Who are you? Answer me" she said, this time in a calm tone

"I am..."

"The mayor's son, Aiden Parker? Someone who wears boxers? You think that's who you are? No" she asked and said the last statement with a smile

"That's not who you are. Never. Do you want to know what you are?" she moved closer

"You're a psychopath. A full time psychopath. A disgusting psychopath who should be at a very good mental institution or better still, an asylum. You disgusts me" she said, turned and walked a few feet before she turned back and scoffed

"BFG? Beloved Flower Gods? Even Big Friendly Giant makes more sense. You guys in this school sure come up with ridiculous names. BBP? Brains? Yeah, right" she said and left, holding her friend's hand with her bag on the other hand

I slammed the cloth I was using to clean Kim's clothes on the sink

"Shoot" I said and grabbed my hair, seriously fighting the urge not to break anything

"Doesn't it hurt?" Kim asked

I glared at her

"Forget that. I was just wondering if your scalp doesn't hurt with all that grabbing?"

I put my hand down

"Seriously, Kim. You couldn't even call me?"

She bent her head down

"How could I? I had to follow him that instant" she said sadly

"Even though.." I stopped myself

She has a point

I hugged her

"I'm so sorry. I put you into this mess and I couldn't even be there on time. I'm so sorry" I apologized

"Hey, what are you apologizing for?" she asked removing my arm

"You came and even though it was horrific now, I have to admit, it's so different from before you came"

"That's what I'm saying. It's all because of me"

"When we remember this later, I'm sure we will all laugh" she said

I looked at her and then we suddenly started laughing

"I'll really protect you now, I promise" I told her

"Well, that is that but, what are we going to do about my clothes, and yours" since I hugged her

"It's okay, we can just go to my house" I told her

"What of class?" she asked

"We both have spare next period" I told her

"Oh, I forgot that for a second"

"Let me go get my bag" I told her

"I like your house" Kim said when I pulled into the drive garage

"Yeah. I know" I said

She scoffed as she opened the door and we got down

"I guess someone is around" Kim said with the loud music we could hear from even the garage

"That's my mom and probably the college drop out" I said

"College drop out?" she asked

"Hum, my brother"

She chuckled

"The one you scored a point against"

"The one and only" I said and opened the door with my copy of the key. When Kim entered, I wondered what was going on, until I got inside

Fortunately my mom wasn't home but, there was my brother in all his glory, sitting in front of the T.V. playing a game I don't even know the name of. The biggest size of coke was empty on the center table along with two empty boxes of pizza with one almost finished. I shook my head but at least, he was wearing a shirt

"What other prove does mom need?" I asked from the door and he head snapped up

"What are you doing here?" he asked

"I'm definitely sure that question isn't coming from you" I said

He was about to say something else when he noticed Kim

"Hi" she greeted smiling, when she saw he had his eyes on her

"Oh, hi" he said looking at what he probably just realized as a mess

"You're too late. We seen all the mess"

He might not care about what his family thinks but, he is the type of person who wants to impress those outside, regardless of their age or sex

"You should have notified me of your existence earlier" he said

I smile at him

"And what would have changed?" I asked him and took Kim up the stairs

"Sorry for the mess you just witnessed"

"It's okay, I also have a brother, you know. And he's much worse"

I chuckled and opened my closet

"You can choose what to wear. My important and favorite ones are elsewhere" I said and she laughed

After we changed our clothes, I laid on my bed

"Do we have to go back?" I asked

She joined me on the bed

"We still have class. Even if you're going to a truant, you just came so, we have to go"

"I'm in no way going to become a truant. If for nothing else, my brother is not going to have an end of disgracing me"

"Underline the even I said"

I stood up from the bed

"Well, if we're successfully going to go back to school, I advise we leave this room or, I'm permanently staying on the bed this time"

She laughed and we went downstairs, the mess gone

"Sorry I couldn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Edward" my brother said coming out of the kitchen

"Eddy for short" I added

"Shut up. Just Edward" he said the first sentence to me while the last to her

"He hates his nickname" I whispered to Kim but still made sure he heard

"It's not my nickname"

"I'm Kim. Kimberly" Kim said stopping me from talking

"Nice to meet you" he said and they shook hands

"But by the way, what happened to you guys. You were covered in rainbow"

"Well, I was, maybe we were, in a situation and she also got stained because she ignored me

"I see"

"We'll be going back to school now" I said

"Let's go" I told Kim

"Bye" she said

"See ya" he said

When I reached the door, I turned back to face him

"Bye Eddy" I said and darted out before the cushion could hit my face

"Another thing I've noted about you" Kim said as we entered the car

"What is it?" I asked

"You're such a troublemaker" she said and we laughed
