CHAPTER 1 : Alexandria

"Grandma, how i wish you are here. The success that I have right now is for you. I miss you so much grandma." Alexandria said to the wind as if talking to her grandmother who died 3 years ago.

Alexandria grew up in Hemena with her grandmother. When she's in college, she went to Kyoko to pursue her dreams of becoming a proffessional artist. She took fine arts and graduated 4 years ago. Unfortunately, after a month of her graduation she received an e-mail from her grandmother's friend telling her that she needs to go back home because her grandmother is sick. She immediately went home and took care of her dearest grandmother. But sadly, after a year she died. Alexandria was left alone in their home in the cliff. Since then, she never left Hemena.

Krrrrng Krrrrrng!

"This is Lex speaking?" Alexandria said as she waited to hear the voice of the person who called her.

"Alexandria, there is a package for you from Lei. Would you like me to deliver it? "Thomas asked her.

"Don't worry Thomas, i'll be there in a few." Alexandria answered as she took the keys of her house from the drawer where the phone is.

"Alright, Lex. Take care." Thomas said and ended the call. Thomas is one of the elders in Hemena. He treats Alexandria as his own especially when the latter was left all alone.

Hemena was owned by Alexandria's ancestors. But 5 years ago her grandmother sold it to a business tycoon whom Alexandria didn't knew of. The reason why she sold it is because she wanted Alexandria not to hold on to something. She wants her to travel the world and find new.inspirations for her art. The money she got from the buyer is multiple times the prize she asked for. It is just that, the buyer gives credit to how Alodiah, Alexandria's grandmother took care of the island. Alexandria is technically a billionairre but she is not spending her money with things that are not important. She also loves the simple life she and her grandmother have since she was a kid. The people in the island are those who seek a refige when there is a war many years ago according to Alexandria's ancestors. The history of the island was written and published from one of the islander who wanted to share the beaitoful story of the island. With respect to the peopke who estanlished their homes in Hemena, Alodia sold the part which she knew that is not quite relevant for the people. Half of the area of the island was sold and luckily she found a buyer who's willing to follow the terms and conditions she set even if she intends to sell it. One of the significant condition Alodia set is that the buyer won't make any move that can harm to the island and to the people. The buyer knew how much love Alodia has intp the island and so he promised her that he will not do anything to alter the beauty of the island because it is his resting place. Knowing all this, Alexandria wanted to thank the new owner of half of the Hemena because if it wasn't because of him Hemena won't become progressive since that time he bought a part of it. That person she calls Mister brought a lot of good things to Hemena. He builds a hospital, school, bridges, and he provides livelihood program for the people. Alexandria wanted to met Mister but she has no idea who he is and what he looks like. Mister wants to become anonymous to people since then. All they knew is that this person is willing to support Hemena in any way he can.

"Uncle Thomas, where is my package?" Alexandria asked as soon as she entered Thomas grocery shop.

"It's under the table behind the counter. Just get it Lex as well as the pink container beside it. It has kimchi on it." Thomas answered smiling.

"Uncle Thomas, you don't have to make kimchi for me. I am already capable of doing it." Alexandria responded showing her fine perfect smile to the old man.

"Just let me do it for you, alright."Thomas dismissed her with a snap and nodded her to go home already. "Take care of yourself Alexandria." Thomas added as he watches her exits the entrance from his store.

"I will Uncle. Take care of yourself too. Bye bye" Alexandria said while waving her hands to the old man.

For Alexandria, the success that she has today is because of the people who keeps on inspiring and motivating her. These are her townspeople who never left her side since she was little. She is loved and adored by the people of Hemena. And they will do everything to make her safe, she knew that.
