HELLION ACADEMY

HELLION ACADEMY A hell for Nulls, A haven for Elites. It took away my life once, never again. Everything I valued and ever cared for lost in a game they all love to play. Hierarchy. But not this time. Because I have something I didn't. I have power. After all, Power conquers all. LOCATION: HELLION ACADEMY- SOULCASTERS UNION- SINCE 3000

He stalked the halls with an air of confidence.

The familiar structure of the academy gave him a crack of nostalgia, but he refused to let it govern him.

Running his hand through his dark brown, teal laced tips, he scanned the area. Sharps eyes glinted in the evening light as they raked over every detail in search of The Head Office. To the Academy, he was just a new student, but not for him.

But that's a secret.

One he'll intend to keep.

And this time, no one will break him.

Curious stares mounted the faces of every passerby student. He ignored their hungry stares that seemed to follow him everywhere he went.

He learnt it the hard way that they all wanted one thing:

Power.

Too bad he wasn't going to give them the satisfaction.

He came to a stop in front of a heavy wooden door with a posh metal disk that had the words 'Head Office' embedded onto it neatly.

Upon knocking thrice, he heard a 'Come in!' And proceeded to enter.

To say the room looked grand was an understatement. Oak and sandalwood cupboards held several glittering trophies, all from their past achievements. The floor was made of marble so polished, you could see your own reflection.

A grand looking ebony desk was placed in the center of the room, a heavily built man sitting behind it in a comfortable leather chair. Everything in the room was made as if to intimidate the person in front of it and was doing a good job unfortunately.

He'd only been here once before, the reason being the same for which he stood for today. He couldn't remember the office looking this grim. But then again, it has been quite a while since he'd been here.

The Head's eyes snapped towards him as soon as he had stepped foot into the room, sizing up the boy in front of him.

"I take it that you must be the Null that managed to top the written entrance exam?" The Head spoke, in a heavy raspy tone.

"Yes, Sir", The boy mumbled softly, He didn't want to offend the Head on his first day.

The man is an Elite after all.

The Head studied the boy carefully before saying, " Welcome to Hellion Academy, My name is Chiron and I would expect nothing but the best behaviour from you. My school is high on discipline."

The boy almost snorted but thought the better of it. Sure, he wanted to say, that's why I nearly died in the first place. A harsh reality he refrained from speaking.

Biting his tongue he nodded at Chiron.

"Good. You can pick your schedule at the front desk, it should be ready by now. Your books will be placed in your appropriate sector." Chiron continued, "Also you will be rooming with one of our finest student due to unavailable rooms. He may be a bit... displeased with it but I hope you two can get along."

Chiron almost seemed nervous about this 'finest student' and a chill went down the boy's spine. If this student had the ability to scare Chiron then he didn't want to know what he'd do to him.

Composing himself, he nodded again with a 'Yes Sir'.

Chiron's eyes softened. Looking around as if to check no one was hearing, he cast a wave of golden SoulSpirit that stretched so that he and Chiron were enclosed in a faint golden bubble.

Whatever Chiron was about to say was probably important, or else he wouldn't have cast a soundproof spell.

"I know who you are and how you came to be, boy", Chiron spoke gently.

Uneasiness went down the boy's spine. He almost considered bolting out the door before Chiron spoke again.

"Don't fret, boy. But you must understand that what you are must remain confidential at any cost. If anyone else finds out its war for me, you and perhaps the other Academies. I hope you realise this and keep your identity hidden. If you need any assistance you may come here and confide to me and no one else." He paused before saying,

"The people who found you had provided me the information in case you were wondering. A little digging had me finding out the whole thing. So tread carefully.", Chiron spoke grimly before giving him a soft gentle smile the boy thought he was incapable of.

He didn't know whether to feel threatened or comforted by the Head's words, instead he gave a short nod.

"Not much of a talker eh? Anyways, your classes start tomorrow." Chiron grumbled before dissolving the golden bubble around them and handing him a piece of paper.

"You may go now but remember," Chiron paused before adding, "Sometimes you get the best light from a burning bridge."

With another 'Yes Sir' the boy proceeded to leave through the door before Chiron's question stopped him.

"I nearly forgot to ask, apologies since I wasn't informed of it properly. What is your name again boy?"

The boy smirked, his deep ocean blue eyes with glittering specks of gold glinting in the evening light, the first emotion he'd ever displayed.

"Raphael Castways", he spoke at last before leaving behind a stunned Chiron.

This book had been lingering on my mind for quite some time. I had tons of plots and theories which I wanted to apply in this story but since I'm planning to make a series, I had to tone it down.

The story is based on a dream I had, so I guess you guys can see why its special to me.

I hope you guys can support me through this journey. I promise you, it'll be worth it :)
