Chapter 14: An Unexpected Twist Part 2

Anti boarding teams were deployed for the inner boarding parties and anti personnel turrets were deployed with space walker units on the surface of the Amora. Gunfire of energy weapons could be seen and powerful blasts destroying each side.

The main guns laid into the dreadnought, but with limited guns available. A small amount of mounted weapons were taken out on the upper section of the ship, while the remaining suffered from either power loss or ammunition was cut off from the ram.

Groups of Brasnik swarmed the halls of the Amora, crawling on all surfaces while firing small arm fire. AB teams were closing off sections of the ships, but struggling to keep other sections cleared.

The Brasnik boarding parties seem to be taking shots left and right. Swarming in like wild animals.

Suad had grapped a close range conflict rifle, an AB came to the bridge for emergency defense purposes.

"Close off section 2D entirely! Open 1A and blast them with fusion weapons! We cannot let them into the engines or fuel sections! Protect the warp drive at all cost!" Orders were coming from the Admiral like flowing water.

"Target the power on those walkers and use gravity push grenades! Close 1A and open 1D! Main cannons, focus fire on the dreadnoughts bridge!" Ordered Suad.

Fighter squadrons were flying around the dreadnought, taking out guns and boarding tubes. Ships were being shot down as fast as they could deploy.

243rd Swamer ships were trying to scan and find the power storages and ammunition depots.

Sensors were showing Devils in vents and breaching airlocks. Spacing crew members.

Space walker units of both sides had collided, hand to hand combat. Amongst the gunfire, there were fist fights, blades and staff's clashing.

Soldiers throwing others into the void of space. Only a few to be found later on.

The Admiral heard conflict outside the bridge door with gunfire.

Thudding and scratches coming from the walls.

Suad raised his rifle and readied for battle, the AB team deployed defensive barriers.

The door blew open moments later, but no shots were fired.

A set of 6 red glowing were shining through the smoke. It slowly entered the room, as it crossed the door frame the eyes got higher up.

The smoke cleared and revealed a 8ft Devil with 2 swords and 2 pistols. A lieutenant of some kind?

It let off a roar and let off some precise shots. Killed a few members of the AB team and slashing a few more. They laid shots into him, it was taking whole mags and clips to its head and body, but nothing.

As the Admiral began to fire, he pulled a blade from his side and went in from a stab.

Suad got up and close. Laying shotd into nothing but his head as Suad lunged the knife deep into the Brasnik's lower abdomen.

It didn't even flinch, it just laughed. It grabbed the Admiral and threw him into the console.

The crew on the bridge were panicing. People not trained for combat, it was expected.

The remaining members of the emergency AB team surrounded the large Brasnik and continued firing. The Brasnik wasn't even reacting as it slowly pulled the knife out and dropped it. It was covered in black blood.

Suad was frightened at the sight and quickly got up and huddled over to the closest weapon station. The 8ft Brasnik slowly approached him, it was almost to the Admiral. As it approached him, it shot the remaining AB members as it walked away from them.

It began to extend its arm towards the Adirmal, just seconds before it grabbed him. Suad grabbed something from the weapon station.

The giant picked him up and brought Suads face to its. It laughed as Suad struggled to get free.

It raised it gun to Suads head, as it was about to pull the trigger. Suad gave off a huge smile.

"Can't handle doing your own dirty work Devil?!" He shouted as he pulled out a short distance emp. Activating it and causing the Devil to fall down dead.

"This is Suad, use overcharge and EMP weaponary against the Devils boarding parties. Those who dont go down, finish off." He said as he was taking deep breaths and held parts that hurt.

The bridge crew came out from their spots.

"Sir! What the hell just happened!?" Said one of the crew members.

"Well, I found it odd that the Devils were behaving like animals and were just taking shots. So I tested a theory when i stabbed the big guy. Brasnik don't bleed black stuff, they bleed yellow goo! Plus, the Brasnik are having birth rate drops and since the last house war. They were never actually going to send real House members on a suicide mission!" He said with laugh that was cut short with a sharp pain.

"Thank Mr. Aerdon. I got that information from him. He is in fact, a Brasnik himself." He stated.

Multiple AB teams were reporting in, "we have pushed back the boarding parties! Lets get that damn dreadnought off of us!!"

Outside the window, the remaining 3 Brasnik Combat Vessels were exploding and were falling apart.

Fighters continued their birage and though the dreadnought was automated, it was giving them hell.

Suad started a diagnostic on ship sections.

"Sir? What are you doing? We got a dreadnought on us!" Asked a panicked officer.

"Yes, that's important but wanna know what's very important right now? How that fucking giant got here so directly and fast!"

At that moment a signal came through.

"This is Captain Tvankiv! I need aerial support! Multiple targets, area hot! A platoon at least! Being over run and we have multiple casualties! We have high priority information Admiral! It can link G.T.M.I. to the PA events!!!!" Screamed the comms.

"This is Lance Corporal Nubasik Aerdon, we are help up in the crashed Support ship! We are holding off a swarm and a small force of Devil Smites! Requesting support and evac! We have an important prisoner! We need immediate evac!" Screamed Nubasik on comms

The officers on the bridge started to panic again.

"Sir! Pirates are approaching the fleet in a large force and rapidly approaching!!"

Suads heart sank, 3 situations. Which to act on first?

The Brasnik's last house war had led to an all out bloodshed.

the remaining publicly known population is roughly around 10, 000. incredibly less than other races, who are all 3 Billion or more in population.

Brasnik's use an advanced breeding device for population growth, but they're quite difficult to make and obtaining the materials needed can be... dangerous?

so most of the time, in vast battles such as this. Because they can't risk such a life loss and it's cheaper to an extent. most houses use androids for combat, they been designed to appearance just like a real Brasnik with only the difference being their anatomy.
