Chapter-7

First day at Hogwarts was over and Kai was now in his room, reviewing his experience of the first day.

Kai: Not bad day, but not challenging at all, overall teaching is OK, but I'll have to get my goals straight, what I need to do till the end of first year. OK, lets make a list of goals, as I am ahead by 2 years of hogwarts curriculum, I should invest my time elsewhere, with my abilities, I'll probably breeze through yearly exams.

So, first thing - I need to do is, get marauders map. As per my knowledge, it was with twins, I don't know they have it now or will get next year, we will see. Once I get the map, I replicate it and make a better version of it.

I'll need to find Room of Requirements and use it till its limit, expand my knowledge on various subjects and train my physical and other abilities further.

Try to gain NEWT level knowledge on in subjects like charms, trans., Potions, herb.,and DADA, with highest grade i.e., Outstanding if possible.

Also try to help harry potter, subtly, OK if not then openly. Yeah that's it, I'll try to complete these goals till the end of the first year, also play along with canon characters a bit for fun.

That's it for today, now time for bed. After completing meditation, Kai decided to sleep, as new day awaits for further completion of his goals.

First week of classes were alright for Kai, as he knew plenty of it already and was just doing his best not to show off more than necessary. But he also felt eyes on him and when searched for it, it was always Daphne who was eyeing him full of curiosity. Kai although knowing this, would tease Daphne to no end and Tracy would join him and annoy her best friend more.

Kai POV

Our First class of Transfiguration was with Gryffindors, with Mcgonagall doing her best impression of an animagus tranformation. She started with how she will kick anyone out, without any proper discipline in her subject with no-nonsense attitude.

So, after quite a lecture on what the course intends, everyone was given a match for our first lesson, which was to tranfigure it in to a needle. This was too easy for me as I could in a sec, but for pretense I did it on my third try. Mcgonagall was impressed, as she came over and rewarded me with 10 points, Daphne as always trying to best me completed just after me and was rewarded with 5 points, as she looked towards me, I winked at her, she quickly looked away with a huff, but you can clearly see her blushing face,as Tracy was again at it.

Potions, sigh was quite interesting to study, with our resident stone face vampire. Professor Snape came with over enthusiastic pace while bellowing his cloak, which was cool btw and gave his introductory speech of subtle art of bottling glory and putting stopper to death, was bit dramatic but slytherins are bit dramatic bunch with sneering and sniffing around. I partnered with Daphne for the class and as it was meant for through out the year and me being me, how I could miss out this chance to tease her through out the year, giving her sly smile, seeing her turned blood red, I chuckled little, may be I am enjoying it too much, by teasing this poor girl, but I will still do it hehe!

We were told to make cure for boils, I looked for instruction once and started on it, seeing this Daphne also followed my lead. She was quite amazed as she saw me, rapidly yet precisely completing each step of listed ingredients, while working on the potion. Snape also noticed my work and nodded with satisfaction thinking, there still some hope in his house. With that we ended up first completing our potion and were rewarded with 20 points and free from homework. Daphne was happy with the work and started cleaning up the ingredients.

Daphne: Not bad Kai, I never thought you would better than me in potions as well. Guess we will have to ensure that in future also.

Kai with a teasing smile : So I am now Kai huh! Well my dear Daphne of course I am best at what I put put my heart into, so you won't have to worry about future.

Hearing this, Daphne flustered for a while and then extended her hand.

Daphne asked nervously : Um.. yeah So friends? I know we started rough but I would like to get to know you, if you don't mind me being your friend.

Kai with sincere smile: Ofcourse Daph, despite my little teasing, I always considered you my friend, infact my first friend in wizarding world, so no need to fret.

Daphne was shocked and mesmerized by seeing his sincere attitude and shook hands with him, while all this happening, certain professor and Tracy were watching this with little amusement for former and teasing material for latter.

Ofcourse, Snape knew about Malfoy incident and was shocked, but he already knew somewhere inside his mind that Kai will bring massive changes in wizarding world with his mere presence.

Last but not least flying class which was arranged on last day of the week, for which I was most excited, mind you I did fair bit of flying at the manor and kind of floating with telekinesis, but still I was excited for it.

As we were brought to open field for flying lesson, that ponce Draco started bragging about his skill, thanks to my thrashing, he stopped even looking in my direction, as us trio consisting of me, Daph and Tracy were mind our own business. Madam Hooch arrived to field, she lectured everyone on dangers of unsupervised flying for first time and made summon broom in our hands from the ground by saying UP, I simply commanded it and lifted up in my hands, seeing only I and Harry managed to do that, we were awarded with 10 points each. At the moment he noticed me, I nodded to him, surprisingly he too nodded, well that was good start atleast.

Then the longbottom scene happened and Hooch took him to hospital wing. Again the little shit paraded around with Longbottom's remembrall, Harry being a hero asked back for it. Sigh, then again that flying skirmish, where Harry thrashed that ponce as he flew quite adequately and got it back and was about get in the team as Mcgonagall arrived running at fast pace as if her new seeker would fly away and took him with her. Seeing this that ponce celebrated don't know why bloody idiot boy. At least I got to fly a little which was entertaining as Hooch was pretty impressed with my control in air and my year mates agreed with that, also enjoyed seeing the face of that blond ponce, which was like he swallowed a lemon but who cares, Daphne was also amazed while Tracey was busy cheering as class ended with bit of playing around on broom.

So, thats how pretty much all classes went. I also enjoy the hogwarts life with my friends Daphne and Tracey, occasionally Blaise too joined us in bit of fun. Time passed quickly, I also started on my goals for this year as I got familiar with hogwarts. I polished my stealth skills with disillusionment charm along with mufliato and scent erasing charm for perfect concealment, as it was time to get hands on the map from Filch's office. ( A/N: I don't know when twins got the map but for our MC i will be keeping it with filch....for the plot ofcourse, it will reach in hands of twins as he replicates it.)

Finding perfect timing, I made my way to Filch's office, I observed him a bit as was about to leave for certain time period, that's what I was waiting for. As soon as he left, I carefully made my way in his office where he kept all the confiscated things and voila I found an old piece of parchment, after inspecting it a bit, I made my way out quickly, leaving no evidence behind.
