Purchasing a plot.......i

On the central district of Silver Lake City among the many aboriginals of Legacy Land and the human,two distinctive figures could be seen walking towards the City Hall.

The man was clad in an exquisite purple robe that scream of opulence and nobility, the robe had a hood that covered his face preventing the numerous players from identifying him.

Behind him was a beautiful elven girl,that had a heaven shattering smile plastered on her face.

The smile was different from what she had several minutes ago when her master offered her to his Lordship as a gift and sign of goodwill in exchange for a permit to build a shop in his territory.

At that time,her face had morphed into a horrific one as she could tell from his Lordship's gaze at her that she was going to face hell the moment she became his.

Unexpectedly,the two ladies were in for a surprise, for when Wanjiru received the elven attendant blood contract,he tore it into pieces setting her free.

Wanjiru saw the puzzled look on the two ladies face and decided to shed off his acting.

The evil grin plastered on face vanished as a proud serious face took over.

"From now on, you work for me...."

He had paused as he took a big bite of his cupcake, leaving the ladies in suspense.

"I was impressed by how skilled and professional you are....."

"Thank..... you... your Lordship...."

The elven attendant said while bowing as she stammered.

Wanjiru watched as Madam Pearl tried hard to hide the furry from her eyes. She mentally cursed him for playing her once more.

She realized that Wanjiru's intentions were to acquiring her elven attendant apprentice for his own business gains, and by him tearing the blood contract before her was a clear message for her and her people not to even dare think of using the elven attendant as their eyes and ears into his business.

"Am planning on starting a shop and a restaurant here in Silver Lake City and you shall be in charge of both."

"Thank you your Lordship....."

He shook his head to acknowledge her bow.

"Prove yourself worthy and I will place you in charge of all my shops and restaurant in every City...."

A ting of jealousy had crossed Madam Pearl's mind as she realized that her apprentice was going to surpass her,her mentor.

Wanjiru was mesmerized by the humongous size of the administration hall,he calculated that the inside was at least several times larger than the building seemed to be on the outside.

Seen his Lordship stunned,the elven attendant cleared her throat.

"My Lord...."

"Am fine Vicky..."'

Looking around,he wondered on where to begin when a young beauty with porcelain skin approached them. She was clad in a dark blue body clinging dress that did nothing to hide her curvaceous figure.

Wanjiru could see the men in the hall openly ogling while some ladies sent her envious gazes.

"Your Lordship...."she greeted with a bow,"this lowly one is at your service..."

He could detect a bit of fear and nervousness from her voice.

"Then I will have to trouble you..." Wanjiru said as he acknowledged her bow.

"Am here to purchase a plot of land and regester a guild..."

"It no trouble your Lordship...."the porcelain skinned attendant said with a bow as she quickly calculated her commission from the sale of the plot of land.

Even though the land would be sold at a fifty percent discount,she will still receive the full commission.

"Your Lordship,the department of land is the one in charge of selling, leasing and distribution of land....but your Lordship doesn't have to visit the department building since all the departments have been allocated a chamber in here."

Wanjiru was first embarrassed but having learnt he won't have to visit the department of lands,he decided to save his face....

"If I hadn't known each department has a chamber in here....do you think I would have told you I wanted to purchase a plot of land....?"

There was an underlying tone of anger that made the attendant shiver in fear.

She only hoped that the Baron won't pursue the matter with her superiors because she really needed money for her younger sibling medication.

Seeing the fear in her eyes, he put on a kind smile....

"Luckily for you....am not a petty person...."

"Thank you your Lordship....."the attendant said with a bow as a sigh of relief escaped her.

Vicky, the elven attendant,having experienced his Lordship thick skin and cunningness first hand, could only bow in shame.

The porcelain skinned attendant quickly collected herself...."if you may follow me your Lordship...."

She wasn't fazed by the numerous guys still ogling at her as she led Wanjiru and Vicky towards the flight of stairs at the end of the hall.

"All department chambers are on the second floor...." the attendant explained as they ascended the stairs.

The second floor was much smaller compared to the ground floor....the attendant felt a need to explain the unique phenomenal to the two,but remembering her earlier experience, she chose to keep her mouth shut.

"We are here your Lordship..." she announced as she knocked on a black iron wood door before pushing it open.

Wanjiru was impressed by her strength since black iron wood was heavier than the rest of the uncommon grade wood.

The chamber wasn't that big or lavishly decorated. What caught Wanjiru's eyes was a big canvas map of the whole Silver Lake City and its surroundings.

The paths and roads to the other cities,towns and villages were well mapped. Wanjiru quickly pulled out his panel and navigated at his menu tab where he pressed on the camera icon and captured several photos of the map.

He knew that this was a god sent opportunity and he was not planning on wasting it,for he had discovered apart from human villages,there were several outlander villages and he planned on pillaging them all for resources and captives as to increase his settlement population.

"This old one greets his Lordship...." an old haggard voice pulled him out of his train of thoughts.

"Old one... there's no need for you to bow, what if your bones break?"

Wanjiru said as he lifted the old man and at the same time acknowledging his greetings.

The old man was surprised that the noble before him wasn't arrogant like the rest but kind and had a sence of humor.
