Peach Tavern....

The guards at the gate weren't surprised when they saw Wanjiru return with an already approved badge and his status raised to commoner. It seemed they were used to this.

This clearly indicated to Wanjiru that there was no difference between earth and the Legacy Land. In both world's, corruption was rampant.

Though this was a good thing for Wanjiru,in future if he didn't address it,it would bring about unwanted variables. But for now,he pushed it at the back of his mind as he srode into the city.

The city was one directly out of a western history book. From the building structures to the pavement, everything screamnt western influence.

The path were paved with stones and flowers grew at the sides. The city was large and clean but this didn't attract Wanjiru.

He knew he had to act fast and the only set back he was facing was lack of information.

He looked around for the last time before heading to the western side of the city where the barrack was. His destination wasn't the barracks but the slum next to it.

As he had expected, the slums were just as he envisioned. Poorly arranged shacks, litter and human waste filled every corner. The drainage here was clogged and the dirty sewer filled the potholed worn out pavements.

The air of poverty permeated the area as malnourished children clad in practically nothing loitered the streets.

Wanjiru could see a few prostitutes here and there and also several young men staring at him. If he hadn't early on pocketed his storage ring, these men would have accosted him.

Wanjiru quickly walked into the first tavern that met his eye.

The curved sign above the tavern led Peach Tavern. The bell above the tavern rang announcing his arrival. Before he had walked in,the place had been so noisy that he practically had everything the patrons were talking off,but the moment he walked in,the place was dead silent as all eyes landed on him.

Wanjiru had been to numerous taverns, mostly were in games so he knew how to act in a tavern. He scanned at the patrons with a straight face before sneering and walking towards the counter.

"Knock me out..."he said to the barman, who grinned at him before filling a large wooden mug and offered it to him.

Wanjiru didn't even blink as he quickly grabbed the mug before pouring all it's content down his gut in one go.

Wiping his mouth,he banged the mug on the counter and wiping his mouth,he grinned at the barman and ordered him to refill it.

When the patrons saw his act, they knew that he was a regular and not some newby.

Wanjiru spinner on his high stool and scanned the crowd. His eyes landed on a curvy prostitute who had her eyes on him.

Wanjiru ignored her and headed to a corner where a two men table was placed. This corner wasn't blitly lit.The waitress walked over, she carried a bowl with her.

Smashing the bowl on the table, she stretched her hand waiting for the pay. Wanjiru wasn't astonished by her lack of hospitality, was he couldn't get straight was why she brought her a meal instead of a menu first.

The waitress seeing the confused look in Wanjiru's eyes, she coldly harrumph.

"That all we have...now pay me"she coldly said.

"Wanjiru was angered by her coldness but he held back.

"What if I don't want the food?"

"I already brought you the food,it cost three copper coins."

Wanjiru gave up and paid the before staring at the mixture of potatoes and God knows what meat and some vegetables.

He pushed the meal aside as he observed the curvy prostitute walk towards him. She had a flirting look in her eyes. Her movement was seductive but this did nothing to Wanjiru.

She walked up to his table and gave herself a seat. Wanjiru just stared at her as she slowly raised her leg under the table and rubbed it against Wanjiru's.

"Hello, handsome..."her voice was enchanting but nothing she did moved Wanjiru.

"Seems you aren't hungry, mind me having a bite of your food?"

Even before could reply, she was already on her third mouthful.

"Holy cow!"Wanjiru exclaimed inwardly.

"She sure is a beast and not a beauty..."

Wanjiru thought as he watched her gobbled down his meal in amere seconds.

"That was satisfying..."she said as she seductively smiled at him,"want to know what else is satisfying...?"she asked as she blinked at Wanjiru, her tongue seductively licking her full tomato red lips as she slowly bowed to expose the cleavage between her humongous watermelons.

"Information."Wanjiru replied to her.

Knowing what he sought after, she sat straight and curiously looked at him.

"How much?"she asked looking him straight in the eyes.

"How much do you know?"Wanjiru didn't directly answer her.

"A little.."

From her reply, Wanjiru knew that he would just waste time if he didn't choose to be direct. He sighed and looking at her,he took out a hundred copper coins and handed them to her under the table.

"Poison, both slow and fast acting with no smell."

She didn't answer him because from his look, she could see he wasn't done.

"A thousand silver grade weapons and a thousand sets of Blue grade armor."

Wanjiru watched as her face distorted from shock as he could tell that she was truly fighting back her shock, the quantity and grade of what he wanted was close to impossibility.

She knew that even the black market couldn't fullfil such a large order.

In her mind, she wondered why he needed so many weapons. She quickly felt her poach that was a hundred copper coins richer and couldn't help but be pained by the idea of refunding the money.

Wanjiru gave her time to process what he wanted.

She was about to hand back the money when the door bell rang announcing a new arrival.

When her eyes fell on the new arrival,a wide smile appeared on her face. She pulled out six bottles filled with pills from her storage ring and handed them over to her client.

Receiving the bottles, Wanjiru read their description.

<Yellow Rat Pills>An odourless slow acting poison.

Grade:2 Star

<Lightning Cobra Pills>An odourless fast acting poison.

Grade:2 Star

Wanjiru stored the bottles in his storage ring as he mentally ticked on his imaginary list.

"Next..."he said to her with a hopefull look.

"Well, that would be quite difficult...."she stummered as she sent her gaze toward the new arrival,a huge masculine man that resembled a blacksmith.

Wanjiru took note of her wording and her gaze and even before she could tell him,he knew acquiring the weapons and armor would be troublesome.
