Chapter 9

"It's you." He breathed out his voice full of surprise. "Why'd you bring me here?"

"I wanted to see you again."

"See me again? Last time I saw you you crushed my heart." Kylo turned away from her.

"But it was a mistake. I didn't mean to —"

"What do you even mean?"

"I —"

"I was crushed!"

"I'm sorry but —"

"But what? What can you possibly say to make this better? I liked you! You broke my heart when I thought you returned the feelings!"

"Ben I —"

"The name is Kylo now, Ben is gone and I have no intention of bringing him back."

"Just listen!"

"I'm sorry Katherine but things change."

"I'm sorry okay?"

He turned to face her. "Isn't it too late for that?"

She looked at him once again, her bright green eyes pleading.

"I'm sorry. Now if you can excuse me, I have class to get back to."

"Ben!"

He didn't say anything instead he continued walking.

"Ben!" She ran after him.

He turned around and faced her once again. "I'm sorry but it's too late." Katherine put a hand on his shoulder. "Ben I just want another chance,"

He looked away and spotted Hux and Rey down the hall talking and having a good time.

"I'll think about it." Kylo gave her a small smile before walking away.He might as well give Katherine a chance, even as much as he doesn't like her, it'll distract him from the one he does like.
