Chapter 87: *Knock Knock* Amazon Delivery! (Part 1)

"I will drop you off at your parents' house instead. Shield is monitoring our place, so wait for me to come back before we face them."

The X-wing spaceship is flown back to Earth. The snake guys are cramped in the storage areas while the kids' hibernation chamber is staked up 3x5. There is barely any space to move on the small ship with this many passengers.

"How long will it take you to deliver them to their home?" Gwen asks. They have arrived at the hangar of the island base. Ryan is checking the coordinates of their home based on the data from the spaceship wreckage.

"2 days. 3 days max if I don't encounter any trouble," He is reading the star maps of the galaxy and comes out with a rough calculation. Gwen hasn't learned yet to read the star maps, so she just nods and trusts Ryan.

He can return earlier if he just chucks all the responsibilities on Xandar, but there are some kids from a reclusive civilization, like the horse face kid and the Skrull. Gwen asks him to deliver them safely, so he has to make some pit stops.

While he is talking to Gwen, Dawn teleports into the hangar. "You need to leave quickly. Hela notices you when you fly in. She is coming here right now."

"Oh shit!" Ryan kissed Gwen all over and said. "Wait for me! Our vacation is still not over. You owe me another 3 weeks."

"Then you better hurry up to come back," she waved him goodbye.

Ryan jumped into the spaceship and flew away. 2 seconds later, Hela arrived. He is safe now.

"Where is he?" Hela asks Dawn. Gwen is already teleported to her parent's house with the luggage.

"Where is who?" Dawn asks, puzzled.

"Don't lie to me, Dawn. I saw his ship come in. He promised to fix it for me weeks ago! I will kill him if he takes any longer!" Hela said angrily.

Gwen arrives at her parent's house. It is nighttime so both of them are at home. Helen is very shocked to see Gwen is back late at night with full luggage with her.

"What happened? Did you break up with Ryan?"

"What? No! Something came up during our trip so I am back before he does."

George stands up from the sofa to see the commotion at the front door.

"What's going on Gwen? Did you break up?" His eyes glanced at Gwen's hand. It is very subtle that no one caught it.

"Nooo!"

She explained a bit of what happened. She did cover up the alien as some ordinary smuggler and all the things that happen on Earth, not galaxy troubles.

"So that's why. I thought I won't see you for a month." George finally understands it. He and Gwen are sitting at the dinner table. Helen is cooking up some food even when Gwen told her she is not hungry.

"How did you know we will take a month?" Gwen asks. It is very suspicious. She knows she just told them about a trip, not how long it's going to take.

"Oh, that… Ryan told me…" George answered suspiciously. Before the trip, Ryan has come to talk to him about something. It is a secret between the two men. Gwen narrowed her eyes at George.

When Gwen goes to sleep that day, George couldn't stop smiling. "Too bad for you huh Ryan. I told you one month is too long even when you want to re-enact the moment you first ask her out. Now you wasted your shot. Hahaha!" He guffawed loudly.

"Keep it down George! You will wake up the kids!" Helen yelled from the bedroom. 'How dare he laughs at my son-in-law's misery. He will get it later!' Helen vows in her heart.

In Space. A white ship with X-wings is flying through the galaxy. "This is too cramped up…" Ryan mumbles.

He had smushed together all the big alien snakes to his prison cell. The snakes seem to be sleeping right now. On their head, there is a blue headband wrapped around it.

In the cargo area, the space is overloaded. He can keep only 12 aliens in hibernation. "If I wake some of them up, I can store the hibernation bed in the storage ring."

The question is, should he wake them up?

"Let's wait till we are far from the earth before I do it." He is pretty excited. This is the first time he is going to use the jump point. Even when Dawn went to Niflheim he didn't use the jump point.

"Tew Tebe Tew Tew tetew" He is mouthing some melody with his mouth. Red Queen notices the song he is mouthing, and she plays the bgm for the trip.

"Nice RQ." He goes through the hexagon-shaped wormhole to get to another part of the galaxy. His vision is narrowed. The bright dot of the star becomes a long line. He can feel some pressure on his body, but it is manageable.

"It's like tripping. Not that I have ever had LSD before." His pupil is dilated. He was too good of a kid in this life to get offered something bad. The peer pressure doesn't get to him as he has no friends.

*Swoosh* The spaceship appeared on the other side of the universe. He takes a moment to collect himself. "Damn, that was awesome!"

The feeling is similar to when he first apparated. Ryan let R.Q take control while he goes to check the ship. The overloading has caused some stress on the ship, so he has to make some arrangements before he continues his journey.

"I still have the original Mandalorian armor in the inventory thanks to RedWidow." He takes out the armor with blaster marks, an old metal that hasn't been renewed, and a helmet with a T-shaped visor on it.

He wears it to perfectly get into the role of the best bounty hunter in the universe. After checking himself in the mirror, he wonders why he is like this. He decided to push the thought to the back of his mind and never revisit it. "This is the way", he says to himself.

Jay, a female Krylorian with a Bob cut hair and barely wearing any clothes, is still sleeping in the hibernation pod at the time. The last thing she remembers is that her bone is broken by the captain of the ship.

She and her two female kinds used to be alcohol servers aboard an entertainment ship with casino and whores, that were razed to the ground by the snakes. She was tortured for months by the Snark alien while they are getting excited.

*Pshh* Her hibernation pod is shut down. The door to the capsule is opened. She likes sleeping there. Being awake is more of a nightmare than actually having one. Now that her dream is interrupted, she knows that it is for another session of torture.

However, she thought wrong. The sight that she sees when she wakes up at the time isn't an ugly oversized lizard. Instead, she sees a lone man, or she thought he is a man. He wears armor that shows traces of battle from his life.

She hears a rough voice that is a little muffled and robotic. He must have said it through the communicator in the armor.

"Can you walk?" He asks the sleeping girl. He wonders if there is any side effect of sleeping for a long time.

All the times when she wakes up, she is yanked violently from the sleeping pod and taken to the captain's room. She observed that the spaceship isn't the same one. She is vigilantly looking around to see other people, but there is only one man there.

Ryan ignored the girl who is processing the situation. He goes to wake up the other two. Arina and Deet, both have long hair tied up in twin-tail for the entertainment of the guest who is disrupted from their sleep. They wake up in fear of another day outside their dream.

"Who are you?" Jay asks. She is only standing with one leg as the ankle on another is busted. A glimmer of hope bloomed inside her heart, for the man told her the nightmare is over.

"I am the Mandalorian. Are you hurt?" Ryan asks in a monotonous tone, but it was the most beautiful thing Jay and the other girl has heard. He is not one of the Snarks!

Deet starts to cry. She can't stand up right now. All of her bones in the lower body are broken. Her pink leg is almost purple from the bruises. They thought the Mando will give them a moment to cheer, but he cut them off before they could get to it.

"All of you. Follow me," Ryan said while leading them someplace. Before that, he needs to do one thing. He opens the hangar bay! The girl is shocked. They will die if they are sucked into the other space!

But no such thing happens. Ryan kicks out the useless hibernation chamber from the ship, freeing up some space. Right now, they are hovering in the atmosphere of a dead planet. The energy shield couldn't withstand it if the hangar door is opened in outer space, but it has no problem regulating the air if they are on a planet.

"No room on the ship," Ryan explained in little words to the girls. He is keeping the Mandalorian trait of speaking only when necessary. It will avoid him so much hassle on the trip.

The pink alien girl nods. He might be different from the Snarks, but he is dangerous. They need to follow his order for now, even when he makes them walk with a busted leg. Jay and Arina support Deet with their one good leg and follow the man to another room. There is a single white chair in the room.

"Sit her down," Ryan ordered. The girl complied with his request. After Deet has sat down, the chair is raised a bit higher and leaned backward. Deet is almost lying down in the chair. Blue laser light is scanning her entire body from the equipment above the chair.

[Condition: Severe. Multiple broken bones. Bruises in the internal organ. Bleeding in the brain fold from extreme stress. Remaining Lifespan: 3 days.]

The computerized voice of the MediQuick, invented by Ryan to get an initial assessment is explaining the girl's condition. Equipped with the universal translator, the girls understand the prognosis of the machine.

"Noo, Deet… noo!" Arina sobs near the patient's chair. Jay cursed their fate. Even when free, they couldn't survive.

"How long will it take?" The Mando suddenly asks. The question makes the girls there a little puzzled amidst their sadness.

[3 hours to fix the bone. 5 hours to fix the brain. A limited-type medical compound is needed for the surgery. Proceed? ]

"Yes." He let the MediQuick do its job. He goes to the bridge of the ship to commandeer it after he pointed to Arina and Jay and says. "Next. Afterward."

The girl is stunned. Ryan left the medical room. It will take a few hours for them to reach the first civilization to deliver one kid. "(sigh)" This is taking too much time. He wants to get back soon.

In the medical room. Arina starts to ask Jay.

Both the work is done at the same time. It took only 5 hours total to fix up Deet. Arina and Jay are worried at first, but then they saw the color on Deet's leg turn pink from the purple color. The bones are healing themselves.

When the surgery is done, MediQuick makes another assessment.

[Condition: Malnourish. Cold. Request energy tube from the Captain to fix it. Change wardrobe to warmer clothing. ]

Deet wakes up feeling healthier than ever. The danger has passed! She is now healed! She hugged Jay and Arina the moment she can stand with her leg.

Arina went next. Her prognosis is a lot better than Deet's. It only took 1 hour to fix up her left leg and bruised organ. She didn't need surgery on her brain.

The last one to be fixed up is Jay. She sat on the white chair. The MediQuick is getting her prognosis. Other than the broken bones, she has one unique prognosis.

[Hereditary disease detected. Do you want to fix it?] She has a disease that causes her to have difficulty breathing sometimes. It is similar to asthma in humans. The girl is puzzled about how to proceed when the MediQuick suddenly confirmed the order.

[Order received by the captain. Fix the Hereditary disease. The time needed: 1 hour]

Ryan has always monitored the medical room for any unexpected situation. He decided to test out his machine if it can fix up an alien body. He also felt bad about their time on the Snark spaceship.

While the girls are healing, he arrived in the vicinity of the first civilization. "The Kymellian"

A horse-type bipedal humanoid. The technologically advanced alien has destroyed their home planet by experimenting with dark matter. They are now staying on an artificial planet called the Kymellia 2.

Ryan got a transmission when he entered the vicinity of the planet. "Stop, Identify yourself." A purple horse is speaking with the Mandalorian with holochat.

"Mandalorian. The purpose is delivery." Ryan cut short the meeting. The Kymellian border guard is confirming the situation. The Kymellian is a reclusive race, but they are not strange to the matter of the galaxy.

"What is your delivery?"

"A child taken by the Zn'rx."

After confirming, the border guard allows Ryan to land on their spaceship port. He docked the small spaceship and goes out with the floating hibernation chamber of the child.

"Thank you, warrior. May I ask what happened to the Zn'rx?" Ryan is greeted by the guards and a person from the technocrat.

"Inside. Will be taken to Xandar for bounty" He let go of the child to the care of its people. He wants to return to the ship but he hears a yell coming from his back.

"Halt. The Zn'rx is our race's mortal enemy. They should be handed over to us." The guard says calmly. They don't want a confrontation. It is their last resort.

"They are war criminals. Their sin will be judged by the victims." Ryan said.

Tension suddenly built around the party as there is a conflict of interest.

"Of course, the same value as the bounty will make me reconsider." He hasn't taken any bounty quest from Xandar yet. The Kymellian nods. This is a behavior of a bounty hunter.

"What is your name warrior?"

"I am the Mandalorian."

They come to an agreement. There are a lot of these snakes, so Ryan gives 10 snakes to them. The highest value snake such as the captain will be brought to Xandar. The Kymellian awarded Ryan with some unique ore and some weapons. The situation is defused easily.

Kymelian isn't a hot-headed race. Instead, they follow technological theocracy. All action is by logic.

When King Black Bolt makes the inhuman civilization on another planet, the Kymelian offered their technology to Black Bolt, along with a bride. They know they won't be able to fight Black Bolt and the Inhuman, so they join them.

Ryan and the horse-people split up in a good way. The Kymellian ask Ryan when they see the headband on the snake's head.

"What is this?"

"Torture"

The device can make 1 minute seems like a year on the snake's mind. It also amplified their pain. Ryan had stabbed a toothpick all over the snake's body exactly 100 times. The pain will be amplified and the snake will feel its body being stabbed by 100 spears at the same time. They couldn't even go insane as the device will detect it. He takes the device off before he gives the Snarks to the horse. When they wake up, all they will wish for is death.

The Kymellian invited Ryan to dinner, but he declined them. He still has a lot of things to do. The X-wing spaceship quickly exited the planet's atmosphere.

"Why are you looking for me, foul creature?"

The snake is turning their attention to Loki. "Die you, coward!" They begin shooting at Loki without warning.

His eyes widened. He jumped to the back of the bar and take cover. 'Who are they?'

The fighting causes the customer to flee from the bar. Loki is not a sitting duck. He fought back and easily defeated the snakes. He kills them and spares one.

"The Zn'rx will make sure to kill you. The Cowardly Loki who only hides behind a woman!" The surviving Snarks cursed at Loki.

"Who dares slander my name!" Loki is extremely angry. Someone in the universe is using his name! This is not the first time he has been slandered. Before this, he was slandered as a child molester.

"Interesting fight. You have the potential to be children of Thanos." A voice sounded from Loki's back. He turns to the source of the voice calmly. He never thought he will meet them this fast. He ought to be thankful for the one who slanders him. 'As if'
