Harry Potter: World on Fire

A studious boy meets a tragic end at the hands of the infamous Truck-Kun. But is it truly the end? Or just the beginning of something more? Reborn into the most secretive and ancient family of wizards, the Pendragons, he becomes the last heir to a lineage that has wielded magic since the dawn of wizardry itself. Far stronger than the sacred Twenty-Eight, their unparalleled power has drawn the envy and wrath of rivals, reducing the once-mighty family to rubble. Stripped of his birthright and adopted by a muggle family, the young Pendragon bides his time, concealing his true identity. But now, the time has come for his awakening. The world will tremble under the reign of the Lord of Fire as he reclaims his legacy and unleashes his fury upon those who betrayed his family. Devastation follows the dragon. His shadow will be the last thing they see. discord: https://discord.gg/ZexRV5gqu9 I don't own any of the characters except OC's I just like to play in J.K Rowling's world :) Just started writing novels so please be patient as I get better over time. I do not own the cover of this novel, credit goes to: Joshua Raphael on Artstation. IF the artist wishes for me to take this down, please leave a message! Otherwise, please check his art out, its amazing. Before you start reading the reviews I advise you to read for yourself first, positive or negative reviews might give you a wrong pre based idea on the story, many great stories on this website have horrible reviews and many poor stories have positive ones, you are the judge of your choice don't let others make you refuse a story just because their opinion of it is different of yours. Happy reading :)

Quidditch match part 2

The game continued and with it the constant clash between the two teams. It wasn't like the movie though, no-no that was just barbaric and broke like 20 rules in the span of a match. Naturally, they were all broken by Slytherin. In the movie, they took out the Gryffindor goalkeeper which is an illegal move and would be severely punished. Then there was Angelina Johnson and her Wipeout when Slytherin cornered her into one of the towers which should have been an immediate end to the game.

No, this version was much tamer. Sure, the Slytherin team was very brutal, but it was mostly within the rules since the game didn't stop every second due to a breach of rules. There were moments when they did break them, and Gryffindor took the advantage.

I finally realised how good Gryffindor really was. I read somewhere that Gryffindor had not seen last place for over 200 years which baffled me and Hermione to no end. But when you think about Hufflepuff, I would just expel myself from the school if I lost to them. They were simply trash.

The game went on and with it the scoring from both sides, Gryffindor held a safe lead, and you could just see Harry floating about looking for the snitch to no avail. I shook my head in disappointment when I heard Drak speak.

[funny old man, seems he can't help but stick his wrinkly old fingers into everything,] said Drak with a chuckle. Drak had been going through my memories as a pass time, he essentially spent all of his time watching the movies I saw which were quite a few. He had naturally seen all of the Harry Potter movies which he liked a lot.

He wouldn't shut up about Ron's idiocy and how comparable this worlds Ron was to the movie one. But I didn't get what he meant with his spontaneous sentence. [What I'm saying is that our seemingly lovely headmaster is actually tampering with the snitch. Look, it's just sticking to him like a gold digger to a rich man,] said Drak with a rather colourful comparison.

I looked towards where Harry was flying about with much more purpose as he chased the golden snitch which had lost most of its erratic behaviour. I involuntarily smiled. "Cheeky old fucker, do you have sticky fingers or something?" I questioned with a mumble. I looked up towards the tower Dumbledore was in and shook my head.

Hermione turned to me with a questioning look, I thought about not telling her but who cares. I explained what Drak said but as my observation. Hermione was surprised and sceptical of my words and looked towards the snitch with her binoculars. Her facial expression changed slightly and before long lowered her binoculars and looked at me with astonishment.

"H-How did you know?" she asked. I smiled, "well it's simple, over the course of the year so far there have been incidents that should, under normal circumstances raise eyebrows but didn't. One, Harry being named the seeker for Gryffindor is very suspicious no matter the talent shown. Professor McGonagall wouldn't be that forgiving so the only option is Dumbledore. Just because he flew a broom once shouldn't automatically make him a seeker of a house.

Two, being let off after the troll incident, there should be no excuse available to justify why they were there, yet he and Ron were given the lightest punishment available. Overall, I can safely assume that Dumbledore has some good relationship or at the very least good impression of Mr Potter to justify his actions," I said pretending to be analysing the facts.

In truth, it would make no sense to tell her about Dumbledore's plans for Harry since I have no credible source to explain how I got that information. Hermione listened and pondered with the iconic hand on her chin she did when she was deep in thought. Just as we were talking, we heard the students gasp which drew our attention. What else could it be, Harry had lost complete control over his broom. Well, that's what everyone else was saying but naturally, I looked over to see Quirrell mumbling a chant.

Not long after I spotted Snape mumbling something as well which seemed to balance out the situation. Ron was losing it at the sight of his friend in danger and asked Hagrid about what was happening. Hermione lifted her head to look and saw what was going on. Her expression changed as she looked over at me.

I calmly looked at the entire situation not bothering to do anything. I would only interfere if Hermione failed to spot the cause. "What do you think is happening?" I asked. "Clearly Harry has lost control over his broom," responded Hermione with certainty. "Is that so…?" I said dragging out the "so". She looked at me in puzzlement before lifting her binoculars to look at Harry.

It just so happened that Harry was right in front of where Snape and Quirrell were. I saw the expression on Hermione change before sharply turning towards me. I grinned knowingly which seemed to have confirmed Hermione's suspicions.

"I'll go stop it; it seems that Snape is jinxing Harry's broom," said Hermione while getting up. "I'll be waiting, be careful," I added not attempting to stop her from leaving. She looked at me in puzzlement, "aren't you going to stop me or come with me?" she asked. I shook my head.

"What's the point of stopping you? You are more than capable of doing it yourself, this leads me to your second point, seeing that you are more than capable why would I need to go?" I summarised quickly. I could see the surprise in her gaze before leaving. I chuckled lightly and continued to watch the show.

I watched on with interest, my only regret is not having a spell to summon popcorn. Maybe I could come up with it, I thought as an epiphany hit me. I laughed which caught the attention of some who began to give me reproachful looks. I simply ignored it; they wouldn't listen even if I explained, nor do I have the energy to do so either.

Hermione was more than capable of doing this herself and I really can't be fucked fixing Harry's issues for him unless he is in a life and death situation. I can't have that since it would bring a big headache for me. Having Voldy baldy's attention not being focalised on Harry could bring devastating changes to the timeline. I had a line I would not cross until I had enough power, once I did though, Harry could die for all I care.

Drak's power is enough to burn through entire cities in a matter of minutes. A shitty wizard such as Voldemort can only be seen as a lamb to the slaughter. The reason was simple, people had forgotten the weakness of the pendragon family, combined with the family being supposedly wiped out gave me the surprise factor I needed. But that is too far into the future for me to be thinking about now.
