Harry Potter: Winchester Chronicles

This is an original fic, as I couldn't find a better novel to translate so I figured why not write one myself. The world still revolves around the Harry Potter series but with original and extra plot added to it to not make things boring. P.S. This is not related to the TV series Supernatural, apart from slight inspiration for a couple of things. --------------------- "Voldermort? Who? Can't you see me fighting a literal Demon?" "Why do I have to kill all these monsters to be a wizard? I don't know it's a family tradition" "What do you mean, 'Why is Harry so buff?' How else is he supposed to fight the noseless demon?" Luke woke up in a body belonging to the youngest member of the last Winchester Family, during a 'exorcism' at that. Discovering that he had transmigrated to the Harry Potter world, dreaming of a magical future, he still couldn't fathom why there were so many inconsistencies in the plot. Not to mention his new family and his father's mysterious and weird actions, but why are there so many monsters and villains hatching a new plot every single day in this children's fiction? ---------- https://www.patreon.com/The_disciple ---------- https://www.royalroad.com/profile/481960 I will be posting this story on RoyalRoad.com

Wandless magic pt.1

"You're one crazy idiot!" Jacob shouted at Luke, who was busy cleaning himself up, "Who'd have thought you would go all out like that!"

"Can you shut it!" Luke yelled back, "Why are you the one that's impressed with this!"

"Because I saw something I would've never even thought of trying! My nerd of a brother came up with an attack, which even I didn't know was possible!" Jacob continued with the excitement of a ten-year-old, "What are you going to name the move? Fiery Punches? Explosive punch?"

"I don't care!" Luke said but Jacob continued with names for the move,

"Wait I got it! Erumpent's punch!" Jacob continued, "A punch filled with the might of a crazy Erumpent! But we would need to change the designs quite a bit!"

Luke came out of the shower staring at Jacob who was rummaging through his desk for a paper and a pen, "What are you seriously doing?"

Jacob focused on what he was doing and then looked back at him showing him what he had just created, "What do you think of this design?"

"It has a long sleeve design for the gloves, to protect yourself even further, a round barrel filled with the potion that'll be made up of the same material as the glove, a bit above the arm which will let out drops of the potion on the knuckle of the gloves!" Jacob ranted on for what seemed to be the longest Luke had ever heard him talk without insulting him, "Maybe we should add something else to protect the fist further, maybe some metal lining around the knuckle?"

"It looks cool I guess!" Luke said not sure of what else to say, "I didn't take you for a designer,"

"Brother, you still don't get it, for us physical types anything that could boost our strength or be some flashy attack is something to be excited about! It's not like magic where we have hundreds of spells or runes to begin with!" Jacob explained.

"I see!" Luke nodded seeing his point, "Then why don't you increase the potion output for a bigger explosion rather than just a drop!"

"What? I am not loose in the head like you," Jacob said making the most punchable face imaginable, "If Dad hadn't protected you with his spell, do you think your arms would still be intact as of now?"

"What?" Luke gulped unsure of whether Jacob was joking or not, "Was it that serious?"

"It was concentrated Erumpent potion, that we used to blow up a literal metal door which was thicker than a brick, and all we needed was around 10 drops of it." Jacob continued, "Why do you think I am the one here excited about this and not Ethan"

"Does that mean?"

"Oh yeah! Definitely! You're going to get the lecture of a lifetime from your dear older brother!" Jacob snickered.

Michael and Ethan walked up to his office, closing the door behind them. Ethan sat in the chair without saying anything and Michael walked over to the other side of the office, using a spell, he took out his wand casting a spell as a cabinet filled with several potions came out of the side of the wall.

Taking a particular potion out of the cabinet which had a skull as its bottle cap, Michael walked over to his desk chugging it down.

"Skele-Gro?" Ethan asked, "I am guessing, you broke your bone earlier are you sure there aren't any other internal injuries?"

"I am fine!" Michael said with a sour face, "After a couple of centuries, you would figure they would make the potion at least taste better."

Ethan who had noticed what occurred during the 'test' knew that Michael had concentrated most of his magic to protect Luke, so even though his clothes seemed fine due to their resistant nature towards most spells including fire, the impact of the blast had certainly cost him some internal wounds.

It was also the reason why Ethan's attitude was currently calm compared to before, with Michael seemingly keen on protecting Luke to such a degree meant that he had less to worry about.

"The Potters could've made a fortune with the potion at least by refining it further." Michael shook his head, "Too bad, the main family seems to have died off."

"Aren't you forgetting about the boy who lived?" Ethan shrugged, "He could always reclaim his position and maybe refine it further. From what I remember he should be the same age as our Luke."

"The boy who lived, huh?" Michael shook his head leaning back on his chair, "Such a preposterous title, given to someone who wasn't even old enough to talk yet. Not to mention, there are still descendants of Potter alive, that cocky bastard should still be croaking and they don't plan on doing jack, all they wanna do is be Aurors and run around..."

"You disagree with the title?" Ethan narrowed his eyes wondering what his father was getting at with the talk of another family,

"Of course, I do. It's nothing more than a ploy to distract people from the fact that, Voldemort, that vile creature is still alive. Using a young boy as just a means, a tool to give people some hope." Michael nodded, "It's sickening to see those old bastards and arrogant wizards using a child for their own peace of mind."

"It's not like you to be sentimental, let alone regarding children of another family, so let's cut to the chase," Ethan asked, "What do you really want to talk about?"

"What do you think of your brother?" Michael asked in return,

"Luke? He's talented and smart, I can't say much for his talent in magic yet, but from what I've seen so far, I don't think there's any need to doubt his future." Ethan said, "After all, I believe he should have a better prospect advancing in mana, than physical magic. Although what he did today was nothing short of just reckless behavior, with enough education he shouldn't make such mistakes as today"

"Recklessness is what keeps us alive," Michael said, "I did think that he had better prospects with mana as well, but..."

"I've decided differently, a completely different path for him should be much more fitting." Ethan narrowed his eyes as Michael continued, "If anyone could do it, I believe it's him."

"We don't know what he's capable of as of yet!" Ethan tried to argue but Michael just shook his head,

"You do know about your mother, don't you?" Michael asked, "Your mother was a Veela, a pure one at that."

"What's your point!"

"Your mother was the most beautiful woman that I'd ever know, of course, that's to be expected of a Veela, but even amongst them your mother stood out from the rest." Michael continued reminiscing about his late wife, "Even her beautiful golden hair..."

"You more than Jacob, I am sure you remember..." He continued, "The day your mother got pregnant with Luke, your mother's power started acting strangely, we went back to her village to talk with her parents, the elders, we tried everything to know the cause but none of them could say for sure what was happening."

"As the day went on, her power remained unaffected after the initial decline, but her hair, which was a signature of her pure bloodline and her identity as a Veela began fading, day after day, her hair was turning black, by the time your brother was born, it was even hard to tell if she was a Veela, to begin with."

It might be confusing with the term "mana" used here and there, but it'll be explained in upcoming chapters. So people don't misinterpret it as a mistake!
