Chapter 54: Breakout

"They feel very dangerous," Xeno said after inspecting his new house wards.

The brothers had just finished setting everything up.

It took them an extra week because they had to locate a new Arkenstone since the old one was too deteriorated to be of use.

But now with a new Arkenstone of the highest quality, the brothers managed to set wards even more dangerous than the ones back at the Potter Manor. The reason for that was simple, the Lovegoods property was a lot smaller, so one can focus the effect of the wards a lot better.

"They are very dangerous my Lord, be sure to key in anyone who is allowed into your house. You don't want any nasty surprises." Red tie spoke.

"Thank you for your services gentlemen. " Harry said.

The brothers nodded to Harry and gave a small reverence to Luna.

"Goodbye, my Lady," They both said in unison.

"Au revoir!" Luna waved at them.

"Todavía se piensa que somos franceses?" One of the brothers told the other.

"Que se yo…es un poco rara. Vámonos de aquí." The other one said.

The rest of the summer went by quietly. Harry used some of his time to give Luna some magical training. The wards served one more purpose besides protection, and that was privacy.

The ministry would not be able to detect the use of the wand as long as one does not go too crazy with it.

Luna had a lot of talent for magic and was able to learn things a lot faster than normal, however, it would take her many years to master her magesight, as it was a very complex ability.

Two weeks before the start of the classes Luna and Harry were getting ready to make a trip to Diagon Alley and buy their supplies for the upcoming year when they heard the voice of Xeno calling them to come down. He sounded very nervous which was an unusual thing.

When they entered the kitchen, they saw Xeno reading the Daily Prophet, which was even more unusual. He hates that newspaper. Harry is the only one in the house with a subscription.

"An owl just left this," Xeno said with a grave voice and then placed the newspaper on the table.

For a moment Harry thought that Xeno was mad at him for buying the Daily Prophet, but that idea dropped the moment He saw the headline.

"Mass breakout from Azkaban! Seven inmates escape!"

Pictures of the prisoners were placed on the front page. Harry recognizes most of them. They were his former followers.

"Antonin Dolohov, Avery II, Gareth Greengrass, Bellatrix Lestrange, Rabastan Lestrange, Rodolphus Lestrange, and Sirius Black." Luna read the names out loud.

"We all need to be more careful now, but especially you Harry." Xeno looked at him seriously.

"You think they are going to come after me? I'm sure they have better things to worry about." Harry dismissed his concerns.

"There is one of them in particular that you should be worried about if the stories are to be believed at least…Sirius Black." Xeno said.

"He does remind me of someone." Luna was looking at Sirius's picture intensely.

"Why should I be worried about him in particular?." Harry was now curious. He vaguely remembers Sirius Black, He was the only member of the Black family who openly opposed Him, but back then his focus was mostly on Dumbledore and the prophecy.

Xeno sighed and sat back down.

"I suppose is not a surprise no one has told you. People dislike talking about those times." Xeno placed his hands together and was silent for a moment while gathering his thoughts.

"I don't know all of the details but I had a source back then who was close to Mr. Crouch, who used to be the leader of the D.M.L.E. According to what I was told, Your parents went into hiding and trusted only one of their friends with the location of their house. This friend was Sirus Black, who then proceed to betray your parents and gave their location to You-know-who and…well you know what happened next."

Xeno paused for a moment to let the information sink in.

"Anyways, after that happened, He was apparently confronted by another one of your parent's friends, Peter Pettigrew. During the confrontation, Black killed Pettigrew and almost a dozen muggles who were close by. He was arrested shortly after that and has been in Azakan since then. Pettigrew was given an Order of Merling first class." Xeno finished.

'Wow, what a load of crap…How could they have gotten the facts so wrong? Did they not even bother to question Black?, and they gave Wormatail and Order of Merlin…and I thought He had merely escaped and went into hiding.' While Harry was thinking that Xeno rose from his chair.

"Harry, I need you to promise that You will not go after Black, He is a very dangerous individual." Xeno was serious.

Harry found the situation somewhat amusing.

"Don't worry Xeno, I won't be chasing Sirius Black." Harry raised his hands in a placating manner and Xeno nodded, satisfied.

"Is best if we wait a few more days for things to calm down a bit and then I will accompany you to Diagon Alley," Xeno said.

Harry saw no point in arguing with that so He just nodded.

He looked back at the newspaper and focused on the picture of Sirius Black.

'He may be of use.'
