Chapter 119: New Things (I can't think of anything better)

Sorry, only one chapter this week, too. I got sick and ended up worse than I expected, just yesterday they injected me with something to recover, I'll try to resume my normal rhythm next week.

I was naked, riding Elise around the camp, planning our next target while talking about certain topics.

I heard about the customs between pairs from her, we even went together with his pack to talk to the other unicorns. It was as expected, when they saw me ride her, the stampede came towards me, but we managed to calm them down, anyway, I never got off Elise at any time.

They didn't like us and said a lot of things to us, but we were firm, without being too abusive. We try to at least be accepted at the minimum, but they still complained that Elise ran away with me. In the end, we had to flee the place, but we didn't give up, this was proof for the future.

On the other hand, Elise curiously asked about some of the shallower sexual activities that humans often use. In the middle of the forest, we were taking a break to eat something. We had just left the periphery of the acromantula's territory after killing some and keeping their bodies in my inventory to get some items and sell the rest to the trader.

"I think we should go to the centaur camp"(Red)

"Yes, we have put it off for too long, but now I think I am strong enough that we can escape if they do not receive us well. It would be good to see how it goes, besides having a good relationship with them can make many things easier for us here in the forest and increase our range"(Red)

We finished eating and headed to the centaur camp, but halfway there Elise suddenly stopped and I activated my [Life sense] to detect some beings that were approaching us.

We heard heavy footsteps along with the barking of a dog and we got into an attack position while I took out a sword that I bought from the merchant, it was light but sharp and had helped us a lot. The other party also seemed to notice us and stopped not far away, letting both sides see each other.

Elise and I saw a big, bearded man with a crossbow on his back, accompanied by a black dog that seemed to want to run and hide. It was clear that it was Hagrid. The half-giant was giving one of his usual patrols and he had been able to notice the distinctive shine of the unicorns, so he approached to see it.

On the other hand, Hagrid had seen a most unusual scene. There was a unicorn just as he had expected, but on it was a naked boy with red eyes and long, messy hair of the same color. This image was strange enough to stun him long enough for me and Elise let's get out of the place before he had time to catch up.

Hagrid was very confused, he could not associate any species with my appearance that get along with unicorns, the other option is that be like him, a semi-human, but that made it weirder since by my appearance it should still be a child in his opinion. Something came to his mind that his arachnid friend had told him, about his children being hunted, and he managed to relate we us, but by the time he realized we had already disappeared.

We ran away from the place, as I didn't want to associate with anyone at my current age. I hoped this hadn't given us away, and I was glad we were away from our camp. From now on we had to be more careful and our need to communicate with the centaurs was greater.

We followed the agreed path and arrived at the territory of the centaurs, we were somewhat tense upon arrival, it would not necessarily be like the previous time. We weren't stopped by the patrols until we were pretty close to their camp and got the same look as Hagrid.

The town was alerted and more and more centaurs came out of their houses, by the time we knew we had a semicircle of centaurs in front of us who looked at us with astonishment, doubt, and caution.

We didn't want to make any sudden moves to avoid any misunderstandings, so we waited for them to speak first. A large centaur with several grays in his hair stepped forward, he seemed imposing with his size and body language, but he also gave off a certain sense of kindness and tranquility.

"Who is coming?" The current leader of the centaurs asked.

"Red and Elise... I am Red and she is Elise"

There was a silence in the place, the murmurs of the centaurs were heard, but no one spoke too loudly. Their leader thought for a while, ignoring some of the words of the people around him.

This surprised the centaurs a bit, and us that he agreed so quickly. We talk from a distance for a while longer before we turn around and go back.

We don't plan to do much more here today so as not to push too hard, next time we'll come with some things to trade. For the first time, it was fine.

She couldn't understand how I and Elise got along, we were complete opposites, and when she found out that our relationship was more than it seemed she almost went crazy.

She was hoping it was just a front and that we hated each other, but she saw us in secret and found nothing to prove it. In a centaur training exercise, Elise and I participated demonstrating perfect coordination and how well we complemented each other, leaving her even more surprised.

In the end, we ended up getting along pretty well, it was very different from her future, but it was still pretty nice. Knowing that she liked herbology and healing, we collaborated with her by teaching her some things and giving her some exotic plants. She had a hard time accepting that we get along and, even more so, that we were almost a couple, but she took it as a lesson and since then she has asked about us in a more personal way, trying to understand and learn about us.

After gaining some favor from the camp, we started using [fast travel] to get back and forth more easily, which we used at one point when we had to leave as we heard that Hagrid had come to ask about us. We asked them to keep us a secret and we left. We would wait awhile before going back, and our trades would go through Marrill.
