Hogwarts express stopped and Alex wore his robes and got out with Cho and Hermione. at this moment Hagrid shouted," first years follow me, follow me quickly".
Cho who saw Alex leaving knew he will be at the great hall she thinks if Alex will be sorted into ravenclaw , but since both his parents are
griffindor , she gave up the idea.
Alex also excitedly follows Hagrid excitedly and occasionally chat with him about magical creatures which Hagrid discussed enthusiastically. soon, they arrive at river and Harry, Ron ,Alex and Hermione took a boat to cross the shore.
when they arrive at the castle Hagrid handed them to professor McGonagall and left.
McGonagall tells them about the 4 houses and about points in Hogwarts and the sorting ceremony. she glances occasionally at the long silver haired boy with different eye colour on each. the first years also knew that Lily Potter's sons arrived at Hogwarts and began to discuss among them. McGonagall can't stand those whispers and shouted silence.
the newcomers arrived with professor McGonagall and the professors noticed Alex and curious about him. the sorting ceremony began and as usual Susan bones has been placed in Hufflepuff. and the others like Hermione Granger, Ron ,and Harry are placed in griffindor. the griffindor table is full applause when they saw that James and Lily's son is sorted into their house and curiously watched Alex . soon, professor McGonagall said loudly, " Alexander Lucian Potter".
the great hall is silent at the moment and all the students are looking at the boy at the dias with curiosity, some even stand up to get a better view on him.
at this moment, the sorting hat is placed on Alex and it says, " hm, very good, a kin of Lily, you are very interesting just like your mother , has good talents in all aspects and also ,what is this ? this is the first I saw a student with the qualities of all 4 houses , and what is this monstrous amount of magic swimming in your body, boy are you sure you are a 11 year old? , if I have word to describe you I will call you a walking monstrosity. this is a very tough one with your talent you can be suited to Slytherin, but by blood your more suited to Griffindor. let's consider your choice".
at this moment Alex looked at Cho in ravenclaw and asked the sorting hat in mind to sort him to ravenclaw. the sorting hat said," are you sure you just want to choose your house based on a girl". the professors who heard this gave Alex a gaze with black lines while thinking 11 years old and already thinking about love, how did you raise your son Lily, he is rejecting houses for a girl.
Alex told the hat that he wants to be in ravenclaw and the hat gave up to persuade him, it announces," ravenclaw". the students at ravenclaw are confused about the hat saying about a girl but gave a big cheer. at this moment Snape is looking at Alex who resembled Lily except for the hair and felt guilty. he is even surprised by Alex's choice ,Snape haven't done this in his days and unlike him that little one chose the girl without hesitation ,in his heart he felt warm for this little wizard , at this moment Dumbledore who watched with eyes lit up and gave a cheer to Alex by lifting his glass.
Alex arrived at the long table of ravenclaw and sit beside Cho and hugged her. Cho can't believe her eyes, Alex who should have gone to Griffindor arrived to Ravenclaw just because of her and when Alex hugged Cho, she is already beet red. the other students at the table also noticed Alex choice of Cho and some threw him a thumbs up and some looked at him with envy, Cho is one of the most beautiful in Ravenclaw and she is snatched by a first year , senior students are ashamed by this.
Alex has began to eat dinner after hearing Dumbledore's joke like every year and turn to ask about classes and common rooms. Ravenclaw common room invites everyone as long as they have password. and Ravenclaw has its own library.
Alex has his eyes lit when he heard about the separate library. now he decided to tease Cho, he turn to Cho and opened his mouth as if to ask her to feed him. Cho though embarassed got a piece with the fork and placed it in Alex's mouth. Alex who ate said ," it tastes much better than mine, I wonder why?". Cho who heard it turned beet red , the others on the table looked at the flirting nature of the two and some watched while fascinated and some glared daggers.
Alex ignored them and continue to tease Cho until she is so shy that she can't look at him, he laughed in heart and said to himself," this is just the beginning Cho, I'm going tease you like this everyday". if Cho would've heard she will definitely runaway from him each time.
soon, the anomally reached Lily Potter , although she is happy for Alex choosing a girl ,she is angry at him for choosing Ravenclaw just for her. she decided to write a letter to Alex about this.
