looked at the status with smile he goes to sleep and wake up quickly tomorrow to go to diagon ally , James and Lily finished the break fast and let the children eat. then took them to leaky couldron in London along the way they met the grangers which are also going to same destination and Lily asked mrs.granger about the letter from Hogwarts to which mrs.granger shocked and replied and said they received one for Hermione. Hermione enthusiastically chatted with Alex and Harry about magic and blamed them for not telling her about magic even when they are in same school, but realised it is a secret and leave the matter. she chatted with Alex about magic and Harry who is not an avid reader and not practiced seriously lost interest in both of them , he often wonders whether he could meet someone like himself in Hogwarts.
soon they arrived at leaky couldron and enters it to goto diagon ally, when the people saw the silver hair and Lily potter beside the boy the people in the pub caused a commotion. it calmed down even eventually and the grangers are confused by this . Hermione asked Alex about the commotion but Alex awkwardly laughed and didn't tell her about this. the girl also decided not to push.
when they arrived at diagon ally through leaky couldron the grangers are in awe due to this unknown world, James told them to come along as there is need for currency exchange for the grangers, and when mr.granger asked if James is also going there for currency exchange ,James and Lily just smiled and didn't say anything. Hermione on the other hand wondered if they must have an account or something in the bank.
when they went into gringotts the Grangers noticed the creatures and asked about them Lily told them they are goblins and not to worry , when they arrived at a goblin James asked the goblin for currency exchange for the Grangers and asked about potter's family vault by handing key. the Grangers now realised these guys must be some important people in this world and told Hermione to be good friends with them.
Harry and Alex are excited to see the goblins and the minecart that pulled them towards the vault 687. James and Lily took both the kids into the vault that is filled with mountains of galleons and gold, silver and some treasures this vault is the life work Lily and James along with a small part of inheritance from potter's family. James took a handbag full of galleons and closed the vault and getting the key, they arrived at the entrance to find the Grangers and get ready for a shopping spree. James and Lily took a teasing glance at Alex and Alex has pleading look as if to say please exclude this one time , James and Lily decided to let him go this once.
soon they bought all the items needed except for robes and wands , the Grangers are following James and Lily to shops as they didn't know where the shops and observed some things in awe. when they pass by a broom shop James and Harry are glancing at the broom nimbus 2000 and wanted to buy it but stopped by Lily who says there are already a pile of brooms sitting in their house and glared at James.
soon they also met Cho Chang along with her parents. she is a 2 nd year and also came here to buy the things for Hogwarts. the 3 families decided to go to restaurant after visiting olliwander's shop to buy ends for the kids and wand care kit for Cho.
