for a long time I sat and watched everyone hug there parents or guardian.

I got bored of that and brought out a book to look over some spells, I decided to reread all my school books to make sure I got what the books says in my head.

I realized the more I read that the way I do magic is a little different, I can do the spell the way the book says just fine but after I learn how to do it the way I do magic the spell is always stronger.

I don't know if it's because I can see the way magic flows so I subconsciously change it to be more efficient or just one of the perks of thinking like I do from seeing the comics from my past life.

Either way it's a happy coincidence.

(Someone is approaching your door.)

I looked up to see the famous Ron, the red hair easily gave it away.

" excuse me, do you mind, everywhere else is full."

I put my book down.

"Go right ahead."

"I'm Ron by the way Ron Weasley."

I laughed a little to myself knowing what his words would be after mine.

"Harry James potter."

"Nice to, wait your him, do you have the, you know."

I lifted my hair. "You mean this fancy art?"

"Wicked!"

The trolly came in front of the door.

Perfect timing I'm hungry.

"Anything off the trolley dears?"

Ron looked down. "No thanks, I'm all set."

"You might be but I'm not, how much for the lot?"

After spending more gold then I thought it'd be, me and Ron were eating a whole bunch of candy.

I opened the chocolate frog and when it tried to jump out I grabbed it with my magic out of reflex."

"Wicked, how did you do that already and without a wand?"

"Ummm, magic."

"Of course it was magic, I meant how'd you do that wandlessly especially so young?"

"I honestly don't know I've been doing it for ages."

"So cool.

If you want to see magic my brothers taught me a spell to turn my rat yellow."

He cleared his throat. "Sunshine."

Suddenly a bushy haired girl started to talk in the doorway.

" has anyone seen a toad, a boy named Neville lost one."

We both shook our heads no.

She looked a little surprised. "Oh are you doing magic, let's see it then."

He cleared his throat again. "Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow turn this stupid fat rat yellow."

He looked at me. "I think you have been tricked."

She stuck her nose up. "Are you sure that's a real spell, because it's not a very good one is it?

Of course I've only tried a few simple ones myself but they have all worked for me."

"I've done spells myself, nothing special, but how about you come and sit down and introduce yourself."

"Oh were are my manners, I'm Hermione Granger."

"I'm Harry Potter."

She looked closer at me. "Where's your glasses, I read all about you in a wizard's history book but in all the books you had glasses?"

"Well, here's your first lesson, not everything you read in a book is true."

"I don't believe that."

She looked at Ron. "And your name?"

"Ron Weasley."

"Pleasure, you guys should be putting your robes on we'll be arriving soon."

"Don't you still need to find that toad?"

"But you said you didn't see it."

"Doesn't mean I can't help, do you know it's name?"

"I believe Trevor."

"I'll show you some cool magic."

Since I'm in public I picked up my wand and pointed it up. "Accio Trevor."

There was some screaming and a small thud noise, then a toad came flying to me from the hall.

I handed it to Hermione. " ta da, the toad, is that all the help you need?"

"No, that will be all thank you."

She got up. "I'll be handing this to Neville now."

She walked out the door but stepped back in and looked at Ron. "You have some dirt on your nose, thought you should know."

She finally walked away and down the hall.

Ron looked at me. " that one is mental."

"I feel like she's just fine, I actually feel like we will be friends, I know I want to be hers."

"You want to be around that all the time."

"That's not nice, she just had a mission, you can't blame her for your brothers tricking you."

"She could have said it nicer."

"You'll be fine let's get changed."

I lifted my hand up and revealed the house ring.

"I'm going to change in here so don't freak out."

"What's that?"

"Family heirloom, I can put stuff inside and go inside myself, all my belongings are inside."

"Wicked."

After we changed we just talked the rest of the way, one of the things he wouldn't stop talking about was how Slytherin was all bad people.

I just kinda ignored him and enjoyed the ride.

It was a mess trying to get off the train everyone was running over one another.

Once me and Ron finally made it out we heard Hagrid yelling.

"FIRST YEARS, FIRST YEARS RIGHT HERE, FIRST YEARS THIS WAY PLEASE!"

We walked up to him and me and Hagrid said hello to each other and Ron was amazed at his height.

It was 4 to a boat and I made sure it was me, Ron, Hermione, and Neville.

The sight of the castle is something, it put whatever you could find in my old life to shame.

We docked the boats and walked through a tunnel, it was so dark in the tunnel and Hagrid lamp really didn't help us so I decided to make a ball of light and hover it over the center of the group.

There was murmurings about the light being from Hogwarts itself to light the way for us new students.

I thought about saying it was me but I let them keep there imagination.

We made it into the building and went up a bunch of stairs until we saw Professor McGonagall.

"Welcome to Hogwarts.

Now here in A few moments you'll pass through these doors and join your classmates."

Then she went on to explain the different houses and how they are our family, and the points system.

The was until neville yelled for his toad.

(He lost that toad again, he needs to learn the summoning charm as soon a possible just to find his toad.)

While trying to talk to Alice I had someone be annoying by yelling.

"POTTER are you ignoring me?"

"What, who are you?"

Everyone chuckled.

"Sorry you were saying something?"

"I Was introducing myself, you should feel honored, I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy."

Ron chuckled, and he went in to insult Ron.

" There are certain families you don't want toBe caught around, they are just bad, but I can help you with that."

"Looking at how you treat your so called friends and how you treat others and your all around attitude, I think I'm better off choosing myself, thanks for the offer tho."

He was about to say something when McGonagall walked behind him so he went back to his previous spot.

"This way."

And as we walked the big doors opened.
