Ritual and Wand

The four wand maker immediately rushing both Amara and her uncle to a room in the back of the shop. Even though the shop doesn't look too big - it's only seven meters long, six meters wide, and four meters high, with extended charm successfully extending the interior to a much wider area without changing the outside look of the store.

Eventually, they reached a red door in the backside of the shop. The red door has a plate name that reads 'Ritual Room.' Inside there are two magic circles, one smaller circle is inside the larger one. Some runes are being etched on the outside layer of the big circle plus four clock arms like a tattoo on the big circle. That four clock arms each pointing to a wand core that is the specialty of each four wand maker family.

The core of rougarou hair is colored dark grey to black, the core of thunderbird's tail feather has white almost gold, white river monster is in white bone color and if Amara is right with spine this big there is no other word to describe this fish aside from monster. Lastly, the hair of wampus cat was in the color of ginger red. The four cores floating above the clock arms like a tattoo in that big magic circle.

Then Amara was asked to step into the middle of the big magic circle. When she's stand right in the middle of the circle, both circles light up like a lamp of No-Maj.

"Umm... Am I gonna be all right?" Amara asked nervously.

"It's gonna be fine, you're only going to feel someone looking straight up into you," Jackson Wolfe answered her question.

"Okay." In actuality, Amara not only nervous but also excited to know what kind of wand that suits her. Then as if they know what Amara's thinking right now. They tried to make Amara relax and said she should just empty her mind not thinking anything.

Amara does just like that and the two circles began to light up and grow brighter and brighter but not too bright as Joshua and the four wand maker still can see Amara's silhouette. The small circle that is inside a large circle began moving to rotates itself inside the big one until it was stopped at a thunderbird's tail feather core. When the small circle stopped on the core, it grows more and more bright while the light of the big circle slowly becomes dimmer and dimmer.

"Yeah! Ahahaha… finally, it's my turn to provide the wand." Jackson Wolfe began to laugh out loud which scared Amara and made Joshua immediately take his niece's hand and blocking the view of the girl as he pulled out his wand from his wand holder to his right hand and pointed at Jackson Wolfe.

"Take it easy there. As you are not aware, the wizard whom a wand with thunderbird's tail feather core chooses is not that many. He was just happy that you're compatible with his specialty." Samantha calms Joshua and Amara.

"Come here young lady, sorry to startled you." Jackson smiled and offer his hand to Amara as he guides Amara through one of the shop's room. The door writes 'J. Wolfe.' Inside there are many cabinets just like the hallway.

"This room holds many of my wand creation, as it is rare to be chosen. It's better to save it here."

"Let's try this, Alder wood, 11 inches, quite springy," Jackson hand Amara the wand. When it's only in her hand for one second, it jumped up, don't want to be in Amara's hand.

"How about this? Cypress, 9½ inch, unyielding." This time the wand fired at the rooftop and broke it apart, then Jackson waves his wand lightly and the roof repairs itself to before it is broken. Phenomena like this occur for more than fifteen times until Jackson shouted in excitement.

"Aha! Finally... I know... I know..." Jackson Wolfe began mumbling something that Amara can't understand.

"What do you know Mr. Wolfe?" Amara asked already a bit bored with how many wands she had tried.

"I just have the perfect one for you, but it was on display outside in the hallway. Let's go there first."

Jackson Wolfe guides them both Amara and Uncle Joshua back to the hallway. The hallway not crowded as Ollivander's in Diagon Alley because the reason behind their visit is an accident that leads to the broken wand so there is not even one first-year student of Ilvermorny like Amara that buying her first wand here.

"Hey Lance, did you see the white wand that I made a while ago and put it on display?"

"Oh, that wand is moved by Mrs. Samantha Beauvais to front display, sir."

"Thank you, Lance."

"Samantha... Samantha... hold on, don't display that wand," Jackson said while panting a bit.

"Why? Does this little girl not fit all the wand in your room?"

"Yeah, that's why I want her to try wands that are on display, apparently she is best suited with Aspen wood." Jackson was so excited that you can see him a bit skipping to the front display in Samantha's back.

"Ah... my most beautiful baby might have his master in a bit," Jackson said and handed Amara the wand with his two hands. Because of that gesture, Amara's copied his gesture to receive the said wand also with two hands.

"Aspen wood, thunderbird's tail feather core, 13½ inch, and reasonably supple flexibility." When she changed her hands' position to only grip the wand in her right hand which is her dominant hand, the wand let out sparkles in so many colors.

Amara looked at her wand, immediately when she touched with the said wand, she already feels connected. As if something that usually has to be with her of all time finally reunited with her.

After a few moments of hugging her wand, she takes a closer look at her wand. It has a beautiful white color that shifts color to purple when it's on different sunlight and the handle is the most beautiful carving and coloring that Amara has seen in her life. The handle and the rest of the wand are separated with a small golden round plate. The handle itself has the background color of white same like ¾ portion of the wand but it is not shifting the color but 100% matte. There is also a very beautiful small carving of Aspen leaves that is delicate but strong. The color of the leaves is bright green to yellowish-green, also brilliant yellow, gold, orange, or slightly red in glossy varnish meaning the Aspen wood has overcome four seasons on earth. At the end of the wand there is also the small golden round plate and at the pommel inscribed a rune of Algiz, also known as courage or power rune.

Jackson opened the conversation after Amara finished looking at her wand which he made it himself, to be honest, he is a bit bashful right now with how the girl staring at her wand without blinking.

"There is always wand lore surrounding Aspen wood. Wand-quality Aspen wood is white and fine-grained and highly prized by all wand makers for its stylish resemblance to ivory and its usually outstanding charm work. The proper owner of the aspen wand is often an accomplished duelist or destined to be so, for the aspen wand is one of those particularly suited to martial magic. Maybe one day you can be one of the best duelists out there Miss Hill." Jackson stroking Amara's head.

"Do you know? There is an infamous and secretive eighteenth-century dueling club, which called itself 'The Silver Spears,' it was reputed to admit only those who owned aspen wands. My grandfather often found that aspen wand owners are generally strong-minded and determined, more likely than most to be attracted by quests and new orders; this is a wand for revolutionaries, Miss Hill."

"How about the core, Mr. Wolfe?"

"Wands with Thunderbird tail feather were powerful but difficult to master and were good for transfiguration work. Wands with Thunderbird tail feather cores, like the beasts the feathers are taken from, can sense danger so this wand can warning you of danger and can cast curses on their own which kinda disliked by some of their masters because of this particular characteristic. Wands with Thunderbird tail feather cores have been known to fire curses pre-emptively when supernatural dangers are present." Jackson Wolfe said.

"So if you are in danger and the wand also senses it, it's better if you believed in your wand and go back. Even though it can fire curses pre-emptively when supernatural dangers are present. You still must be careful. Promise me?"

"I promise, Mr. Wolfe." The way her purple eyes sparkling is really beautiful.
