Meet Hermione Again

Because he was not allowed to do magic, Edward could only spent his time on spell theory in his book. He also did not forget to practice his wand movements in the past few days, and that made him quite proficient.

He also tried to do wandless magic especially in moving, floating, and exerting power on objects. Unfortunately it can only make the object move slightly.

"Um, hello... Aunty" said Edward awkwardly.

"Hermione, dear!" shouted Mrs. Granger.

"Yes, Mom!" came the sound from the top floor. Second later, Hermione arrived.

"Hello, Aunty!" Hermione hugged Mrs. Williams. And waving her hand to Edward.

"Hello, Edward!"

"Hello, Hermione!" said Edward, "I don't know if you are a student at Hogwarts".

"Oh, you know now" answered Hermione smiling.

After that, Mrs. Granger invited them into the house. Walking behind their parents, Hermione asked Edward curiously

"Edward, I heard you bought lots of books at Diagon Alley?".

"Yes, by the way you can call me Ed" nodded Edward.

"So, what books have you read? and what book do you like? Have you remembered all the spells you read?" asked Hermione excitedly.

Hearing all Hermione's questions, made Edward speechless.

"Hermione, calm down! I can't answer your questions at once" said Edward.

"Um, sorry" said Hermione embarrassed

Seeing Hermione like that, their parents laughed.

Arriving in the living room, Hermione began asking again. Edward could only answer the number of books he bought, what books he liked where they were books that Hermione often read, A History of Magic was one of them. And because he couldn't do magic, Edward only replied that he could only understand the spell theory for now.

"Wow, that's a lot of books. I don't have as many books as you" said Hermione.

From the tone of her voice, Edward knew that Hermione was envy of him. So he said

"You can borrow my book if you want. They are too many, so I have no chance to read everything"

Hearing that, Hermione was immediately excited and embarrassed because Edward seemed to be able to see her mind.

"Oh, thank you Ed!" said Hermione who suddenly hugged Edward.

Edward who was hugged at the moment felt awkward.

Suddenly they heard a coughing sound. Hermione quickly let Edward go, then they sat with their faces red.

Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Mrs. Williams changed the subject by asking Hermione about school life at Hogwarts.

Hearing that, Hermione began to relax. And start talking about her school life at Hogwarts. From the castle, the professors, learn magic, and also about her friends at Hogwarts.

'So she didn't tell her parents about the troll' Edward thought.

"So, who do you like?" asked Mrs. Williams.

"Hm?" confused Hermione.

"Between your two friends, who do you like?".

"Oh, no, both of them are my best friends" after understanding Mrs. Williams's intentions, Hermione replied shyly.

"Thankfully" replied Mrs. Williams with relief.

"Mom!" shouted Edward. How could he not understand his mother's intentions.

'What the hell! I am only 11 years old now' Edward thought.

Seeing Edward's reaction, Mrs. Granger and Mrs. Williams laughed.

Hermione, who was listening, had blushed her cheeks.

Because it was late, Edward and his mother planned to go home.

When he wanted to go home, Edward suddenly saw anticipation on Hermione's face. He knew what Hermione was thinking.

"I will deliver the books that you will borrow tomorrow" said Edward suddenly.

"Thank you Ed" smiled Hermione.

The next day as promised, Edward came to Hermione's house with many books.

When he was about to leave, suddenly Mrs. Granger said

"Edward, you don't need to go. You can study together with Hermione, she is the best student this year at Hogwarts"

"Yes, we can study together, you can also see my book collection" said Hermione enthusiastically.

Seeing them, Edward felt uncomfortable to refuse. So he accepted their offer.

After studying together, Edward felt Hermione really deserve her nickname, the Bright Witch of her Age. Almost every question about the theory he put forward can be answered by Hermione. That did not include the number of spells she knew.

After that day, Edward came to Hermione's house almost every day, this time the one who asked him to stay was Hermione. Edward felt the reason Hermione asked him to stay was because she wanted to borrow his books.

Hermione, who borrowed almost all of Edward's books, felt uncomfortable, and insisted that Edward stay and study with her. In return for borrowing books for her.

After 1 month had passed.

Edward and Hermione had known each other and had become friends. Edward, who initially did not want to get too close to Hermione, discarded that thought. He felt Hermione was different from the characters he had read in his past. Hermione here is his friend, she is also the daughter of his mother's friend.

He also considered the Granger family like his family. And thinking at least he wouldn't let anything happen to the Granger family in the future.
