Arthur.

On a Stormy night in front of a doorstep of a big stone manor, a hooded figure can be seen putting some sort of bundle with a piece of paper on it in front of the said door. Before the figure puts down the bundle they seen to lean down and kiss said bundle, the bundle squirms a little as the figure puts it down. The figure rings the doorbell before quickly running off leaving the bundle behind.

A few minutes later the door is opened by a mature woman with long straight black hair. The woman looks around curiously for who rang the doorbell, suddenly the woman hears the faint sound of a baby crying coming from under her. The woman stares down and is shocked to see a little baby wrapped in a blue blanket on her doorstep. She quickly bends over and picks up the poor thing. The woman carries the child into the lounge where a man with messy black hair and circular glasses sits reading an interesting newspaper. The newspaper's interesting because the pictures seem to be moving.

"Fleamont." The woman calls out to the man.

"What is it Euphemia?" The man looks up from the newspaper.

"Someone left this child on our doorstep." The woman Euphemia tells her husband Fleamont.

"What!!! Who?" Fleamont looks at the bundle in Euphemias hands in shock.

"I'm not sure but the left a note." Euphemia takes out the piece of paper that was tucked inside the blanket.

She reads the note out loud. "Euphemia I'm sorry to ask this of you, but I leave my son in your care. I fear I won't live long, my pursures are hot on my trail it won't be long until they catch up to me and when they do, I will surely be killed. Please I implore you Euphemia not to tell my son of my eminent death, I want him to grow up living a good life I don't wish for him to seek revenge against my family or my husband's family, I want him to grow up without such a burden on his shoulders. Please Euphemia tell him how much his mother loved him and how sorry she is for not being there for him, for not seeing him grow up, tell him I don't regret giving birth to him.

Your loving friend Sarah Fawley. Ps I've named him Arthur.

Tears start to pool in Euphemia's eyes. Sarah was a very good friend of hers from her time at Hogwarts and even after. Sadly they had drifted apart a few years ago because her husband didn't want her to associate with blood traitors. Her husband was Ethan Rosier, but from what she heard Sarah had ran away with a muggle apparently, two years ago it was a massive scandal amongst all the noble families, a pureblood running away with a muggle, it was a huge blow to the Rosier and Fawley family.

Euphemia understood why Sarah left her child here, those two families will definitely hunt both her and her husband down, they'd also kill the child. Sarah definitely made the right leaving her child with her, Euphemia will protect this little boy with her life, she'll raise the child as if he was her own son, she'll spoil him rotten, she'll fulfill her friends wish.

"Oh honey I'm sorry, I know Sarah was your friend." Fleamont Potter gets up and goes to console his wife who he notices is close to tears.

Fleamont wraps his arms around his wife, Euphemia feeling her husband arms around her leans into his chest, as soon her head drops onto her husband's chest, the tears that were pooled start falling. Fleamont starts gently rubbing his wife's back. "It'll be okay sweetheart, we'll fulfill her last wish, we'll raise the boy as if he was our own."

Euphemia nods into his chest. Honestly as terrible as this may sound Euphemia and Fleamont have always wanted a child and out of nowhere a child suddenly appears on their doorstep, to them it seems as if they're prayers have been answered, though they hate that it had to come at the expense of Sarah.

The Potters look down at their newly adopted son Arthur, they can't help but marvel at how adorable he is, with his tiny little nose and chubby cheeks. Euphemia can't help but feel this strong urge to pinch little Arthur's adorable cheeks. "He's beautiful Fleamont." Euphemia says in a daze.

"Really? He looks like an old man with chubby cheeks to me." Fleamont has a teasing smile on his face.

Euphemia lightly slaps Fleamont on his shoulder. "He does not." She looks up at her husband while pouting.

"I'm only joking Euphemia." Fleamont leans foward and gently kisses his wife's pouty lips.

Euphemia can't help but smile at her husband. Even after all so long, the love she had for her husband is as strong as ever.

"I love you Fleamont." Euphemia looks at her husband the love she has for him clear in her eyes.

"And I love you Euphemia." Fleamont smiles warmly at his beautiful wife.

A months go by and the Potters are enjoying their new life with Arthur. The Potters were surprised by how well behaved their new son was, from what they've heard babies usually wake up in the middle and cry alot, but Arthur barely cries and sleeps throughout the night, Arthur really is a well behaved child. Both Fleamont and Euphemia have come to love little Arthur as their son, they're really happy to have him in their lives, he has changed their lives for the better. The Potter manor has become more lively thanks to his presence. Arthur's presence however isn't the only thing making the house more lively, Euphemia found out that she's pregnant and the child should be born sometime in April next year. Fleamont and Euphemia were ecstatic they were going to have another child. They've always wanted more then one child, unfortunately they were struggling to conceive even a single child, they tried for years but Euphemia just couldn't get pregnant, now they have been blessed with two children, they can't explain how happy they are at the moment.
