Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived

Harry Potter loves, and is loved by, his parents, his godfather, and his brother. He isn’t mistreated, abused, or neglected. So why is he a Dark Wizard? NonBWL!Harry. Not your typical Harry’s brother is the Boy Who Lived story. This fic is being posted on behalf of the amazing author The Santi. In addition to the 12 chapters originally posted on Fanfiction.net, this will also include the additional 6 chapters posted on Dark Lord Potter. I will attempt to continue the story myself, unless the original author chooses to continue or actually grants permission for another author to continue the story. I have done my best to keep all the original formatting and scene breaks.

An Unusually Meeting

Hogwarts, Seventh Floor Left Corridor, January 6th

Together hand in hand, were Calypso and Harry. The two were exploring the castle after the last two days of trying to find some proof of Skeeter's wrongdoing, not that Harry could judge too much since he still was taking as long as possible to get registered as an animagus as possible.

"What are your plans for over the summer?" Calypso asked.

Not expecting the question and the two of them had been simply walking around just enjoying each other's company beside to occasionally laugh at a funny looking tapestry, it took a second for Harry to respond.

"I'm not sure, honestly I'll probably just spend most of it reading in our library. I still haven't finished it yet, but I've learnt some new unlocking spells to try and break the locks my Mum put on the 'darker' books" Harry said, with a laugh.

Calypso marveled at how far he had come in his opinion on dark magic.

"Oh, well I was just wondering because… uh… nevermind" Calypso said, slightly nervous, hoping Harry wouldn't ask any follow up questions.

"Mhm" Harry acknowledged before continuing "You don't have to say whatever is bothering you but I was hoping you'd at least visited once over the holiday."

"Thanks Harry" Calypso said, kissing him on the cheek.

"Your welco- well that has to be the ugliest tapestry I've ever seen." Harry said, looking at what looked like a wizard trying to teach a bunch of trolls to dance but kept getting hit by their clubs instead.

"By Merlin it's terrible - and you said that you like Hogwarts because it looks better than Durmstrang!" Calypso said, stifling a laugh.

"That's not what I said and, well… it's not that bad. I mean-" a loud slam coming from behind them.

Coming out of a large door that wasn't there a moment ago was a weird looking house elf. Unlike most house elves this one was wearing clothes, an ugly looking sweater and a pair of familiar red and gold socks.

Noticing them the elf quickly smiled and yelled "The Great Wizard Nathan Potter and his friend! Dobby is wearing the socks you gave him and they are very warm." Dobby exclaimed.

"Hi Dobby, I'm actually Harry, Nathan's brother and this is Calypso. Where did that door come from? Wait, aren't you the elf that tried to kill my brother" Harry asked, slowly moving his hand to gesture at Calypso to go behind the seemingly deranged elf.

"Dobby is sorry that he thought you were The Great Wizard Nathan Potter but are The Great Wizard Nathan Potter's Brother" Dobby apologised, not noticing or ignoring Harry's irritation. "Dobby was just using the Come and Go Room, it's where all the house elves put things. And Dobby never meant to kill The Great Wizard Nathan Potter but just wanted to hurt The Great Wizard Nathan Potter very badly so he didn't go to Hogwarts."

"Wait so does that mean since Hogwarts was opened everything that isn't used anymore was placed in there?" Calypso questioned, a serious look on her face, turning towards the door.

"Dobby doesn't know but there are lots inside the Come and Go Room, The Great Wizard Nathan Potter's Brother's Friend" Dobby said, puzzled.

"Thanks for explaining it to us, Dobby," Harry said with a look of disbelief and just a hint of annoyance on his face.

Knowing that he was basically dismissed Dobby left the pair with a loud crack.

As they went to enter the room together Harry couldn't help but ask "Was it just me or was Dobby actually trying to annoy me?"

Laughing Calypso said with a smile "hush you, you know that the elf wasn't" as she held his hand and pulled him along into the room with her.
