Chapter 3

Wool Orphanage – July 12, 1983

It's been 4 years and 2 months since I did my first accidental spell, in that time I gained great control over the magic and I even managed to do certain elemental spells like making fire or creating water, I can also do a rudimentary telekinesis with my mind, but I don't have much control over it, I've also been meditating to see if I can learn occlumency on my own, in this experiment I managed to create a barrier around the My mind very rudimentary, when I go to Hogwarts and I'm going to research more about Occlumency and Legilimency.

I've realized that even with a greater talent than Merlin I'm not going to be as strong as him, Dumbledore, Grindelwald or Voldemort until I'm at least 25 years old for the reason that they have a lot more knowledge and experience than I do. If I went by normal means, I would only be able to get as strong as them at about 40 or 45 years old, it shows that talent is not everything, I also need a lot of effort and hard work to be at the top.

In these four years I also got very close to the children of the orphanage and the caregivers, especially the matron Mrs. Smith, she's very nice, she reminds me of my grandmother from past life, she takes very good care of us and that's why I got very close to her.

Now I'm in my room waiting for my hogwarts letter, I thought we got our cards on our birthday, but not only do we get it when the school year is over then the professors start going to talk to muggle-borns and orphans, I was thinking about it when there was a knock on the bedroom door. Mrs. Smith: Arthur's got someone wanting to talk to you.

Next to Mrs. Smith there was a stern looking woman looking to be about 60 years old, she didn't need to say it, but just by looking at her you could tell that she would not accept any disrespect, I looked at her and said "good morning ma'am, please sit down" at that time she came in and Mrs. Smith said goodbye and left

She sat down and introduced herself.

Prof. Mcgonagall: Hello Mr. Hilario my name and minerva mcgonagall I am a transfiguration teacher at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

I showed her a slightly skeptical face and asked her to prove it to me "please show me" she removed her wand and touched a book on top of the desk and she turned into a cat at that time I showed an expression of joy and said "so I'm not the only one" then she looked at me and spoke.

Prof. McGonagall: I see you're not surprised.

Third Person Point of View:

MC: No, I knew it was different, a few years ago I discovered that I could do things that others couldn't do.

Prof. Mcgonagall: You're a wizard Mr. Hilary and I am here to bring you your hogwarts acceptance letter.

MC's point of view:

Then, after she speaks to me, she pulls out a letter and when she is about to hand it to me, I use magic to open it in the air and Prof. Mcgonagall gets scared and speaks.

Prof. McGonagall: Since when have you been able to do that.

"I've been doing this since I was 7 years old, when I discovered I could do this, I tried to control it and I learned how to create and control fire and water and how to move objects in the air, although it's still very complicated."

Prof. McGonagall's point of view:

What talented boy at that age already has this control over magic.

Mc's point of view:

Okay, I showed that I had a lot of talent, I'm pretty sure she'll tell Dumbledore, then we can confirm if he's like those fanfics where he's bad or an old man who does everything for the greater good, I don't particularly believe in either of them and I think he's just a good man that fans want to antagonize to create theories about him.

After talking to her, I continue and open the letter and start reading:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Director: Albus Dumbledore

(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorcerer, Chief Warlock, Supreme Chieftain, International Confederation of Wizards)

Mr. Arthur Hilario 

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We are attaching a list of the books and equipment needed.

The school year begins on September 1. We are waiting for your owl until July 31st at the latest.

1. Three sets of common work robes (black)

2. A simple pointy hat (black) for everyday wear

3. A pair of protective gloves (dragon leather or similar)

4. A winter cape (black with silver zippers)

• Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, by Emerico Switch.

• Fantastic Beasts and Their Habitat, by Newton Scamander.

• The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection, by Quintino Trimble.

Other equipment:

• 1 hand blender.

• 1 cauldron (pewter, size 2).

• 1 set of bottles.

• 1 telescope.

• 1 brass scale.

Note: Students can have an owl, a cat, or a frog.

"How am I going to buy this?I don't have any money," I ask her.

Prof. McGonagall: At Hogwarts we have a fund for orphaned students who can't afford to pay for the materials, but we'll have to buy some second-hand things.

"Alright, so where are we going to buy this?" I ask.

Prof. McGonagall: We're going to go down Diagon Alley.

Third Person Point of View:

Mc: So when do we go Prof. McGonagall.

Prof. McGonagall: Tomorrow I'm going to stop by and we're going to buy your stuff.

Mc's point of view:

Then she gets up and looks at me and says.

Prof. McGonagall: Have a nice day Mr. Hilary.

"you too Prof. McGonagall" then she turns and leaves and I escort her to the door and say "see you tomorrow Prof. McGonagall"
