Chapter 121: Worst Friend in the World

Carissa's throat was raw from crying, and her entire face ached. Her chest was sore, too, though the pain medication helped to numb that a little. She still couldn't believe she'd been in an accident, probably totaled her car, and was now in the hospital with a concussion.

But she was alive and safe, and Bradley was still with her. Thinking he'd leave her or be upset because of what Danny forced her to do was silly. Bradley wasn't that kind of guy, and knowing she had him by her side made everything more bearable.

Of course, she had to tell her father she was moving out of the residence hall and in with Bradley. Dad wasn't going to like that, but she didn't care. After this whole ordeal, all she wanted was to feel safe again, to surround herself with people who genuinely cared about her, who would protect her. And Bradley was that man.

"Carissa!" Tiffany rushed into the room, then came to a screeching halt seconds before flinging her arms around Carissa.
