Chapter 119: Alive
Bradley and Doctor Wallis were silent as they took the elevator up to the tenth floor and walked down the hall to room 1059. Doctor Wallis stopped just outside of the room and nodded at the open door.
"You can wait in here for her. She'll be up in a few minutes," Doctor Wallis said.
"Thank you." Bradley gave the doctor a tight smile, then walked into the room.
He strode straight to the reclining chair, dragged it across the floor until it was positioned right next to the bed, and then he sat. Nerves gnawed at his insides, and he had a hard time sitting still. Too many questions raced through his mind. Why had Danny been in the car with Carissa? What caused the accident?
