The Skyhigh Tower

I sat on my couch and looked at the floor. Athena looked at me worried and looked at the ground. I still couldn't believe it was my best friend who was behind the mask.

"You know...Kevin was the last person on my mind when thinking about the Masked Figure. In fact he wasn't even a potential suspect. I'm still very confused about this...We had no bad blood between us. We had not a single ounce of hatred for one another. After all these years, five years of just holding back his feelings about me becoming bigger than him when I didn't even want to blow up like I did." I said.

"Maybe if he held that much resentment for you, he was never your friend to begin with. Hell he helped with getting us trapped in here. He's helping with destroying this universe and worst of all he wants to kill you instead of just getting your account banned. It is never this deep." Athena shook her head.

I looked up. "I wonder if I hadn't played the game like I did, would he be like this now? If I wasn't number one someone else would've been."

"There's no reason to think of the what ifs now. What if isn't gonna save you or bring Kevin back to his senses. What is gonna save you is stopping Matsuta and the Goddesses as well as the Grand Order. You did nothing wrong so let's get back out there and stop Developer Matsuta!" Athena smiled at me.

I looked at her then closed my eyes and exhaled. "Right."

We got up and left the home. Our units followed us then we warped back to the Graveyard to head to the Tower of Aclia. We traversed down a straightforward path and approached a silver tower. We walked inside the tower then noticed Cuara stopping us.

"We made it to the Tower of Aclia...The enemies here are nothing like the enemies from the first dungeons. The monsters and units in here are all generated by Matsuta himself. Fortunately Bravulla took away his ability to make Seven and Eight Star Units...it might be a slight difference but they are still equipped with powerful Spheres. On the top floor awaits Developer Matsuta himself. Let's get there and stop this madness from becoming any faster." Cuara said.

I nodded and walked forward. The others followed and we rushed forward to clear the first wave of monsters who were here to stop us.

I used my Waking of Willpower to boost my party's parameters by 100%.

"Sol!" Luna called out.

"Luna." Sol called back out to her.

"Let's show them the power of Oracles." Luna smiled.

Sol nodded then dashed forward and Luna summoned multiple portals around the enemies. Sol jumped into the portal then exited the portal with a slash and entered the portal quickly. She did this five more times then apeared beside Luna, preforming a chiburi then ten extra slashes hit the monsters defeating them.

[Floor 1 Cleared!]

I looked at everyone then nodded and we rushed up to the second floor. We rushed into battle once again then began to take down the units with ease. I noticed the monsters were constantly healing then used my Guidance of Light to pinpoint the main target.

Shelly looked at the light then nodded and rushed forward and used Cindering Impalement to charge through the wave of enemies then impaled the healer unit with her lance and defeated her with an upward slash.

"Guidance of Light.." Athena said.

Description: This skill can be used Offensively, Defensively, Supportively. The skill creates a pillar of light within a medium range that deals 300% of Light Elememtal Damage, (500% against Dark Elements), and has a slight change to blind or paralyze them. As a defensive skill, it casts a pillar of light around all allies within a medium range, blocking all damage and can be extending by using more MP. When used supportively, the user can pinpoint any unit on the battlefield regardless of range.

"Shin is just full of versatility. I'm glad he's on our side." Athena smiled then looked back at the enemies.

We defeated the last wave of enemies and I exhaled.

[Floor 2 Cleared!]

"Your Waking of Willpower comes in clutch with the Extra Skill activation that ignored Sphere Boosts." Athena smiled at me.

I restored my MP by using an Elixir and smiled at Athena. "Thank you. It really is an overpowered Skill when you think about it." I said then checked our units' HP and MP.

I used potions and elixirs to heal our units and we headed off to the next floor of the tower. We entered the next floor and noticed two units. One of them was a woman with crimson red hair and her left eye shined a golden color and the other woman had golden brown hair and her right eye shined a crimson red color. I scanned them.

We got ready to battle against the units. Tia ran to us and her golden eye shined. Shelly ran forward to use her Burning Guard, but Mia feinted her attack then once the Burning Guard ended, Mia hit her with a Flare Combo then knocked her in the air. Mia appeared above Shelly and struck her stomach with a Lightning Punch, knocking Shelly back down to the ground and she grunted when she fell.

"Shelly!" Ophelia called out then glared at Mia and Tia. She bellowed and used Spring Rush against them and shot multiple arrows at them.

Both Mia and Tia dodged the arrows swiftly then rushed towards Ophelia. Sol and Luna dashed towards the women and Sol hit Mia with a Dancing Rush. She began to gracefully hit Mia with a flurry of slashes then knocked her away with a powerful slash, followed by ten hidden slices. Mia grunted and fell on one knee. Tia dodged Luna's Black Hole Beam then struck her in the stomach. Luna grunted and was blown away then Tia followed it up with a beam of flames. Hikari hurried in front of beam of flames then parried the beam back to Tia.

Mia stood up and grunted softly then her eyes shined brightly. She dashed forward to us then I rushed ahead and used Truthseeking Raid followed by a Full Death Striker, blowing Mia away then I used Guidance of Light to strike her down and she yelled in pain. Those attacks were enough to take her down, but I noticed defeating one wasn't enough.

"It's an ability Dual Units have called Soul Fusion! You can't defeat one without defeating the other at the same time. We need to defeat Tia and Mia at the same time or else the other will keep healing." Athena said.

I nodded then Athena nodded back at me. We rushed to handle Tia and Mia together. Tia and Mia ran towards us then I activated my fourth Weapon Skill and allowed Tia to hit me, locking her skills as she hit me. She looked surprised then jumped backwards. Tia bellowed and sent a beam of flames at me. I parried the beam back towards her and she grunted then was hit by the beam.

Athena rushed towards Mia and used Million Stab against Mia and Mia wasn't able to block the first attack as her guard immediately broke due to Athena's Leader Skill. She began to strike Mia with rapid strikes then thrust her sword at her one last time, blowing her away to Tia.

"Let's end this!" I said.

"Right!" Athena nodded.

We dashed towards the two women then struck their weak spots at the same time and they screamed in pain then dispersed into magic particles.

[Floor 3 Cleared!]

Athena walked to me and smiled, and I returned her smile with one of my own. We heard a roar and a rumble outside then we ran to a window of the tower seeing a dragon flying up the tower. We looked surprised heard a wall breaking a few floors above us.

"How high does this tower go exactly?" Athena asked.

"There are at least 10 Floors on this tower, but the stairwells are pretty large and long. This is the shortest tower in Soria, but that doesn't change the fact this tower peaks at the sky. That dragon sounded like it was at least floor six or seven. We better get there quickly to take it out." I said.

"Okay." Athena nodded.

We hurried off with our units then went to the next floor of the tower.
