The Oracle Temple

We made it to the ruins and looked around. There wasn't a soul in these ruins. Not a single monster nor unit. It was as if everyone was gone. I walked ahead and crossed my arms. I stopped and looked around, noticing Cuara looking at a broken statue. I walked over to her. I made it to her and poked her side. She jumped a bit and turned around to look at me.

"Shin. This is the Oracle Temple...or what's left of it. This place had been abandoned for thousands of years and now it comes to this. The only place that's still okay is the main building." Cuara pointed.

I looked at the main building and crossed my arms. "That's the actual Oracle Temple?"

"Yeah. It is a wonder why there aren't any monsters in the area or units or anything. It seems they were scared off or killed. Nevertheless, you've got to clear this dungeon to get to the graveyard and then once you're finished with that we have the Tower of Aclia! We are so close, you can do it I know you can!" Cuara smiled and held my arms.

I looked at her and she let go of my arms. I smiled then looked at the temple. "I'll see you at the graveyard."

She nodded then warped away.

"Alright everyone let's clear this dungeon and get to the graveyard." I said then walked forward.

My units followed me and we went towards the building. We walked inside the building and looked around. As we walked forward I noticed Shelly rush forward and block an attack from a unit.

I looked at the unit and noticed a woman with pure white hair, pure blue eyes and white accessories in her hair that resembles angel wings. She wore a blue minidress, silver gauntlets with black arm sleeves, black thigh highs with silver armored boots, and a bow around her waist. She carried a blade as big as herself along with a shield. I noticed she was moving pretty quickly with such weight on her.

"That's Hikari!" Yuki said.

Hikari heard Yuki's voice then looked at Shelly and backed off. "Yuki..? What are you doing here?"

"I can ask you the same. Why did you just attack us out of the blue?" Yuki asked.

"I thought you all were with the man who kidnapped my Mistress! I've been looking around for her but she's gone. I can't find her in this maze of a temple. It's like a big circle!" Hikari sighed.

We noticed a light shining and looked at the light. "The Light is your guide. Follow the light that which guides you and your fate will soon be clear. Disobey the light and you shall soon find yourself back where you started." The voice said then the light disappeared.

We all looked at one another and sighed. "The Guiding Light is one of the Virtues. We are lost souls in this case. We must follow the light that which will guide us if we want to find your Mistress."

"Alright...I trust you..." Hikari said then sighed.

"Alright let's go save your Mistress and find the exit of this Temple." I said.

"But how? I don't even know what light the voice is talking about. There is no light here other than the lights of the temple and the pure lights of these...whatever they are floating around." Hikari said.

"Is this a Field Effect, Master?" Yuki asked.

"By the sound of it and the little riddle or hint the voice said to us, it sounds like this could be the Field Effect named Wandering Light. This field effect is used in various mazes all with different effects based on the environment. The basics of the effect is your sense of direction is gone and you can't traverse the maze on your own because you'll only end up back where you started. There is always a wandering spirit around, walking in a certain direction. That is the light that Guides. The secondary effects vary on environment." I answered.

"What are the secondary effects of this Wandering Light?" Hikari asked.

"Light units are boosted by 50% while other units are debuffed by 25% and Dark Units are unable to hit Light Units." I answered.

"So basically I'm useless here." Yuki sighed and had a tighter grip on her staff.

I activated my sixth Weapon Skill and Yuki looked at me. "Even if you can't deal damage to them, you will take neutral damage since I negated Elemental Damage for all of us. Even if you can't do anything, I'll protect you with everything I've got so don't worry."

[Yuki's Bond Percentage rose to 60%]

[Affinity Rank UP!]

[Yuki's Affinity Rank: Crush]

Yuki nodded and stuck even closer to me. I rubbed her head and smiled then walked forward. The others followed closely behind. I noticed a faint light moving to the left. It was a spirit walking along the left path. We followed the spirit and entered a different room. I looked around and noticed a large sign then walked to it. I read the words on the sign.

"This is the home of the Oracle Savior. We follow her Guidance. We follow her world. We follow her Judgement. She gives us Hope. She gives us Willpower. She knows the Truth. She has surpassed Death." I read and noticed Hikari and Yuki walking forward to the sign.

"A bunch of bullshit. We were killed because of the hidden corruption of these sex crazed Goddesses. We defied them so we can have our voices heard. She's just another puppet of a Goddess who barely cares about her own people." Hikari said.

"You are also against Bravulla. In the original game, she was the main villain. Using the summoner's power to kill the Goddesses so she can gain 100% Rule over the universe...but I feel as if this Bravulla is different. She may have gotten me into this mess, but it was for good cause...I hope." I replied then sensed enemy units in the area. I turned around and noticed some angels with their weapons in hand. I scanned them.

Name: Warrior Angel

Level: 30

HP: 2,321/2,321

Hikari and the others rushed forward to fight off the angels. I summoned my sword and changed my element to Light. I dashed forward and bellowed then sliced one of the angels in half, causing them to disperse into magic particles.

Shelly used Cindering Impalement on one of the angels, charging forward and slamming them into the wall. The angel groaned loudly then slowly dispersed into magic particles. Hikari slashed in a circle, hitting an angel and sliced them in half then threw her shield at another, cleaning slicing off the head. Both the angels dispersed into magic particles. Ophelia twirled her bow then shot an angel in the head. The angel fell to their knees and dispersed into magic particles.

"Master!" Yuki cried out and stumbled backwards.

I looked at Yuki and noticed an angel flying to her. I bellowed and my eyes shined gold. "Burst Skill: Lustrous Excalibur!" I yelled and my sword shined. I slashed down and a sword beam was released from the tip of my sword.

The angel looked back at me then looked surprised. The beam hit them and an explosion occurred afterwards. Yuki looked up, seeing the golden smoke from the explosion. The smoke cleared and she noticed the magic particles of the defeated angel. I exhaled and twirled my sword then sheathed my sword. I walked to Yuki and caressed her cheek. She blushed and looked at me.

"Let's go." I smiled and walked forward.

They all followed me and we noticed the spirit taking another left path. We followed the spirit and noticed more angels in the area. We rushed into battle and swiftly took out the angels. After the last angel was defeated, I walked to the sign I noticed and read the contents of the sign.

"Una is the Savior of our universe of corruption. She has saved us in the past and she will again if needed. Hail Una the Oracle Savior." I read.

"Doesn't sound like normal worshipers to me. Sounds like obsession." Shelly said.

"I agree. It sounds like they worship Una as if she's a Goddess when she's just a knight with the power of a Goddess." Yuki said then looked around.

"A puppet who was used to kill those who didn't do what Bravulla liked. I still want my revenge! I refuse to let things stay as they are!" Hikari said.

I looked at them and walked towards them. Hikari and Yuki looked at me. I placed my hands on their shoulders. "There will be a time where you'll get your revenge, but we have to focus on finding your Mistress first before we can focus on your revenge against Una and Bravulla."

"You're right..." Hikari sighed. "Let's continue trying to find them. They can't be too far from here...I think."

I looked back and noticed the spirit taking the middle path. "We can only hope." I responded.

We all hurried down the middle path and we ended up in the next area. It was large room and the same light we saw at the starting area of the temple appeared once again. "The Field Effect has been deactivated. The next area is beyond this door. The one you desire will be there."

The light disappeared and I looked at the door. "This seems a bit too easy..." I said then looked at Hikari.

"I agree...This seems...simple. There is no way Mistress is just beyond that door.." Hikari said.

"Only one way to find out..." I said then walked forward. The others followed me and watched me open the door then we walked through. We noticed we were in a huge battlefield.

"Mistress Athena!" Hikari called out to the woman on the ground.

The woman on the ground had red hair tied into a ponytail, a black accessory clipped onto the side of her hair that looked like throwing knives, and a crystal choker on her neck. She wore a black mini dress with silver embellishments and a black waist cape with a split on the back. She had on black knee high boots with silver embellishments on it as well and a crystal fixed on the knee of the boots. She also had a tattoo on her thigh.

"Mistress Athena!" Hikari yelled then attempted to run forward, but I stopped her.

"Hold on. It's a trap. We aren't alone here." I said then looked around. I looked ahead and noticed a spirit walking forward and materialize into a unit. I scanned the unit.

Name: Wandering Spirit Demina

Rarity: Six Stars

Element: Light

Weakness: Dark

Resist: Light

Type: Mixed (Speed + Breaker + Tank)

Level: 30

HP: 9,155/9,155

MP: 597/597

ATK: 612

DEF: 612

MATK: 200

MDEF: 612

AGI: 612

LUK: 300

"A unit who's mixed with three types..? What the hell is this..?" I asked myself then heard a laugh. I noticed a woman with a mask on appear beside Athena. From what I could see, the woman had long blonde hair, wore gold armor and had a red cape behind her.

"You finally make it. I was starting to think you would've become lost souls like the others. If you want your precious friend back, you have to pass my trial!" The woman laughed. "Demina! Strike them down!"

Demina looked at us and summoned two swords. I summoned my weapon and got in my stance. I glared at Demina and the mysterious woman.

"This won't be easy so make sure to give it your all!" I said.

"Right!" Hikari and the others said.
