The Frozen Ending

I sliced through the last Merman and sighed then stood up straight, stretching. Yuki and Ophelia smiled at each other and Ravia stuck her claymore into the ground. Bonnie lowered her sniper and exhaled then stood up. She looked at me and looked down a bit then her sniper disappeared. She walked over to me and tapped my shoulder. I turned around to look at her.

"What's up Bon?" I asked and sheathed my sword then crossed my arms.

Bonnie held her arms and looked into the distance. "There's something that I've been meaning to ask you about for a while now. It's about...I guess...you. What were you like before Harem Summoners?"

"Well I can tell you for certain that I was a huge dork, a complete loser. I didn't have many friends, but I did have a decent paying job and I did have a girlfriend, but she cheated on me with a guy who was hotter and better looking than me. That's when I found Harem Summoner through an ad as I was already playing a different game on my computer." I answered.

"I can't imagine you as a loser. I mean look at you, you're handsome as hell and have a huge following and-" Bonnie stopped herself and blushed a bit.

I smiled and chuckled then twirled a strand of hair around my fingers then looked at the sky, letting the snowflakes hit my face. "I did change my life around when I did start to play it. The game taught me how to flirt efficiently and effectively. Taught me how to talk to girls effectively. I never really was a person who would talk to many girls back then but things changed. I had to make myself better especially after I won that first tournament."

Bonnie listened to me, interested in the topic. She noticed I had stopped talking when I noticed I was just rambling on and on. She gave a slight smile and looked at the sky as well. "I used to be like you as well. A loser except I never had a boyfriend or any friends at all since I always moved around because my parents were in the military. I was a huge anime nerd as well and knew every single thing about the hottest anime and thing like that but never knew how to talk to boys.."

"Is that why you're so cold right now? I guess we cracked the code." I teased.

"Fuck you." Bonnie smiled and pushed me away playfully. "That's not why I am cold to people. The reason I am cold to people is because I got my heart broken by someone I thought really liked me. I thought me and him were kicking things off, we were talking and flirting. He also loved anime and games then...one day he just ghosted me. I knew he was getting my calls because whenever I did call him he declines them. He just completely ditched me...so from that day forward, I vowed to never talk to another man...until I met you the first time."

"Ahh...My looks were just that mesmerizing huh?" I chuckled and looked at Bonnie, noticing her blushing more.

"Sh-Shut up! They aren't! You just peaked my interests because you were getting swarmed and you and your units seemed to fend them off easily!" Bonnie squeaked.

I laughed softly and looked down, rubbing the back of my head then looked back up at Bonnie. "You're cute when you're all flustered. You get flustered pretty easily it seems."

I smiled and watched her walk off. I looked back at the other three women and they looked at me with a smile on their faces. We followed Bonnie down a path. Bonnie scanned the area then a powerful blizzard began to blow. We all grunted and covered our faces from the blizzard. I looked ahead and noticed a woman with light blue hair with lion ears and purple eyes. She walked towards us wearing gold armor with fur accessories attached to the armor and a cape made of fur. She carried a greatsword and had frost aura around her. I took this chance to scan her.

The male crashed down onto the ground and stood up. I looked at the male and noticed his appearance. He had long black hair and wore a long blue jacket, black shirt, pants, and boots with blue accents. He carried a sword that seemed to be made from pure ice. I scanned him immediately.

The blizzard stopped and I looked at Nevio and Clawdia. I glared and drew my weapon out of my scabbard. Bonnie summoned her sniper and glared at them as well. Our units got prepared for battle. Nevio and Clawdia exerted powerful energy and I had a feeling he was partnered up with Yoshimune.

"Yoshimune couldn't stay in Aclia because he was called by the Goddess of Willpower to settle matters in the St. Eternus Tower. I will be the one to take you down, Shin. We will not allow you to disturb the process of Developer Matsuta. There is a reason he is doing this." Nevio said.

"He is about to kill over a million people! If the Goddesses destroy the universe, over a million people will die! You're telling me you don't want to stop this from happening?!" I yelled.

"It's gonna be a while before that happens. That is why Developer Matsuta wishes to make the process faster. This entire game and its servers will be destroyed. All data of this game will be erased. If you truly wish to stop this, you must face Developer Matsuta in the Tower of Aclia, but be warned that even if he is defeated, the process continues unless the Goddesses are stopped. Your decisions matter, Shin. You can join Matsuta and us, become immortal so when the universe is destroyed...you can live to see another day in a perfect universe..a universe Developer Matsuta will create!" Nevio said.

"The Tower of Aclia...that's the final dungeon of this continent, but why is he so easy to get to? Has no one been able to make it there?" Bonnie asked.

"No. Anyone who has tried to stop him has failed and died. Anyone who has went against the guild I am in named the Grand Order, has died. I have no idea why Yoshimune is so hesitant to kill you Shin, but I know I won't hesitate to kill you right here in this very Snowfield." Nevio said then pointed his sword at me. "Any player that dies, their units are captured and summoned by the victorious player. Your Yuki and Ophelia belongs to me now."

I looked at Clawdia and noticed how unhappy she was. I looked back at Nevio and glared at him. I prepared my sword for battle and got into a stance.

"This is what I mean by hacking Bond Percentages and Affinity Ranks...Clawdia is forced to obey Nevio. This isn't fair.." Yuki said and looked upset.

"We have to save her, but the only way to do that is by killing Nevio..." Ravia said and scowled at Nevio.

I twirled my sword in a circle then smirked. "If that's what I need to do then so be it!"

"Overconfidence will get you killed.." Nevio said then got in his stance.

I launched myself at Nevio and slashed, but his barrier blocked the attack. I jumped back and Bonnie took aim. I dashed towards Nevio once again. Bonnie used her Multi-Shot skill and the bullet went flying.

"You're gonna hit your partner before the bullets even get to me.." Nevio smirked then looked surprised when the five bullets curved around my body and struck the barrier. "What the-"

"Fury Slash!" I bellowed and slashed in a circle, hitting the barrier and getting an attack boost off the barrier. I jumped backwards and got in my stance. "Everyone! Cover me!"

Yuki, Ophelia, and Ravia began to prepare themselves to fight. Bonnie looked at me and noticed me spamming Brave Boost until I was strong enough to one shot Nevio.

"Clawdia! Stop him!" Nevio commanded.

Clawdia wanted to disobey him, but last time she did he beat her up for doing so. She swallowed her pride and dashed towards me, but she wasn't too fast because of her agility stat and the armor weighing her down.

Yuki shot a powerful Dark Beam EX at Clawdia to stop her from progressing. "I'm sorry!"

Clawdia was hit and she grunted lightly, tanking it pretty well. She kept pushing forward through the Dark Beam EX. "I can't stop...I must get him!"

"Floral Shine!" Ophelia bellowed and shot a massive beam of light green energy at Clawdia. The beam dealt Earth and Light elemental damage.

An explosion happened and Ophelia lowered her hands. The smoke cleared and Clawdia kept pushing forward. Ravia bellowed and dashed forward to Clawdia.

"Paralysis Saber!" Ravia slashed down at Clawdia and Clawdia groaned loudly.

An explosion happened and Clawdia was blown away. Clawdia grunted as she was paralyzed. She fell on one knee and her body jolted.

"Just a bit longer everyone..!" I said then heard multiple gunshots.

Nevio groaned. "You useless piece of shit! Must I do everything myself?!"

Nevio dashed forward and went to deflect the bullets, but the bullets curved around Nevio and struck the barrier. He rushed straight for me and his eyes shined. I looked at him and my eyes shined.

"Brave Flash!" I bellowed and slashed at his barrier, shattering it in one blow. I slashed two more times then slashed upwards, hitting him and sending him flying in the air.

'He's using the basic Summoner Weapons...and using them effectively...Brave Flash gets stronger per Brave Boost...He used Brave Boost five times and now his attack and defense boosts will last for five minutes... I need to kill him now!' Nevio thought to himself.

Nevio landed on the ground and bellowed then a blizzard was summoned. He dashed to me and prepared to use a boosted Blizzard Rush. I parried each of his attacks then used Fury Slash and knocked him away. He groaned loudly as he took massive damage from my Fury Slash. His HP went to the yellow zone and his eyes got crazy.

"How can this be..?! How am I losing to this scum! This waste of data space?! I shouldn't be losing!" Nevio yelled and panted.

Bonnie and the others looked at Nevio, watching him freak out.

"I won't let you kill me nor allow you to stop me from saving this universe! This universe is now my home and I will do whatever it takes to save it!" I said then dashed towards Nevio and my eyes emitted lightning aura.

I slashed through him and he groaned in pain then I combo'd into a Brave Flash and a Fury Slash knocking him away once again. "Burst Skill EX: Grand Slash EX!" I bellowed and slashed down, releasing a powerful thunder element cutting wave at him.

Nevio looked at the cutting wave then a flaming sword blocked the attack and an explosion happened. Nevio grunted and covered his face from the smoke then looked up. He noticed Yoshimune land on the ground. "Yoshimune.."

"Getting beaten by a rookie...Pathetic." Yoshimune said then warped him, Nevio, and Clawdia out of the Snowfield then summoned a Snow Dragon.

"Is that it?" Yuki asked.

I sensed the Snow Dragon and once the smoke cleared, I got a clear visual of the dragon then scanned it.

The Snow Dragon looked at us and roared. I still had a good four minutes of the Brave Boost left.

"The Snowfield Boss...This is it! Let's take it down!" Bonnie said then took aim once again.

"Spring Tides!" Ophelia bellowed and sent petal bullets at the Snow Dragon while healing all of us to full health.

I dashed forward and hit the dragon's limbs with a Brave Flash and it roared loudly and its dermal armor broke from my four hit combo. I hit it with a Fury Slash and caused it to step backwards.

"It's weakened! Go all out!" Bonnie said then used Bullet Hellfire on the Snow Dragon and the dragon roared loudly then managed to obtain super armor and released a massive beam from its mouth, striking Yuki, Ophelia, and Bonnie. They all groaned and were sent into the yellow zone.

"Burst Skill: Lightning Crasher!" Ravia yelled and slashed down at the Snow Dragon and a powerful bolt of lightning struck the dragon.

"I'm ending this now!" I bellowed. "Burst Skill: Valiant Slash!"

I slashed downward and released a cutting wave at the dragon, hitting it then the cutting wave sliced the dragon in half and the dragon slowly turned into magic particles.

She turned away and closed her eyes. "Until we meet again, Shin." She walked away with Ravia at her side.

I looked at Yuki and Ophelia and noticed they were beaten up pretty badly. "Let's go rest at home. You two deserve it." I smiled.

"Okay." They both agreed and followed me back to town.
