Chapter 10: Bia’s POV

Aadia appears with her boyfriend, Jake. Following them in another flash is Link, Ava, and Tia. Jazzi shows up too. So does Amanda and Adam, the twins.

It's so weird looking at a clone of myself, but I guess that's what I have to deal with, so I look at everyone.

"I know its dark, but for those of you who are new here, You were chosen a long time ago to be on our team. The only people that are awake now are us. We're the immortal team, and our name is Hardly Human. Listen, okay? Since it's dark, all you have to do is pulse out your palm, and your powers will ignite. Ryan and I are Teal, SheShe is Pink, Wynter is Red, Aadia and Jake are green, Catty is Purple, Crystal is yellow, Ashley is White, and Tia, Ava, and Link are all Silver, as well as Amanda and Adam, who are gold."

In a flash of colors, everyone learns quickly how to ignite their powers.

" Okay, go for the goal. Nevaeh is NOT priority. She'll capture you in a coma of darkness if you show her your fear. Stay away from her. Our goal is ...."

I look at Ashley, and see her dream from last night.

"The traitor is April Aprulson."

Crystal looks down. We have been taking April under our wings since I first transferred to Gulf View High.

"I know it's hard to believe, but we can all do this if we work together. We need to split up. Stay with your color group, don't mix. If you get caught, an explosion of color will show up. DO NOT go near Nevaeh. Ready?"

Nobody objects, so I say with a clap of my hands:

"Let's do this. Stay alive Double H."
