*BOOM* mion was sent flying into the cave wall, it all happened in a blink of an eye, he did not even relieved who had sent him flying only thing that he realized was the intense pain of being kicked in the stomach.

he was on the ground hugging himself as he rolled back and forth, he groaned in pain before he got up to face the threat.

"nic?" he was confused as he saw nic who was in his fairies peak form, he had one leg up as he was in his kicking stance, on his shoulder was Charlotte who had a face of fright as she looked at mion and clenched onto Nics horns, when mion looked at nic he saw that nic was looking at him coldly, and anger can be seen writing all over his face.

"why did you attack Charlotte you dumbass!?" he asked as he was angry at mion for trying to harm Charlotte.

"she is an elf!!"

hearing these words nic calmed down as he understood why mion may have acted the way he did.

"your wrong she is a halfling, she is just like me a creature that is abandoned by your society and all races" nic replied coldly as he sat back down in his meditating position, he placed Charlotte on his lap as he was facing the pool.

mion steared at the back of nic and did not know how to react, he was lost for words as he did not expect that he would form a bond with the little girl so fast, "it seems that they are close, shit is he into loli's or something why did he have to kick so hard" mion mumbled as he looked at Charlotte and nic before rubbing his stomach where he was kicked by nic.

"your safe for now so you dont have to attack nothing in this place" nic was afraid that mion would try and attack the monsters in the pool or even Charlotte, so he tried to comfort him.

mion sat down bitterly with his eyes still focus on Charlotte, he did not trust elves and nothing that nic say would make him comfortable around one.

nic did not pay mion no mind and closed his eyes and went back into his mind, he looked and found that something was different, his clock was still the same but their was a silver crown that was hovering over it, thier was no decorations to the crown, it was nothing more than a silver crown.

nic found this to be strange, he did not know if his gift was improving our if it was just changing in design.

but then he saw that three sparks were orbiting his gift, the one that was in the distance was now orbiting his gift as well.

"if only I had someone that was blessed with the gift of gods messenger" nic mumbled, people blessed with this gift are placed high in society and are protected by every kingdom, they are respected by society because they make it easier to unlock gifts, they are given their own temple's and are used by some to communicate with the gods, they say that if this gift is at S-Rank one may be able to predict the future, it is a mystery as to if this is possible, however if a kingdom possesses the power to read the future it will guard it with their lives, as everyone wants to know their future but none can change it.

nic however just wanted to use the ability to know more details about his gift, only thing he knew was its name and the ability to change him from old to young, he did not know anything.

most gifts had many other things that they can do the more higher that its rank was, niv had a B-Rank gift, it was expected to be able to do so much more than keep him at any age for three hours.

nic did not have much time to think as he saw that the other spark at the front was starting to fall apart and the pain unexpectedly came once more.

it forced him to open his eyes and cough up blood, but he swallowed it back down as he had Charlotte on his lap.

Charlotte looked at him with concern, as she saw that nic was becoming pale once more and that sweat was running down the side of his face.

"am fine" he forced a smile, blood can be seen between his teeth as he smiled from ear to ear.

Charlotte turned back her gaze at the pool, she was looking at the sleeping wyvern as she was concerned about it.

"I bet it would wake soon, dont worry so much" nic said as he patted her on her head, he then closed his eyes and went back in his mind as he did not get a reaction from Charlotte, she was to busy looking at the creature in the pool, hearing nic say he was fine she did not want to be a bother so she chose to focus on the wyvern instead.

"why is it falling apart so sudden" nic thought as he looked at the collapsing spark, he then looked at the spark behind of it and then he realized what was going on.

even though it was being absorbed slower than the spark before it, it was still being absorbed which meant that it would not take the same time as the first spark.

it then began to break apart big chunks, nic did not flinch as he prepared himself for the pain to come.

as it hit his gift it exploded, but this time it did not form a halo, the red mist was sucked into the silver crown, nic then noticed that spots of gold were starting to appear on the crown.

he did not have time to think of what was happening as he saw the final piece of the spark going towards his gift and exploded.

he did not open his eyes this time as he wanted to see the process with his own eyes, his whole body was under pain, and his face showed that it was unbearable, but he kept his eyes shut.

all the mist was sucked into the crown, the crown then began to glow a blinding light which forced nic to open his eyes.

this startled Charlotte, but he simply smiled at her and closed back his eyes.

as soon as he did he saw that the crown was bigger and that it was that of gold, a single red gem can be seen in the center of it, but this is not what got nic attention, as he looked at the clock he can see little cracks that were all over it, and a golden light can be seen coming out of these cracks.

"what the hell is going on" nic said as he looked at his gift.

"why dont you come to me and find out" nic heard the voice that he heard once before and was shocked, he thought that the person had already left his mind.

"come to me, I promise I wont hurt you" the voice was heard once again as nic looked behind him he saw that of a big fox mask.

"as if I can trust someone that is snooping through my mind" nic said as he was angered this was a secret that he wanted to keep to himself now someone else knew about it, and not only this but it seemed that whoever it was have the ability to know everything about him.

"haha, alright how about I tell you what you just did and I would keep it a secret only if you come to me"

"and you will free dona"

"ofcourse!, I had no intention of hurting her to begin with, all I need is you"

nic felt a chill down his spine as he heard these words, "alright I would come but you tell me what is going on first" nic said as he wanted to know more than anything what he was doing.

"it is simple you are raising the rank of your gift, I had never seen someone with this much speed in doing this which had made me interested to the point that I even went to kill a monster to try your technique but was unsuccessful"

"its because you lack the skill" nic said prideful, as he folded his arms with his head upwards as heavenly lights showered him.

"not precisely, I had read everything in your mind about this technique and I did everything you did but I sensed no spark, i also tested it with many others but non sensed a spark, it is almost as if it was something you alone can do" Arthur said as he was amazed by nic technique.

"but you said am raising my gift rank but I feel nothing different after the first time I did" nic said as he was confused more than prideful that he alone can do this technique.

"HAHA, ofcourse you dont you are only going through the evolution phases, you see their are four phases before you go to the next rank, and right now you are at the last phase, their is the crownless phase this is the phase in which everyone is at when they first get their gift no matter which rank it is, then their is the Ring formation phase, in this phase your gift itself experience a change in appearance, you would experience a change to your body but not by much, and then their is the silver crown phase, and after their is the golden crown the last phase after going to the next rank"
