nic slowly breath in and out as he was in his relaxing meditation position, he was slowly directing the spark of the stone towards his gift, he found that this time it was moving a little more faster than the first time he had tried to move the spark towards his gift.

"just a little bit more" nic mumbled, as the spark entered his mind and began to orbit his gift.

he then took a breath of relief before doing it again with another monster core which was also successful.

he brought three sparks to orbit his gift in less than two hours, but while he was going to bring another spark to orbit his gift the spark came at a standstill in his mind at a distance away from his gift.

it did not orbit, and neither did his gift tried to absorb it.

nic came with the conclusion that his gift was only able to orbit three at a time, but as he opened his eyes he saw that the monster core he was holding was dull and was nothing but a useless piece of stone as the spark was moved out of it, he closed his eyes again and found that the spark was still far away from his gift in his mind, he thought that if the spark was not being absorbed by his gift that it would remain in the monster core.

nic looked at the sparks that were orbiting and found that although they looked to be the same distance away from his gift that each of them were a good distance away from each other, but what got his attention was that the one that was the closes was the one that was being absorbed faster than the others and it was orbiting more faster.

"interesting" nic said as he took notes of his strange monster core absorbing technique, this was the technique that he was relying on to be strong enough to face argus to rescue iris, and he also had to face the one that was controlling mion to save dona, he needed to know all he could about the technique so that he would be able to get stronger as soon as he can.

nic did not have anymore monster cores and he was unsure if the croc had a monster core, he was to tired to check as trying to rip apart the head of the monster would be to much work, and he did not want to use phyora as it might merge with the monster core as soon as he struck the monsters head.

"guess that's it for now then" nic said as he made his way over to Charlotte and lay besides her before going to sleep.

the night slowly passed by, nic was not awoken by the cry of a monster, but by pain that he had experienced once before, but this time it was not as horrifying, he sat beside the pool of water and went into a meditating position.

he was trying to see this time what was happening, and why he was going through so much pain.

he closed his eyes and entered his mind, what he had seen gave him an expression of amazement.

"wow" nic could not keep his mouth closed as he looked at the beautiful event.

the spark that was closest to his gift was collapsing and big chunks were striking his gift, the big chunks exploded when they impacted on his gift and were turned into red mist that formed a ring around the clock, (picture Saturn as a clock) then the last piece of the spark struck the clock which made an enormous explosion.

nic can feel the pain of the last impact which made him cry out to the agonizing pain, he held onto his chest as sweat ran down his face.

his cry had not only waking Charlotte but the unconscious mion had also awoken, even the tadpoles were at the surface of the pool and were looking at him, the only thing that was still asleep was the wyvern, it never woke from since it hatched from its egg, if not for the trail of bubbles leaving its nose one may think that it was dead.

"where am I" mion looked around at the strange place before he saw nic who was still in his meditating position, he looked pale as sweat ran down his face.

"nic?" he mumbled as he looked at nic, but then someone else caught his eye, it was a little girl that was crawling with her hands, her face showed determination and worry as she crawled towards nic, her legs were dragged behind as she forced herself towards nic.

"who is she" he looked at Charlotte as he was confused as to why she was crawling on her stomach towards nic, "hey little girl you mind explaining where we are and what your doing?" mion asked with curiosity.

Charlotte did not notice mion from before as she was to focused on nic, she looked back at mion who had a grin on his face, she was alittle shocked as to how he got in her home but she had a more serious issue to deal with, she simply ignored him and kept crawling.

mion did not know what to say as his face darkened from the humiliation of being ignored, he then let out a sigh as it did not really bother him to much.

but he was still confused as to where he was and to what was going on, before his mind was foggy as he escaped and even though he was the one in control of his body it felt as if he was not, he known that he ran away but he did not know why, knowing himself if he was going to escape he would have taken dona with him but he came alone, and now he was in a strange cavern with nic and a strange girl.

mion then forced himself to stand, even with his injuries he was like a unkillable cockroach that didn't know when to quit, he then began to walk towards nic, he was the only one who could have answered his questions, as it was obvious that he was the one that had brought him here.

but as mion got closer he then took another look at the girl that was approaching nic and then he realized that she had long pointed ears.

"ELF!" mion shouted, he known what the elves were capable of as he was at rosevolt the day of the massacre, after he was awoken by dona after the fight with argus, he walked around his once beloved kingdom and saw the amount of blood and carnage that the elves had infused into the kingdoms soil, he had grown a deep hatred for elves and wanted nothing more than revenge for his people.

mion eyes reddened with hatred as he looked at the elven girl, the images of his people flashed in his mind along with the image of the laughing argus.

"you monsters dont even know when to give up!" he shouted in anger as saliva exited his mouth.

"TWO-TIMES BOOST!" mion shouted as his right arm bulged, this got Charlotte attention as she looked back an looked at mion who had his right hand raised.

"HOOVE OF REVENGE!"
