shit I really bite off more than I can chew, nic thought as his expression was frozen, his enemy was none other than a knight and not just a knight but a knight ranked in the top 50, these knights are not to be taken for granted, while knights above rank 1000 normally change frequently, those below 1000 are a different story.
it is said they have powers that are just unimaginable, some can even make you question reality.
"we got to run nic" mion looked at nic seriously as he said these words, a pinch of fear can be heard in his tone.
nic looked around at Charlotte, she was quietly seated in a corner, she was still observing nic, she had known for sure that nic was stabbed but she couldn't find even a slightest wound.
nic suddenly smiled at her, in response she took her eyes off of nic's chest, her face was blushed red when she realized nic was looking at her.
nic chuckled and turned his attention back to mion, "I know a place we can go, but I have to tell you this"
nic then got serious as he walked closer to mion.
"If our enemy find our location, I refuse to leave the southern lands"
(the beast kingdom is at the center of the continent, the lands below are all known as the southern lands and the lands above are known as the northern, at both sides of the beast kingdom are known as the eastern and western)
"why?, you understand the power of the Elgos family dont you?, did I miss something in my explanation?"
"no you did not, I still have to save Iris, I refuse to abandon her" nic said coldly as he walked pass mion and went to Charlotte, Charlotte seeing nic coming towards her stretched out her arms to make it easier to be lifted.
mion was in thoughts, he also wanted to save iris, although he did not know anything about her, it was a strategy to win dona, but argus is a knight, and their is a chance that they are already Being hunted by the Elgos family.
this was alot to think about, it was just suicide at their level of strength to have offended one of humanity's pillars.
mion was deep in thought, but nic had already placed Charlotte on his shoulder and was walking towards the pool.
hmm what do I do about you two?, nic asked himself as he watched the two scaled tadpoles that were playing in the pool.
nic then looked over to the sacks of gold and treasure that were by the pool side, it was a total of 9 sacks that were fill to the the point that it was impossible to tie.
how did they plan to carry all of these?, nic asked himself, they were going to leave a place filled with monsters, and their were many sacks that were empty meaning that they planned to take all the treasure in on go.
looking af the pool it seemed untouched, it was as though no treasure was moved out of it.
nic did not care much about the treasure, right now his problem was that he did not know how to carry the two giant tadpoles with him.
"I think we should just leave them" mion said as he walked towards to pool, "afterall they are nothing but some useless fish"
"it's not that, their is something very special about these two that two monsters capable of defeating me gave their life to protect" nic mumbled coldly.
"why dont you use that" mion was pointing at a giant vase, the vase seemed to be made out of marble and had many blue dragons engraved into it, it was 5feet tall and very wide.
"I saw it before, but to carry it would be to much" nic said as he turned his head away from the pool.
"hmm that would be the perfect training for my body" mion said with a smirk as he jumped into the pool.
he then grabbed the vase, with the vase held in his hands he used it to scoop up the two tadpoles, they could have swam out of the vase but the did not.
mion then found a long golden chain that he wrapped around the vase, he then placed the chains over his shoulders as if it was a bag strap.
"shit this is really heavy!" mion shouted as he tried to climb out of the pool with the vase on his back, it was filled with water and the tadpoles were playing inside.
"TWO-TIMES BOOST!"
mion body started to bulge making him twice the size as he was before.
"FULL-BODY"
mion then climb out of the pool in his swollen form, he then smiled at nic, but nic can see the pain in mion eyes, he was obviously struggling to carry the vase even with his gift.
nic held back his laugh as he watched mion, who was walking towards him, he was walking as though he was a sumo wrestler.
in that instant the wyvern flew over onto mions head, this angered mion who was having a hard time to walk.
"guess you have a purpose to me afterall, my pet carrier" nic said mockingly as he held back his laugh, he wanted to burst out laughing at mion, but he held it back, even Charlotte had a cheeky smile as she watched mion.
"dammit!, let's leave already" mion shouted as he walked pass nic and was heading to the exit.
nic could not hold back anymore and burst out laughing, but he was quickly meet with the eyes of mion that seemed pissed.
"can we leave already?" mion asked as he was agitated by nic.
nic did not say anything, he walked to pick up phyora that was still burning, he then walked infront of mion and exited the cavern.
nic then turned around and faced the cavern entrance, he had phyora held to his side as though he was preparing to attack someone.
mion was confused as he thought nic was going to attack him as he was slowly exiting the cavern, he soon realized that nic was waiting for him to come out.
"phyora burn your flames for many years, flames to turn thy enemy to ash"
nic swung the sword at the entrance of the cavern, the mouth of the cavern was engulfed in raging flames, and phyora that was engulfed in flames was now back to its original form.
